Gibson had some hype around his name early in the season after the Washington Football Team released Derrius Guice and Adrian Peterson from the roster. His career started a little rocky in the fantasy world, as it was impossible to gauge when he’d have a good game or not.
However, the rookie RB has scored double-digit fantasy points in 4 consecutive games. During this 4 game stretch, Antonio Gibson is averaging 71.75 yards per game, along with 5 rushing touchdowns. His ceiling is capped though, as it seems JD McKissic is the main receiving option out of the back field.
Although that may be true, Gibson has tremendous stand alone value this week as he’ll be facing an extremely weak Cowboys defense. So far this year, Dallas has allowed an average of 153.8 rushing yards per game, putting them near last place in the league. Antonio Gibson has the hot hand right now, and with a matchup with one of the worst rush defenses in the NFL, the Washington RB is a strong FLEX play for Week 12.
