<h1 class="wp-block-heading">Who is the best WR target for the Packers?</h1>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">By: Jake Rajala</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Green Bay Packers chose to not select a wide receiver in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft. However, Aaron Rodgers was still a huge fan of the fellow NFC North draft&#8217;s selection of Jameson Williams. Nonetheless, A-Rod was able to garner a rookie WR with quality potential in round two in Christian Watson. The new Packer will help Sammy Watkins, Allen Lazard, and Randall Cobb fuel the 2020 and 2021 MVP signal-caller. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">.<a href="https://twitter.com/ChristianW2017?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@ChristianW2017</a> showing the hands. ??<a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/GoPackGo?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#GoPackGo</a> <a href="https://t.co/VYmpzX0tDU">pic.twitter.com/VYmpzX0tDU</a></p>&mdash; Green Bay Packers (@packers) <a href="https://twitter.com/packers/status/1522683643268902914?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">May 6, 2022</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">With that stated, it would make sense if the Packers brought in a talented/veteran WR for competition. Here are five wide-outs that would be exciting, unique additions for GB. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Will Fuller</span></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The New Orleans Saints signed a big-name player (Tyrann Mathieu) at a key position after the draft and it might be time for the Packers to ink a household profile at a need position post the NFL draft, as well. The explosive WR Will Fuller has flirted with the Pack in prior years but would definitely be the perfect fit for the Packers in 2022 (to say the least). He can be a fantastic deep threat, which should bring music to Matt LaFleur&#8217;s ears. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Julio Jones and Will Fuller to the Packers confirmed.</p>&mdash; Jake Trowbridge (@JakeTrowbridge) <a href="https://twitter.com/JakeTrowbridge/status/1519884155965911040?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">April 29, 2022</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Desean Jackson</span></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The idea of GB signing Desean Jackson isn&#8217;t sexy, but the Eagles legend might be a nice value signing for Matt LaFleur&#8217;s squad. He quietly contributed 454 yards for LA/LV last season. After Jackson signed with Sean McVay&#8217;s dream team in 2021, he likely wants to play for a Super Bowl contender at this stage in his career, too. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Desean Jackson caught a touchdown. <br><br>It is Thanksgiving. <br><br> <a href="https://t.co/McDH9TKqUI">pic.twitter.com/McDH9TKqUI</a></p>&mdash; Jeff Bell (@4WhomJBellTolls) <a href="https://twitter.com/4WhomJBellTolls/status/1463987890766163978?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">November 25, 2021</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Odell Beckham Jr.</span></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">OBJ may not reunite with Los Angeles or New Orleans, so he could be tempted to sign with a different NFC contender: Green Bay. If the Packers could sign Beckham Jr, they could have a quality WR room in the back-end of next season. He may also help Rodgers stay away from a retirement home beyond 2022. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Eight years ago today, the Giants drafted <a href="https://twitter.com/obj?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@obj</a> with the 12th pick in the 2014 Draft.<br><br>His rookie season was historic: <br>91 receptions | 1305 yards | 12 TDs ?<a href="https://t.co/A1alrGab7E">pic.twitter.com/A1alrGab7E</a></p>&mdash; Complex Sports (@ComplexSports) <a href="https://twitter.com/ComplexSports/status/1523324782669819905?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">May 8, 2022</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Marquise Goodwin</span></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The alpha persona Marquise Goodwin isn&#8217;t scared of competing for the Olympics or flat out beating any cornerback in a foot race. Goodwin&#8217;s athletic ability could be utilized quite well in <s>Matt Nagy&#8217;s </s>Rodgers&#8217;s passing attack. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Allen Hurns</span></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The former undrafted wideout Allen Hurns unveiled 1,031 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2015, but he hasn&#8217;t recorded 500+ yards in a single season since 2015. He might be a great depth signing with sneaky potential for the Packers. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Former Cowboys WR Allen Hurns breaking four tackles for the touchdown <a href="https://t.co/10gA5dsz7i">pic.twitter.com/10gA5dsz7i</a></p>&mdash; Jon Machota (@jonmachota) <a href="https://twitter.com/jonmachota/status/1188981443264962560?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">October 29, 2019</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

<h1 class="wp-block-heading">Who is the top deep threat WR available for the Packers?</h1>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">By: Jake Rajala</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Green Bay Packers really need to add wide receiver talent, according to Captain Obvious. The Pack has lost Davante Adams and they failed to re-sign MVS. The 2021 and 2020 MVP Aaron Rodgers honestly deserves a couple of wide receivers that have Pro Bowl potential. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Throwback to Randall Cobb pulling off one of the nastiest juke moves you&#39;ll ever see&#8230;<br><br>He had the entire city of Chicago lost on this one.<a href="https://t.co/NsyqHUWgGR">pic.twitter.com/NsyqHUWgGR</a></p>&mdash; Eli Berkovits (@BookOfEli_NFL) <a href="https://twitter.com/BookOfEli_NFL/status/1488953497978499073?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">February 2, 2022</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">According to Matt LaFleur, the Packers are looking to add a &#8220;deep threat&#8221; wideout. I would fully expect them to add multiple quality WRs, but they are clearly desperate to find a WR that specializes in taking the top off a defense. With that said, I will offer a unique, exciting outlook on the particular category of speed WRs that the Packers could sign soon. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">T.Y. Hilton</span></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Packers NEED to sign T.Y. Hilton or Will Fuller in my opinion. I would prefer to see the Packers sign Hilton to a short-term contract than break the bank for Fuller. Hilton can aspire to ride off into the sunset with the Packers future Hall of Fame signal-caller. If he doesn&#8217;t re-sign with the Colts, I&#8217;d be shocked if the Packers let him slip to another team. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">T.Y. Hilton in the right place at the right time ?<br><br>(via <a href="https://twitter.com/NFL?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@NFL</a>)<a href="https://t.co/ayqo8ghL5M">pic.twitter.com/ayqo8ghL5M</a></p>&mdash; Bleacher Report (@BleacherReport) <a href="https://twitter.com/BleacherReport/status/1477728873274122244?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">January 2, 2022</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Allen Hurns</span></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Allen Hurns could really be a diamond in the rough for the Packers. In 2015, Hurns had a crazy performance: 1,031 yards, 16.1 YPC, and 10 receiving touchdowns. I believe Rodgers could honestly make Hurns an 800+ yard WR next season and he would be the second WR that Rodgers has brought back from the dead (of course, Randall Cobb is the other). </p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Allen Hurns double move leaves Malcolm Butler in the dust <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/TENvsDAL?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#TENvsDAL</a> <a href="https://t.co/uYrutHZhry">pic.twitter.com/uYrutHZhry</a></p>&mdash; Justin Graver (@titansfilmroom) <a href="https://twitter.com/titansfilmroom/status/1059635601425584128?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">November 6, 2018</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Trade for Brandin Cooks</span></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If the Packers strike out on Hilton/Fuller and they don&#8217;t want to sign an underproductive wideout in recent memory, they need to get creative to find a blistering fast WR. The Texans may not want to ship out their best player in Brandin Cooks, but the Packers could potentially send HOU a second-round pick and a 2023 third-round pick for him. Cooks is coming off back-to-back 1,000+ yard seasons with a dreadful Texans offense. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
