The Heisman race is just getting juicy. We’re witnessing Justin Fields take over many rankings with his ridiculous and popular stat line thrown around–11 passing touchdowns to 11 incompletions. Then Trevor Lawrence is rejuvenated coming off COVID, while he returns as the lead signal-caller for a team that got upset by Notre Dame. The third and possibly biggest household name right now has to belong to Mac Jones. The Alabama QB royalty is leading the No. 1 team and No. 1 offense out of the tunnel. Jones and Saban might just return to the promised land and pick up a Heisman for the Bama QB in the process. All in all, this race blessed us with tons of unanswered questions as a plethora of QBs makes it hard to predict the Heisman winner. But, that’s exactly what we’re going to do.
Let’s take a deep dive into the CFB world and see who the true Top-5 candidates for the ever elusive Heisman are. Let’s begin.
