#4 Dallas Goedert – Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Giants
How has the most successful “Dallas” in the NFL been Deejay Dallas? 2020, man. I don’t get it. That said, I expect that narrative to change down the stretch as Philly gets back their young and highly efficient tight end back from an injury hiatus. In week 10 the Giants aren’t the greatest of matchups, but Carson Wentz loves him some tight ends (I’m going to leave that sentence as it is). Wentz has targeted tight ends on 27% of his pass attempts. Sure, the Eagles pass catchers are mostly all back and healthy this week, but Goedert returned from a fractured ankle last week and ran 25 routes. Yes, he only had 1 target, but the fact he had a full complement of snaps and ran a bunch of routes should make you feel good about plugging him into your lineups this week. He’s healthy and there’s no Zach Ertz to compete with him for targets. Last season Goedert finished as a TE1 in more than half his games. I don’t see why he shouldn’t get there again in Week 10.
