We’re excited to release our updated week 13 fantasy football rankings below. Week 13 in the NFL is a bye-heavy week with six total teams who are not playing (Bills, Bears, Raiders, Vikings, Giants Ravens). It’s likely your fantasy team will need to be tweaked so rankings become more important than ever. Before you dive into our fantasy football rankings let’s first go over some of the key injuries in week 13.

Amari Cooper – Cooper is dealing with an injury to the ribs and as of now, it doesn’t look serious. X-rays came back negative which is a good sign moving forward. Still sore ribs can be tough to deal with so it’s important to monitor Cooper throughout the week.

Chris Olave – Olave left the week 12 contest with a concussion and did not return. He is also dealing with a hand injury that is worth monitoring. Concussions are always tricky to come back from the next week so be sure to follow any updates on Olave.

Dallas Goedert – Goedert missed last week’s battle with the Bills due to a forearm injury. Early reports suggest Goedert is pushing to play in week 13 vs. the 49ers. That would be a big boost to the Eagles offense which will need all their weapons against the stout San Francisco defense.

Welcome to the first Sunday of football, all is right with the world again. Sitting on the couch for 10 hours straight is never more exciting when there’s football involved. Of course now with football comes fantasy, and with all of your season long fantasy drafts completed, you might still have the itch to draft a team. Open up that FanDuel or DraftKings app and take a look at the board. Below you will find may favorite DFS plays for week 1.

Quarterbacks

QB Derek Carr $5300
Derek Carr plays against the Titans today whom were 29th in the league in fantasy points to opposing QBs last year. Allowing 274.8 YPG through the air, ranking dead last at 32nd this Titans team didn’t do a whole lot to improve their secondary. They are great up front as they were the number 1 defense against the run last year. Carr is my favorite stack play of the day.

QB Justin Herbert $6900
This game has the highest over under of any game on the slate today. Two high powered offenses with a whole lot of talent, and two defenses while boasting many talented players, do give up a lot of points. Dolphins gave up 23.2 PPG while the Chargers gave up 22.7. Herbert could be in line for a QB1 performance as the Dolphins were 30th in the league last year in fantasy points per game allowed to QBs.

Dart Throws at QB
Desmond Ridder/Baker Mayfield $4900
If you’re looking to play a lot of high priced studs, I can see either of these guys throwing for 2 TDs today.

Running Backs

RB JK Dobbins $6600
Finally healthy with a lot more weapons on the outside will mean that Dobbins will be in an excellent position to succeed. He should see less men in the box as there is more attention paid to the pass catchers in this offense. Dobbins also gets a juicy opportunity against the team that allowed the most rushing yards(170.2) and fantasy points(28.5) to RB per game last year in the Houston Texans.

RB Raheem Mostert $5400
The Chargers allowed 144.2 YPG on the ground last year as they were one of three teams to give up over 2000 yards last year. With Jeff Wilson Jr going on IR the only competition he will really have in the backfield will be rookie Devin Achane. He could be in line for a 100 yard game with a TD.

RB Brian Robinson Jr $5100
The Cardinals are going to be bad this year, and not in the good way. They ranked 29th in fantasy points against RBs as they gave up a lot of over 100 receptions to RBs last year. I expect a huge day in check downs on top of his work on the ground.

Dart Throws at RB
Devin Achane $4900
AJ Dillon $5200
Gus Edwards $4500

Wide Receivers

WR Chris Olave $6500
If Derek Carr is going to dice up this defense, I want to stack him with Olave. As bad as the Titans were against the QB last year, they were the worst against the WR in fantasy, ranking 32nd. I expect multiple Saints receivers to be celebrating in the end zone today, Olave has the best chance at topping 100 yards as well.

WR Justin Jefferson $8800
He was the number 1 player drafted in fantasy for a reason, he’s the highest salaried player for a reason. If you’re playing him, you’re going to need a lot of value plays to match him up. Not much else to say here, he’s amazing.

