Is it still Travis Fulgham season? I believe in his talent and ability to produce solid fantasy numbers but am worried he has started his decline in value. Jalen Reagor, Dallas Goedert, Alshon Jeffery, and now potentially Zach Ertz are all back in the lineup which could drastically reduce opportunities moving forward.
Against the Giants last week-Fulgham was held to one reception for 8 yards with a modest 5 targets. Eagles fans will be the first to tell you that play calling has been an issue and Carson Wentz postgame press conferences are on a repeat of him claiming he needs to be better. It is documented (see Weeks 5-7) that when presented with a plethora of targets, Fulgham is a solidified fantasy starter.
Unfortunately, the Eagles’ offense is a chaotic mess, and being able to rely on Travis moving forward is risky. I would not consider him anything more than a matchup-based play or flex at best. Keep a close eye on his production vs Cleveland this week, plug him in vs Seattle in Week 12, and by that time you will know if he deserves a starting spot on your roster or not. Time will tell, but Travis Fulgham’s run as being fantasy relevant may be coming to an end.
