<p class="wp-block-paragraph">By the end of the upcoming NFL season, the AFC South will probably be the youngest in terms of the QBs that could be leading their teams. Three rookie QBs and a generational talent will lead their teams in this division. Most likely, a lot of people won&#8217;t focus on this division as much nationally due to the lack of big-time names. However, this doesn&#8217;t excuse us from looking at potential fantasy sleepers per team.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Houston Texans: WR Robert Woods (ADP 223.8)</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/search/search.fcgi?pid=WoodRo02,WoodRo21,WoodRo00&amp;amp;search=Robert+Woods&amp;amp;utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-05-26_pfr">Robert Woods</a> is on his second team in two years as he tries to revitalize his career. When he was with the Rams, he was very consistent and made life easy for <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/G/GoffJa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;amp;utm_campaign=2023-05-26_pfr">Jared Goff</a>. His mission now is to help C.J. Stroud thrive. He is currently the top WR in the Texans. Look for Stroud to focus on him especially at the start in order to get a rhythm and to get acclimated to the NFL. His ADP of 223.8 is ridiculous for someone of his talent.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Here’s a look at Robert Woods, the Texans’ major WR addition in free agency. He’s entering his second full season after a 2021 ACL tear. <a href="https://t.co/tBWUauTFv5">pic.twitter.com/tBWUauTFv5</a></p>&mdash; Brooks Kubena (@BKubena) <a href="https://twitter.com/BKubena/status/1661027505816346624?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">May 23, 2023</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Indianapolis Colts: WR Alec Pierce (ADP 188.1)</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">For the Indianapolis Colts, I&#8217;m looking at <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/P/PierAl00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-05-26_pfr">Alec Pierce</a>. As a rookie last season, he had his moments such as scoring 18.6 FP against the Cowboys and 15.1 FP against the Broncos. What makes him stand out is his 15 deep targets as the other Colts WRs only had 18 total deep targets. With Anthony Richardson having a cannon of an arm, Alec Pierce could benefit from the deep throws with the rookie QB.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">POST ? <a href="https://twitter.com/alecpierce?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@alecpierce</a> <br>&#8211;<br>1?? 1-STEP RELEASE &#8211; Dancing is for TikTok <br><br>? STACK &#8211; Do NOT drift inside to where there is safety help. </div></figure>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Jacksonville Jaguars: WR Christian Kirk (ADP 82.9)</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/K/KirkCh01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-05-26_pfr">Christian Kirk</a> had a career year last season when he caught 84 passes for 1108 yards and eight TDs. His year helped the Jaguars have a successful season and make Jacksonville look like an elite contender for years to come. Currently, he is slated at ADP 82.9 which is a steal for what he can do. Even with <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/R/RidlCa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;amp;utm_campaign=2023-05-26_pfr">Calvin Ridley</a> coming in, <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/L/LawrTr00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;amp;utm_campaign=2023-05-26_pfr">Trevor Lawrence</a> will still pass the ball around. Christian Kirk will overcome his ADP again.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Christian Kirk and Stefon Diggs led all WR in red zone TDs last year (7) <a href="https://t.co/HTTnou4yn2">pic.twitter.com/HTTnou4yn2</a></p>&mdash; B/R Gridiron (@brgridiron) <a href="https://twitter.com/brgridiron/status/1659321132913414145?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">May 18, 2023</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Tennessee Titans: QB Will Levis (ADP 137.9)</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">We&#8217;ve all seen the tape that he&#8217;s throwing the ball well in camps and looks like a steal. Let&#8217;s hold our horses first. He&#8217;s still very raw and <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/T/TannRy00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;amp;utm_campaign=2023-05-26_pfr">Ryan Tannehill</a> is still the guy for the Titans. Now I expect Will Levis to get some run depending on Tennessee&#8217;s record. This makes him intriguing especially in dynasty leagues if you need a QB. The fans will be calling for him if the Titans look bad. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Will Levis SLINGING it at Titans OTA’s ?<br><br>Levis’ deep ball has reportedly “stood out” early into OTA’s.