WR Keenan Allen $7300
I’m expecting a huge bounce back season from Allen as he and Herbert continue to grow their connection. Great matchup to start as Allen should see somewhere near 12 targets today, and a few of those in the red zone.

Dart Throws at WR
Drake London $5400
Michael Thomas $5100
Could see either of these guys in the end zone today.

Tight Ends

TE TJ Hockenson $5900
After trading for Hockenson last year, he quickly became one of Kirk Cousin’s favorite targets. The number two to JJ, in a very solid matchup, Buccaneers ranked 29th against TEs last year. I could see a double digit target number with a TD for Hock today.

TE Greg Dulcich $4000
Sean Payton loves his TE in the red zone, but Dulcich is a solid route runner with above average athleticism. He should have a great year in this system and I would look for him to have a solid return on a low price point today.

TE Logan Thomas $3200
These are the kind of values you need to play other than the higher priced studs. The cliche is a young QB needs a good TE to get the ball out quickly, and I believe the cliche will ring true today. I expect a 8 target day for Logan Thomas and wouldn’t be surprised to see him score.

Dart Throw at TE
Taysom Hill $3700
He could throw a pass, run the ball, and catch the ball. Taysom Hill is the Ultimate Dart Throw.

Defense/ST

D/ST Washington $2800
The Commanders are a better defense than they get credit for. They can pressure the QB and create turnovers. Big upside play.

D/ST Baltimore $4000
Highest defense on the slate, if you have the money left over, don’t be afraid to spend it on the Ravens.

D/ST Eagles $3700
Sacks, sacks, sacks, and of course sacks.

Optimal lineup
QB Derek Carr
RB Brian Robinson Jr
RB JK Dobbins
WR Chris Olave
WR Michael Thomas
WR Keenan Allen
Flex Raheem Mostert
TE TJ Hockenson
D/ST Washington Commanders

Good Luck everyone, I’ll see you out there. Let’s make that money.

It’s Derek Carr season in the Bayou. Carr is the new face of the New Orleans Saints after signing a 4-year deal this offseason. He will now get the fresh start he desired after the Las Vegas Raiders released him in February. On paper, this seems like the ideal scenario for Carr. The Saints have an ascending defense and young, exciting weapons on offense. Will the move to Carr pay off for the Saints? Find out below as we offer a record prediction for the 2023-2024 season.

The Good

We knew Ohio State wide receiver Chris Olave had all the tools to be special at the next level. We didn’t know he was going to be this good this fast. Olave had an impressive rookie season with the Saints where he had 1000+ receiving yards despite sub-par quarterback play. He was extremely efficient and for the most part, was the Saints WR1 even though he was a rookie. Olave had a 25% target share in the Saints offense which showed he was a huge part of their gameplan.

Embed from Getty Images

Olave will now get the chance to play alongside Michael Thomas who is coming back after missing most of the 2022 season. If Thomas can regain his old form these two receivers could be a deadly combination for Derek Carr and the passing game.

The Bad

The main weakness on this Saints team will be the offensive line. Trevor Penning takes over the LT position after playing limited snaps in 2022. Elsewhere C Erik McCoy should have another solid season as he has been one of the strengths of this line. There are questions though at the RG position as Cesar Ruiz hasn’t quite panned out the way they hoped. The bottom line is if the unit struggles it could really limit what the Saints do on offense. Carr still has some mobility but he is losing some pace as he gets older.

The Prediction

If you look at the Saints schedule it has to be one easiest in the NFL. They have many favorable matchups including opposing quarterbacks they will face. The toughest quarterback they play this season will be Trevor Lawrence and that’s a home game. I see the Saints winning the NFC South as Derek Carr has a successful first year in New Orleans.

What is Drake London’s Dynasty Outlook in 2023 and Beyond?

Drake London had all the hype coming out of USC. He was drafted 8th overall by the Atlanta Falcons in the 2022 NFL Draft and was the first wide receiver selected. Even though the Falcons already had Kyle Pitts they were lacking a true star receiver. They pounced on London hoping he would be the answer. In terms of fantasy, his pre-draft ranking was #27 WR according to FantasyPros ECR. London ended up with 142.6 FP (Half PPR) and played in all 17 games. Let’s take a more in-depth look at how to handle Drake London dynasty shares going forward.

