5. Derek Carr

Not only is Derek Carr only rostered in 56.5% of fantasy leagues, he presents a lot of talent with a couple of great match-ups down the road.

Carr, who was ranked as the 8th best QB in Week 11, should really be be in the 4-6 range in Week 12. Carr faces an Atlanta defense that had Taysom Hill pose as the 3rd best QB in Week 11!

Carr is heating up for his playoff-hopeful squad at the right time. He’s coming off a 275-3-1 game. Carr could very well be posting much bigger numbers against a defense that allowed Taysom Hill to connect with Emmanual Sanders on multiple 40+ yard gains last week (one was called back). And I promise those weren’t great passes by Hill.

This game also has shootout written all over it, as Atlanta is still one of the top passing offenses in the league. Make sure to either 1. Get Carr, or 2. Start Carr over a “Top 8-12 QB with a tough match-up”.
