Michael Pittman Jr, WR, Indianapolis Colts
As bad as Phillip Rivers is at QB, that’s as good as Pittman is at WR. After spending his first 3 weeks of the season learning and then getting injured for 4 weeks, Pittman has finally come around.
In the past four weeks, Pittman has displayed major skills and flashed high-level fantasy production.
On Sunday, Pittman collected his first career NFL touchdown in a massive fantasy day for him. After supplanting Hilton and Pascal on the depth chart, Pittman has reached fantasy relevance.
Here is a look at his last 3 games including his stat line and targets:
- Week 9: 7 Targets – 4/56/0 – 9.6 Fantasy points
- Week 10: 8 Targets – 7/101/0 – 17.2 Fantasy points
- Week 11: 3 Targets – 3/66/1 – 15.6 Fantasy points
I’m so high on Pittman for now and later, especially for down the line. With Rivers being in the last year of his career, Pittman’s value in my mind is rising rapidly.
With an above-average QB, Pittman could see mid-tier WR2 numbers for the next decade if not higher.