2022

London had a strong debut game against the New Orleans Saints. He tallied 74 yards on 5 receptions. He also had 7 targets which shows the Falcons were game-planning to get him the ball. Although he didn’t score in his debut, London showed the NFL game was not too big for him. Next up the Falcons went on the road against Los Angeles Rams. London had another strong outing and this time hit paydirt for the first receiving touchdown of his career. He finished the game with 20.6 FP which was his highest output all season.

.@DrakeLondon_ scores his first career touchdown! #DirtyBirds

?: #ATLvsLAR on FOX
?: Stream on NFL+ https://t.co/bM69Jy3G4O pic.twitter.com/ELE4lzlAWQ
— NFL (@NFL) September 18, 2022

Drake London scored once again the following week against the Seattle Seahawks although he only had 3 receptions on the day. After the Seahawks game, London’s production plummeted. He went six games without a touchdown and this caused many fantasy owners to lose faith in him. Fortunately, London picked up momentum toward the end of the season. In his final game, he had 120 yards receiving which was the highest of the year.

2023

First off there are two things I love about Drake London going into next year. One is his durability as he played in all 17 games for the Falcons. The other is his target share. He was third in total targets (117) only behind Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson. The problem is consistency at the quarterback position. Is Desmond Ridder the guy? Or could Taylor Heinicke take over the reins? Either way, the Falcons QB position has me worried about London going forward.

Drake London’s Dynasty Value

Where do I rank Drake London’s dynasty value for next season? I have him in the Hold category for now. There is a lot to like about his usage in the Falcons offense. Having said that, he only had 4 touchdowns on the year despite not missing any games. Let’s wait and see how the quarterback position shakes out this summer before we make any moves on London.

What is Jahan Dotson’s Dynasty Outlook in 2023 and Beyond?

Jahan Dotson was somewhat of a wildcard going into last season. Dotson was receiving plenty of buzz inside the Washington Commanders camp. Outside of that most of the NFL world was focused on Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson in terms of 1st round wide receivers. As for pre-draft rankings, Dotson was #29 WR according to FantasyPros ECR and he ended up with 113.1 FP (Half PPR). Dotson missed 5 games due to a hamstring injury that hampered his production. Let’s take a closer look at Jahan Dotson dynasty shares going forward.

2022

Unlike some other rookies we have profiled here, Dotson wasted no time making his mark. In week 1 against the Jacksonville Jaguars he finished with 2 touchdowns including an impressive game-winner. On the day Dotson finished with 16.5 FP and 40 yards receiving. Dotson kept his touchdown streak going when the Commanders visited the Detroit Lions in week 2. He scored on a nasty juke move that made space for Carson Wentz to fit in a tight throw. One thing that sticks out right away with Dotson on film is his route-running ability. He is very shifty and often leaves defenders flat-footed.

In the week 4 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, Dotson flashed his route-running ability again scoring a touchdown in the corner of the endzone. Unfortunately not long after he went down with a hamstring injury that led to him missing some time.

In his return from the hamstring injury Dotson was eased back into the gameplan slowly. He put up minimal numbers in his first three games back. In week 13 against the New York Giants Dotson made his mark again. He caught a grab over the middle and used an impressive spin move on his way to the game-tying score.

That spin move ? @JahanDotson

?: #WASvsNYG on FOX
?: Stream on NFL+ https://t.co/OXYVVHbGn9 pic.twitter.com/3kJ9Gp0cp5
— NFL (@NFL) December 4, 2022

2023

Going into next year there are some key questions to ask in terms of Dotson. The first of which is how well will he mesh with Sam Howell. If it’s any indication Dotson and Howell showed some chemistry in the final game of the year against the Cowboys. Despite limited targets and just 35 receptions on the year Dotson still finished with 7 touchdowns. He had an 18.9% TD rate according to PlayerProfiler which was good for 14th best in the league. Consistency at the quarterback position will be key for Dotson going forward.