<br><br>The Titans rookie QB is putting PRESSURE on the rest of the current QB room in Tennessee. <a href="https://t.co/dH6AJn0XZq">pic.twitter.com/dH6AJn0XZq</a></p>&mdash; NFL Rookie Watch (@NFLRookieWatxh) <a href="https://twitter.com/NFLRookieWatxh/status/1661481294075957251?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">May 24, 2023</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Welcome to our new feature where we recap a particular player’s journey in the 2022-2023 NFL Fantasy Football Season. This article features preseason expectations, draft expectations, overall season production, and critical moments. We will do this for all 32 teams by highlighting a player per team.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>PRESEASON EXPECTATIONS</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">After a rocky season, <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/L/LawrTr00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-04-06_pfr">Trevor Lawrence</a> was hoping for a fresh start, especially with a new head coach. The Jaguars did add some talent for him to progress him even more. People were still high on the prodigious sophomore.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Trevor Lawrence without Urban Meyer <a href="https://t.co/icFLfd7kNz">pic.twitter.com/icFLfd7kNz</a></p>&mdash; Memes (@PardonMyMeme) <a href="https://twitter.com/PardonMyMeme/status/1574170029033144321?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">September 25, 2022</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>DRAFT EXPECTATIONS</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Trevor was the 18th QB taken and picked usually around the 6th-7th round. At this time of the draft, you&#8217;re hoping for him to break out. This would be of good value especially if he did take the next step.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>OVERALL SEASON PRODUCTION</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">His sophomore season was what many of us expected of him. Trevor Lawrence bounced back from a nightmare first year to looking like the generational QB prospect he was labeled early on. He threw for 4113 yards and 25 TDs while only throwing eight interceptions. In the running game, he ran in for five touchdowns as well. This performance gave him the eighth-best ranking for QBs and the 16th overall player. His third season could bump him up with the elite quarterbacks in the NFL.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>CRITICAL MOMENTS DURING THE SEASON</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Week 3 vs Los Angeles Chargers</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">After a pedestrian start to the season, Trevor Lawrence went off in the Week 3 matchup against the Chargers. He threw for 262 yards and three TDs in the 28-point win. He connected with <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/J/JoneZa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-04-06_pfr">Zay Jones</a> for a 14-yard TD in the first quarter. </div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Week 14 vs Tennessee Titans</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">With the playoffs still in sight, the Jaguars went to Tennessee and stole a victory over the Titans. In his best game of the season, Trevor threw for 368 yards and three TDs. He connected with <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/E/EngrEv00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-04-06_pfr">Evan Engram</a> for a couple of TDs and he sneaked in one in what turned out to be the start of an immaculate run for Jacksonville. He had a season-high 33.42 FP and QB 1.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Week 15 vs Dallas Cowboys</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Another big game happened the week after when Dallas visited Jacksonville. Trevor was still hot from last week with 27/42 passing for 318 yards and four TDs. Zay Jones was the main beneficiary with three TDs and the Jaguars won on a pick-6 in overtime. Things were looking bright for the Jaguars.</p>

<h1 class="wp-block-heading">The latest outlook for the Jaguars WRs</h1>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">By: Jake Rajala</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Jacksonville Jaguars inked the wide receiver Christian Kirk this off-season and it&#8217;s clear that he&#8217;s impressed big figures in the building up to this point. After Trevor Lawrence praised the former AZ Cardinals WR, Doug Pedersen spoke highly of Kirk, per <a href="https://www.si.com/nfl/jaguars/news/christian-kirk-positive-impression-doug-pederson">SI</a>. He stated, &#8220;He&#8217;s come in, he&#8217;s really one of the guys that guys that&#8217;s been here learning and picking up the offense.&#8221;</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Kirk was a slight disappointment in his first three seasons, but he really blossomed in his fourth season. He had a career-high 77 receptions and a personal best of 982 yards last season. He will seemingly be the second (or third) most productive pure pass-catching weapon in Jacksonville. I expect Marvin Jones Jr. (who signed with the team the last off-season) to build stronger chemistry and unveil more success with his second-year QB. