J.D. McKissic

As much as I love Antonio Gibson, it’s hard to ignore McKissic. His late target count and PPR mismatch are absurd. As of late McKissic is flirting with RB2 territory. Let’s dive into the numbers.

Starting with the targets. Looking at McKissic’s target breakdown, he is a nightmare for opposing linebackers. Since Week 3 he has been a force, let’s take a look at the targets.

  • Week 3: 4 Targets
  • Week 4: 8 Tagrtes
  • Week 5: 8 Targets
  • Week 6: 6 Targets
  • Week 7: 2 Targets
  • Week 8: BYE
  • Week 9: 14 Targets
  • Week 10: 15 Targets

Not only was the beginning of the season elite, but as of the last two weeks, he is getting peppered with targets.

It’s not just the usage in the passing game it’s what he is doing with it. The fantasy numbers are just as impressive. Here’s a look at what McKissic is scoring since Week 3.

  • Week 3: 8.2 Points
  • Week 4: 9.6 Points
  • Week 5: 10.9 Points
  • Week 6: 14.4 Points
  • Week 7: 7.1 Points
  • Week 8: BYE
  • Week 9: 17.2 Points
  • Week 10: 17.9 Points

McKissic is a great trade piece in PPR. He is pushing mid tier RB2 territory.