Jahan Dotson’s Dynasty Value

Where do I rank Jahan Dotson’s dynasty value for next year? I am still high on Dotson’s ability and his production will only go up. The key is how well Dotson and Howell progress in new Offensive Coordinator Eric Bieniemy’s system. Bieniemy coming in to run the Commanders offense is a huge x-factor. He will find creative ways to get Dotson more involved and increase his target share. For now, Dotson is a HOLD for me going into the 2023 NFL season.

It’s easy to remember household names as they will be the early picks in your fantasy draft. However, in case of bad draft picks in the early rounds, the middle to late-round picks are just as valuable. Incoming sophomores are often the key to your flex or superflex positions. Let’s discuss the sophomores who will make the leap in fantasy next season.

BREECE HALL RB NEW YORK JETS

Breece Hall was poised to be the Offensive Rookie of the Year. That came to a halt in Week 7 against the Broncos when he tore his ACL. In just seven games, he ran for 463 yards and four TDs. His production and potential were seen by many. With the addition of Aaron Rodgers on the team, the Jets are a feared team in the AFC. Breece Hall will make them a legitimate contender and be one of the biggest winners with the new QB in town.

KENNY PICKETT QB PITTSBURGH STEELERS

As the season progressed, his growth was noticeable even if the stats weren’t as supportive. He led the Steelers to game-winning drives and look poised in big moments. He finished the season with 2404 yards, seven TDs, and nine interceptions. With another year in training camp, he is poised to have a better sophomore season. He is most likely a late-round QB or in the waivers. He is worth keeping tabs on.

Now, Penny is in the Eagles which opens Walker with many more reps. The Seahawks added pieces on offense and are looking to build upon their surprise season last year. Kenneth Walker ran for 1050 yards and nine TDs in his rookie season. The numbers are expected to go up in year two, even if they drafted Zach Charbonnet in round two.

CHRIS OLAVE WR NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

Olave somehow was able to gather 72 receptions and 1042 yards with four TDs. In his second year, he’ll have a stabilized QB in Derek Carr.
Who are the best sleeper WRs heading into Week 3?

By: Jake Rajala

The Fantasy Football world is more exhilarating than the artificial space station on Treasure Planet. In particular, there has been a plethora of superb performances from the WR position. With that said, I’m going to take a fun angle by untwining five sleeper WRs heading into Week 3. Let’s begin.

Favorite bit in Treasure Planet is when they pan out to the moon and you realize it's not a moon, it's a fucking SPACE STATION and you wanna live in that universe pic.twitter.com/oPXKu4SwkV
— Dragon Cobolt ? (@DragonCobolt) February 12, 2020

Cole Beasley

The new Tampa Bay Buccaneer Cole Beasley will look to break the will of opponents will the GOAT (Tom Brady). I don’t believe that the former Buffalo Bill is washed up. He’s coming off a season in career-high targets (112), while obtaining a modest 693 receiving yards. Beasley should certainly be involved against the Green Bay Packers with Mike Evans out of the line-up.

Chris Olave

It may REALLY be worth trading for the Saints polarizing rookie WR Chris Olave. He is coming off a whopping 13 targets in Week 2 while catching 80 yards. I expect him to only continue to garner attention deep down the field — while defenses focus on a healthy Michael Thomas. Jeff Bell of the Football Guys nicely noted that he doesn’t believe that there is a better buy in fantasy football than Chris Olave.

Chris Olave vs. AJ Terrell at the bottom of the screen pic.twitter.com/Z0U9pYe3P1
— Nate Tice (@Nate_Tice) September 12, 2022

Joshua Palmer

The Los Angeles Chargers WR Joshua Palmer is trying to climb out of the shadow, also known as the Keenan Allen and Mike Williams spotlight. Palmer nicely hauled in a touchdown from his potential MVP QB Justin Herbert in Week 2. The man that shares a birthday with me (Sept. 22) could have a very bright career with the Chargers as a WR3 and potentially WR2 (as Keenan Allen is already 30 years old). He is owned in 41% of ESPN leagues.

