Miles Sanders, RB, Philiedelphia Eagles
A low end 1st-high end 2nd rounder, Sanders has been one of the shakiest players lately. After a few weeks it seems like he won’t be returning the value you spent drafting him with. He has missed games due to health and his place is lackluster.
The surroundings are killing Sanders. Wentz has been absolute garbage, making teams stack the box and force turnovers. And the offensive line is decimated with injuries. Both of these factors are killing the value and play of Sanders. Although in his own right he isn’t playing well.
Not only are the surroundings terrible but the matchup is brutal. Sanders squares up against the New Orleans Saints, the leagues top run defense. So far on the season they are allowing a league best 16.2 fantasy points per game to opposing RBs. That’s NASTY.
The matchup is brutal and it’s alarming to note that Jalen Hurts is now the starting QB. He is a duel threat runner and thrower. It could severely limit Sanders’ ability to run. Here is a concerning stat from Hurts and Sanders time on Sunday.
I’m fading Sanders big time this week. He has scored sub-9 PPR points in his last three games. He has only seen 20 carries one time on the season. And now he is in for the toughest matchup of the season. The fade of Sanders is on for this weekend.