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Kirk will join a Jags WR room that boasts Laviska Shenault Jr, Zay Jones, and TE/WR Evan Engram. Shenault Jr. has been a modest WR, as he ousted 600+ yards in each of the past two seasons. Jones was an underrated addition and he recorded 546 yds (including a few big catches) for Derek Carr last season. Evan Engram (Pro Bowler in 2020) was a smart pick-up by Pedersen and he should finally show his true ability in Jacksonville. The former Eagles HC will use him in a similar way that he utilized Zach Ertz in Philly. It should also be noted that his QB has been a noticeably rough Daniel Jones (21 passing touchdowns in the past two seasons combined). </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The 2021 rookie QB in Jacksonville ranked 17th in passing yards last season and 28th in passing touchdowns a season ago. It&#8217;s safe to say that Lawrence will significantly benefit from a few new receiving weapons (and a healthy Travis Etienne) and a far more impressive coach next season. </p>

<h1 class="wp-block-heading">Who is the top wide receiver target for the Lions?</h1>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Detroit Lions had an unlimited fighting spirit and never-ending confidence in 2021. They finished 3-13, but they took positive strides with Dan Campbell and it&#8217;s clear they will continue to climb the ladder in 2022. The Lions have the 10th most cap space in the NFL and the second overall pick to help them make a lot of noise this offseason. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">One year as head coach and Dan Campbell has us ready to run through a brick wall still <a href="https://t.co/7llhuhRiNo">pic.twitter.com/7llhuhRiNo</a></p>&mdash; Woodward Sports Network (@woodwardsports) <a href="https://twitter.com/woodwardsports/status/1498781181541761027?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">March 1, 2022</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There are quite a few position groups that need to be improved, outside of the QB situation. I&#8217;d like to see the Lions continue to build around their QB spot. They drafted Penei Sewell in the 2021 Draft and I&#8217;d like to see them build up the OL and weapons around Goff this offseason, as well. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The 2022 NFL free agency is approaching and I&#8217;d love to see them add a free agent wide receiver. Here are a few WR free agent options that would make a ton of sense.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Christian Kirk</span></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Christian Kirk would be a beautiful fit for Detroit and he could like the number of targets he would get in the Motor City. Kirk, who is 25 years young, is coming off a career season in receiving yards (982 yards) and receptions (77). It will be hard for the Cardinals to satisfy his aspirations as they currently have DeAndre Hopkins and Rondale Moore. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">At only 24 years old, are we sure the Cardinals can afford to let Christian Kirk walk after this season? <a href="https://t.co/3L9VXPgZcF">pic.twitter.com/3L9VXPgZcF</a></p>&mdash; Johnny Venerable (@JohnnyVenerable) <a href="https://twitter.com/JohnnyVenerable/status/1457806135398842370?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">November 8, 2021</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Amari Cooper</span></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Amari Cooper will be hard to acquire when he most likely becomes a free agent, but I believe he is the most likely big-name WR to consider signing with the Lions. Cooper is still a very talented WR, but he was overpaid and playing in a stacked Cowboys offense for the past couple of years. Cooper ousted 865 yards and 8 touchdowns last season. The Lions should aim to break the bank for him and convince him they are heading in the right direction, too. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Never forget Amari Cooper dropped 200 yards on a top 2 CB in football. <br> <a href="https://t.co/MAAI1lxQsg">pic.twitter.com/MAAI1lxQsg</a></p>&mdash; ??laiboi???? </div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Zay Jones</span></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Las Vegas Raiders soon to be free agent Zay Jones is one of the biggest underrated gems in the free agent WR pool. The 26-year-old Jones recorded 546 yards in an offense with Darren Waller, Hunter Renfrow, and Desean Jackson last offseason. I believe he has the potential to be an 800+ yard receiver in Detroit. Jones would be a great signing for Detroit with or without a bigger free-agent WR signing.</p>

