It’s interesting that the Jets have been hyping up Perine since pre season. They release Bell and it looks like Perine is ready to shine but then they continue to give Gore the work. Well, during the media this week head coach Adam Gase said the team is going to give Perine more work.
Perine has averaged 10.5 opportunities per game over their last four games, and when given the chance I think that Perine could really shine. Next week Perine squares off against one of the league’s worst run defenses in Miami. Stashing him now versus a team that has given up 13 top-36 PPR finishes to running backs. That’s major value as a RB3 or even potential flex.
