<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Week 6 is a pivotal point in the fantasy football season. If your team is struggling you&#8217;re not out of it yet but you will need to start stacking some wins. Unfortunately, week 5 featured some high-profile injuries that will shape the rest of the season. <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/ConnJa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-10-11_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">James Conner</a> and <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/J/JeffJu00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-10-11_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Justin Jefferson</a> were put on IR and will be out for at least the next four games. <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/A/AchaDe00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-10-11_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">De&#8217;Von Achane</a> has a knee injury and he may also end up on the IR. Below let&#8217;s highlight some other injuries that will impact the week 6 NFL slate.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/J/JohnRo07.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;amp;utm_campaign=2023-10-11_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Roschon Johnson</a> &#8211;</strong> Johnson left the game against the Washington Commanders with a concussion. His status for week 6 is still uncertain but don&#8217;t be surprised if he sits. The Bears also lost <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/H/HerbKh00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;amp;utm_campaign=2023-10-11_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Khalil Herbert</a> to an ankle injury leaving <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/F/ForeDO00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-10-11_pfr">D&#8217;Onta Foreman</a> as the only healthy back.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/W/WillJa10.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;amp;utm_campaign=2023-10-11_pfr">Javonte Williams</a> &#8211; </strong>Williams missed the week 5 matchup with a quad injury but it looks like he will return Thursday night against the Kansas City Chiefs. Williams practiced in full on Tuesday which is a great sign going forward.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/K/KelcTr00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-10-11_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Travis Kelce</a> &#8211;</strong> Kelce picked up an ankle injury in the week 5 win at Minnesota. He was able to practice on Tuesday but it was in limited fashion. With a quick turnaround and a Thursday night game, Kelce&#8217;s status is certainly up in the air.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><em>Our weekly fantasy football start ’em, sit ’em series features your best bets at the skill positions and players you should avoid. We also include our start of the week for the player who is guaranteed to produce that week. Below is our week 4 edition and as per usual I picked these players based on the Half-PPR scoring system. Be sure to check out our <a href="https://profootballmania.com/fantasy-football-rankings/">fantasy football </a>section for fantasy football advice and much more!</em></p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">Quarterbacks</h4>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Start &#8216;Em</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/W/WilsRu00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-28_pfr">Russell Wilson</a> (@ Chi) &#8211; </strong>Russ hasn&#8217;t exactly been cooking for the Broncos but there are signs of life. Wilson has had back-to-back 300+ yard games and up next is the lowly Chicago Bears. This has breakout game written all over it for the Broncos offense. The Denver defense is still in shambles so this game should go over the current 46-point total. I wouldn&#8217;t be surprised if Wilson targets <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MimsMa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-28_pfr">Marvin Mims</a> Jr. more in this matchup as he has been explosive so far in limited action. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Sit &#8216;Em</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BurrJo01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-28_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Joe Burrow</a> (@ Ten) &#8211; </strong>Burrow just hasn&#8217;t looked like himself thus far and the nagging calf injury is a concern. The entire Bengals offense has been limited due to Burrow&#8217;s inability to throw the ball down the field. Up next is a Titans defense that will force Burrow to throw outside of the pocket. At this point, I would like to see Burrow sit until he is completely healthy. </p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">Running Backs</h4>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Start &#8216;Em</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/A/AchaDe00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-28_pfr">De&#8217;Von Achane</a> (@ Buf) &#8211; </strong>If you were lucky enough to land Achane congratulations, it&#8217;s now time to slide him into your starting lineup. Sure the Dolphins have a ton of options on offense to spread the ball to but it won&#8217;t matter. Achane has shown enough that you can&#8217;t risk keeping him on your bench. I would also start <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MostRa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-28_pfr">Raheem Mostert</a> (my week 3 Start of the Week) as the two combined for 8 total touchdowns last week. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Sit &#8216;Em</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/StevRh00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-28_pfr">Rhamondre Stevenson</a> (@ Dal) &#8211; </strong>Stevenson has yet to eclipse the 60+ rushing yards mark and is averaging just 2.9 yards per attempt. On top of that, <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/E/ElliEz00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-28_pfr">Ezekiel Elliott</a> outperformed Stevenson in week 3 rushing for 80 yards on 16 carries. The Patriots now go on the road against the Cowboys who will be looking to revenge last week&#8217;s loss against the Cardinals.