JUSTIN HERBERT TO JOSHUA PALMER ON 4TH & GOAL FOR A CHARGERS TOUCHDOWN ?

LA now trails by 3 late in the 4thpic.twitter.com/PfAo9S8C2K
— ClutchPoints (@ClutchPointsApp) September 16, 2022

Garrett Wilson

I pinned Garrett Wilson (owned in 26% of Yahoo leagues and 70% of ESPN leagues) as a waiver wire pick-up entering Week 3. It’s important to reiterate the rise of the Jets WR. He ousted an incredible performance against the Cleveland Browns: 102 yds and 2 TDs. Wilson is undoubtedly a top OROY candidate at this very early point in 2022.

Garrett Wilson NASTY

Completely united from head-to-toe on the inside fake.
Thrashes his opponent without ever touching him.
An absolute masterpiece. pic.twitter.com/AQ4QRBWLxp
— JetPack Galileo (@JetPackGalileo) September 20, 2022

Elijah Moore

It may be Garrett Wilson szn, but Elijah Moore can be an x-factor in the Jets offense. Andrew Erickson of Fantasy Pros stated that Moore was third in targets in Week 2 and fifth in targets in Week 1. Besides having crisp route running ability, Moore also benefits from the attention that Corey Davis and Wilson garner. After Flacco tossed four passing touchdowns in Week 2, I blatantly love the direction of the Jets passing offense – which may sound strange.

Something that was very, very obvious breaking down the Garrett Wilson tape:

Elijah Moore gets open a TON.

GDub video dropping tonight #Jets pic.twitter.com/V8lC5P0AMY
— Luke Grant (@LukeGrant7) September 20, 2022

Honorable Mention:

Cedrick Wilson Jr.

Cedrick Wilson Jr. may be a bit of a deep sleeper at WR, but it should be stated that he’s going to soon be healthy (after leaving the game in Week 2) and playing with a Phins QB named Tua that dropped six passing touchdowns in Week 2. It’s clear that Dolphins have the NFL’s best WR duo. I suspect that Wilson Jr. will repeatedly thrive with his match-ups in the 2022 season.

Why the Saints should trade Taysom Hill now

By: Jake Rajala

The Rudy-like football player Taysom Hill has been inspiring and lethal in his football career, to say the least. He has been effective on special teams, offense, defense, and probably on the sidelines. Nonetheless, his well-rounded ability has been narrowed down this off-season.

In 2022, Dennis Allen, also not known as Taysom Hill’s favorite head coach, is only requesting that Hill partakes in pass-catching plays. The former BYU signal-caller registered 234 receiving yards in 2019, 98 receiving yards in 2020, & then unveiled 52 receiving yards in 2021.

A Taysom Hill touchdown reception has been injected into my veins pic.twitter.com/HiRde7g6a0
— John Hendrix (@JohnJHendrix) September 10, 2019

It should be known that Hill hasn’t exactly been a consistent threat from the TE position and that Hill is an aging tight end (31 years old). The Saints also have many more superior receiving weapons than Hill. Hence, that is a pivotal reason why I believe the Saints should capitalize on the remaining value that Hill possesses (before he is a 33-year-old jack of all trades) and ship him out now. The Saints carry a hungry and upset Michael Thomas (also known as the 2019 OPOY) at WR, the rookie Chris Olave – who recently hauled in a touchdown in pre-season, the slot legend Jarvis Landry, an un-suspended Alvin Kamara in 2022, and even the ascending Adam Trautman at TE. The Saints weaponry is impressive and a massive improvement from last season.

"I know when I'm at my best, I can be one of the best in the league."

–@chrisolave_ pic.twitter.com/7vEUN9xiHL
— New Orleans Saints (@Saints) August 21, 2022

Besides the Saints carrying their best group of weapons in a long-time, the Saints also have a strong QB group. The Saints have the big-arm QB and aspiring CPOY Jameis Winston, the Red Rifle in Andy Dalton, and the second-year QB Ian Book – who had a potent performance against the Green Bay Packers. There shouldn’t be any emergency situation where Hill needs to be inserted at QB.