<h1 class="wp-block-heading">Who is the top free agent wide receiver target for the Colts?</h1>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Indianapolis Colts had the most disappointing Week 18 loss in the NFL, but they can still hold their heads high in 2022. Jonathan Taylor proved to be a gift from the football gods, as he unveiled 1,811 rushing yards and 18 rushing touchdowns in 2021. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Imagine seeing a 225lb Jonathan Taylor run a 4.41 at the NFL combine and then draft Clyde Edwards-Helaire or D’Andre Swift before him <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/tbt?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#tbt</a> <a href="https://t.co/iLe3yfrRo0">pic.twitter.com/iLe3yfrRo0</a></p>&mdash; IKE Badgers Podcast (@IKE_Badgers) <a href="https://twitter.com/IKE_Badgers/status/1499400853991477249?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">March 3, 2022</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Colts had an underperforming QB in Carson Wentz, but they still claimed a 9-8 record last season. It seems likely that they will look to ship out their expensive QB and bring in a more sharp, inspiring signal-caller. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Outside of the pivotal QB situation, the Colts have a major question mark at the WR spot. Their long-time star T.Y. Hilton is a free agent in 2022 and it seems likely that money and fit may not be tempting for him to return. If Hilton leaves Indy, where could the Colts look to replace him? Well, I will outline a few candidates that would be smart replacements for TY. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">T.Y. Hilton is back!<a href="https://t.co/poJfwRRRfd">pic.twitter.com/poJfwRRRfd</a></p>&mdash; Dov Kleiman (@NFL_DovKleiman) <a href="https://twitter.com/NFL_DovKleiman/status/1449793827309502466?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">October 17, 2021</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Marquise Goodwin</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Marquise Goodwin holds a very similar skillset to Hilton, but he will be cheaper and potentially less rusty than Hilton. After all, Hilton wasn&#8217;t magical with his 331 yards in 10 games last season. The Bears speed demon (Goodwin) registered 313 yards in 14 games with the Bears last season. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Goodwin might be known for his Olympic speed, but he can be a serious asset at the WR and KR spots. He could be the x-factor that Frank Reich wants in his Jonathan Taylor-led offense. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Marquise Goodwin has GAS! I think the biggest difference between Goodwin and Tyreek Hill is Hills stop and start is ridiculous. On another level. But straight line speed.. Goodwin is a monster.. look at when he hits the 30 and lifts those knees lol wild <a href="https://t.co/yunPAL694o">pic.twitter.com/yunPAL694o</a></p>&mdash; CROCKPOT?? (@Eric_Crocker) <a href="https://twitter.com/Eric_Crocker/status/1145162297179901952?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">June 30, 2019</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Christian Kirk</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It will be hard for the Colts to sign Christian Kirk, but it might be worth it. He&#8217;s 25 years old and coming off a career season with 77 catches, 982 yards, and 5 touchdowns. Kirk would be a fantastic complement to imposing Michael Pittman Jr. in the WR room for years to come.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Bills have been rumored to target him as a replacement for Emmanual Sanders, but the Colts could prioritize him with their seventh-ranked most cap space in the league.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Christian Kirk is good at this whole football thing.<br><br>He is one of the guys I’m trying to roster before the season starts. <br><br> <a href="https://t.co/sW4Bql8wC4">pic.twitter.com/sW4Bql8wC4</a></p>&mdash; Mitch (@DynoMC) <a href="https://twitter.com/DynoMC/status/1298239771500613632?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">August 25, 2020</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Tavon Austin</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Colts can sign RB/WR/KR Tavon Austin and hope he blossoms late in his career in a similar way that Cordarralle Patterson did with the Atlanta Falcons. Austin wasn&#8217;t helped by Jeff Fisher early in his career, but he could be a nice chess piece in Reich&#8217;s offense. Austin would be the ultimate low-risk high reward signing for the Colts.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">TAVON AUSTIN FROZE HIM.<br><br>(via <a href="https://twitter.com/thecheckdown?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@thecheckdown</a>)<a href="https://t.co/GNM2Ml0Gey">pic.twitter.com/GNM2Ml0Gey</a></p>&mdash; Bleacher Report (@BleacherReport) <a href="https://twitter.com/BleacherReport/status/1186078209856561152?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">October 21, 2019</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
