Three QBS to START:
- Kirk Cousins, Minnesota Vikings (vs JAX)
Despite heavy criticism, Kirk Cousins has been red hot. Over his last four games, Cousins has thrown 11 touchdowns to one interception. As a team, the Vikings have won four of their last five and are now in the playoff hunt.
In fantasy, he has scored no less than 17.5 points during this stretch. Last week, Cousins was without Thielen and still threw for 307 yards and three touchdowns.
This week, while Thielen will return, Dalvin Cook has been seeing limited reps in practice. If Cook is limited, then the Vikings will depend on Cousins to move the chains.
On the opposing side of the ball, the Jacksonville Jaguars have the fourth worst passing defense in the league.
In 2020 on the road, which will be the case in Minnesota. Additionally, the Jags have allowed exactly two passing touchdowns in each of their last four games. As a result, opposing quarterbacks are averaging over 22 fantasy points per game, the third-highest in the NFL. To make matters worse, the Jacksonville defense will be without top pass rusher Josh Allen.
In summary, Kirk Cousins has been playing very well of late and has an ideal matchup. On ESPN, Cousins is only rostered on 29% of leagues, meaning he is available to help make a playoff push. Really, the only concern is that this game becomes a blowout quickly and Dalvin Cook takes over all offensive plays.