Hill has been stripped away from the QB title and I believe it’s time to finally remove the passionate, slightly overvalued TE in 2022. In the Sean Payton-less era, it may be best to trade away the player that doesn’t have close to a Steve Young-like ceiling for a late-round draft pick.

AJ Dillon is the top flex sleeper

By: Christian Esparza

As your fantasy draft begins to wind down and your starting roster is filled, you want to go after players that can play a variety of roles for you. The flex position is unique in that it can generally be filled by a running back, wide receiver, or a tight end. This gives you maximum flexibility when bye weeks and injuries come up, allowing you to generally put the best skill players into your lineup.

These are the five biggest flex sleepers in 2022:

AJ Dillon and Tony Pollard may win you a title this year.

Both play on teams with limited WR rooms.

They'll each feature prominently in their respective offenses.

I think their premium price is worth it for the upside.
— Frank Ammirante (@FAmmiranteTFJ) August 19, 2022

AJ Dillon, running back ”“ Green Bay Packers (ADP 107)

If you listen to any one thing I have to say this year, it needs to be this. AJ Dillon is one of the best values in all of fantasy football right now. In 2021, Dillon posted over 1,100 yards from scrimmage and seven total touchdowns, and there is reason to believe both of those numbers will be higher this season.

With the Packers trading away Davante Adams and not having a star receiver for Aaron Rodgers to throw to, it is looking like both Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon will see a lot more work. Jones is likely to see snaps as a slot receiver, which means Dillon will see more time in the backfield. Rodgers even recently said he thinks 50 catches each for Jones and Dillon is “realistic.”

Additionally, Dillon is the primary redzone and goal line back for the Packers. He and his quads should have plenty of opportunity to plow into the endzone. The Packers love what AJ “Quadzilla” Dillon has to offer, and you should too. Take Dillon in the eighth round and reap the benefits.

Chris Olave, wide receiver ”“ New Orleans Saints (Rookie, ADP 124)

Olave was the 11th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft and joins a Saints team that was on the cusp of playoff contention last season. Michael Thomas is a huge unknown at this point, but Olave should still see a lot of targets even if Thomas is healthy. Olave was regarded as one of the best route runners in his draft class and will immediately provide quarterback Jameis Winston with a lethal weapon in the slot. Olave also offers upside as a downfield threat with nice 4.39 speed. He has a chance to be the most productive rookie receiver in 2022.

Chase Edmonds, running back ”“ Miami Dolphins (ADP 120)

Edmonds spent the first four years of his career in Arizona, and will now play in Miami after signing there in free agency. He was one of three running backs that the Dolphins brought in, with Raheem Mostert and Sony Michel joining him.

The interesting thing is, there is a chance that all three backs have a role cutout for them under new Head Coach Mike McDaniel. Look deeper though and you will realize a few things: First, Edmonds signed a two-year $12 million dollar deal. Even his yearly average of $6 million a year is more than Mostert and Michel combined. Second, Edmonds was one of the first running backs to sign a deal in free agency. It can be implied that the Dolphins clearly have a role cut out for Edmonds. He currently has an average draft position of 120 according to ESPN. That’s a good price for a player that should eclipse 1,000 total yards in 2022.

It blows my mind how Chase Edmonds is still going as the RB30 in Rounds 7-8 of drafts.

The lead RB on a Mike McDaniel 49ers-style Miami Dolphins offense, who offer this kind of receiving upside too.

Yet still RB30?!pic.twitter.com/pkRxgX7jAE
— Matt FF Dynasty ? (@MattFFDynasty) August 19, 2022

Jakobi Meyers, wide receiver ”“ New England Patriots (ADP 137)

Meyers scored double-digit fantasy points in nine of games played in 2021, a season in which he only scored two total touchdowns. His 83 catches on 126 targets for 866 yards were all team-highs for the Patriots. It will be interesting to see how the addition of Davante Parker will impact Meyers’s production, but Meyers has the advantage of already having chemistry with quarterback Mac Jones. Parker will likely take a lot of the red zone targets in New England, which will not really be an issue for Meyers anyways. If you need a solid bench player that can step in and be your flex when needed, Meyers is worth consideration.

George Pickens, wide receiver ”“ Pittsburgh Steelers (Rookie, ADP 154)

Pickens has made waves in recent weeks as one of those dudes that just “has that dawg in him.” Pickens has been making waves across the fantasy community all summer as he has consistently made plays throughout Pittsburgh’s training camp. In the Steelers’ first preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks, Pickens caught three balls for 43 yards and a touchdown.

While at the University of Georgia, Pickens was known for being a big and strong receiver that can win jump balls and physically dominate most corners. Had he not missed most of the 2021 college season due to a torn ACL, Pickens likely would have been one of the first receivers drafted. Instead, he fell to the second round and was the 11th receiver taken in the draft. There is a lot of hype surrounding George Pickens right now, and you should capitalize on it immediately.

Who has the most underrated WR group?

By: Jake Rajala

The New Orleans Saints wide receiver room wasn’t imposing by any means last season. The former OPOY winner Michael Thomas didn’t even touch the field, so the Saints were essentially left to lean on young, undeveloped wideouts to scrape for prominence in the Drew Brees-less era. Marquez Callaway led the Saints in receiving yards last season with 698 yards. With that stated, I believe the Saints should feel a lot more confident with their shiny WR room in 2022.

Cantguardmike is finally healthy and seeking vengeance. The Saints traded up to draft another Ohio State WR in Chris Olave. Olave ran an official 4.39 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine. If fans were excited about Winston’s ability to connect with the speed-demon Deonte Harris (who had 15.8 YPC), they will be blown away by how productive the explosive and smooth rookie should be with defenses focused on MT.

Chris Olave and Jameis Winston are going to be a fun duo to watch this year ? pic.twitter.com/ohHpuUNZU4
— NFL Rookie Watch (@NFLRookieWatxh) July 1, 2022

The Saints also brought Jarvis Landry back home this off-season. Landry made five straight Pro Bowls from 2015 to 2019. He wasn’t a quality WR amid the demise of Baker Mayfield last season, but he did oust 72 receptions and 840 yds in 2020. He also earned a superb 84.1 grade by PFF in 2020. The 29-year-old can certainly be an elite slot weapon for at least a couple of more seasons.

My favorite play by Jarvis Landry as a member of the #Browns. Good luck Juice! pic.twitter.com/gRiceaSyCx
— John (@JohnHillbery) March 14, 2022

It’s obvious that the Saints have a fantastic WR trio and they should feel comfortable with their WR4 and WR5 that had their feet wet last season. Furthermore, I believe the Saints easily have the most underrated WR group in the league.

Thomas may be an unpopular figure on Twitter, but he is capable of being the WR that averaged roughly 86 yards per game with Taysom Hill on a four-game stretch at the very least. He may not have the most accurate QB in NFL history, but Winston will offer positives (such as arm strong) that weren’t available with Brees. Nick Underhill, who is a whiz of Saints coverage, boldly stated that a healthy MT could be the best thing that’s happened to the Saints this off-season.

I really believe the fact that MT is disrespected hinders the Saints WR group ranking. PFF ranked the Saints WR room as the 14th best WR unit (after the likes of Denver and Seattle). Yardbarker had a slightly more optimistic angle than PFF — as they pegged the Saints WR group as the 8th best WR group. I believe a logical place for the Saints WR group is around the 5th spot. I believe Thomas, who has made positive strides throughout the off-season, to be healthy and a consistent top-tier play-maker. Most importantly, I do expect that the Saints have a strong game plan for the OSU WR that was traded up for. I expect the combination of the ceiling of MT and Olave with a reliable Landry to honestly unveil to be at least a Top-5 WR unit in 2022.