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">Wide Receivers </h4>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Start &#8216;Em</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/R/RidlCa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-28_pfr">Calvin Ridley</a> (vs. Atl) &#8211; </strong>Ridley has been a non-factor in his last two games but that will change in London. Ridley had 15 targets in weeks 2 and 3 but only 5 receptions for 72 yards in that span including some costly drops. Up next is the Atlanta Falcons which will be a revenge game for Ridley. The entire Jaguars offense needs a reset and it&#8217;s a perfect time for them to go overseas. I see <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/L/LawrTr00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-28_pfr">Trevor Lawrence</a> getting some of his 2022 form back on Sunday.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Sit &#8216;Em</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/McLaTe00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-28_pfr">Terry McLaurin</a> (@ Phi) &#8211;</strong> Unfortunately it&#8217;s time to sit McLaurin until we see some better results. This isn&#8217;t a knock on McLaurin more so on the offense who have failed to protect <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/H/HoweSa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-28_pfr">Sam Howell</a>. It&#8217;s hard to justify starting any of the Commanders wide receivers until they get their protection issues fixed. Washington now has to go on the road at Philadelphia and their d-line will be licking their chops. </p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">Tight Ends</h4>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Start &#8216;Em</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/L/LaPoSa01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-28_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Sam LaPorta</a> (@ GB) &#8211; </strong>LaPorta has been one of the surprises of the season so far for the Lions. The rookie tight finished TE1 in week 3 where he hauled in his first NFL touchdowns. He also had 11 targets which shows quarterback <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/G/GoffJa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-28_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Jared Goff</a> is trusting the young tight end. Up next is Green Bay on Thursday night in an old-fashioned NFC North battle.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Sit &#8216;Em</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/N/NjokDa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-28_pfr">David Njoku</a> (vs. Bal) &#8211;</strong> There was hope that Njoku would have a breakout year for the Browns but that hasn&#8217;t panned out yet. He has yet to score thus far and had a season-low 20 receiving yards last week. There are better options to start at the tight end position. Sit Njoku until he can carve out a bigger role. </p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">Start of the Week</h4>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/search/search.fcgi?pid=CookJa01,CookJa20&amp;search=James+Cook&amp;utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-28_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">James Cook</a> (vs. Mia) &#8211;</strong> Cook has yet to hit the endzone this season but that will change on Sunday. He has looked the part for the Bills and is averaging 6.1 yards per carry. Next up is the Miami Dolphins and this one should be a barn burner. The Dolphins are allowing 20.4 fantasy points per game to running backs through the first 3 weeks. Look for a big game from Cook in week 4.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">We&#8217;re already heading into week 4 of the fantasy football season and we now have a good idea of how teams are shaping up. If players have yet to perform on your bench it&#8217;s a good time to drop them in favor of waiver wire targets. This week we have several intriguing players that you should focus on.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">Quarterbacks</h4>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/StroCJ00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-26_pfr">C.J. Stroud</a></strong> &#8211; <strong>(15.5% Owned)</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Stroud is starting to come into his own for the Houston Texans. Houston put up one of the more impressive performances of the week in a blowout win at Jacksonville. Stroud completed 66.67% of his passes and had 2 passing touchdowns in the game. More importantly, he had zero interceptions in the contest. In fact, Stroud has yet to throw a pick this year which is encouraging for a young quarterback. He is now worth picking up and starting if you&#8217;re struggling at the quarterback position.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">Running Backs</h4>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/A/AchaDe00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-26_pfr">De&#8217;Von Achane</a> &#8211; (29.1% Owned)</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Achane will certainly be the #1 waiver wire target this week after an insane 49.3 FP output against the Denver Broncos. It wasn&#8217;t just Achane for the Dolphins, <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MostRa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-26_pfr">Raheem Mostert</a> also went off on a record-setting day for Miami. The question now going forward is if Achane is worth starting. Even in a crowded Dolphins backfield, the answer is yes. Achane has elite-level speed and in that offense, he can take it to the house at any moment.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">Wide Receivers</h4>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/D/DellNa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-26_pfr">Tank Dell</a> &#8211; (28.2% Owned)</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Dell exploded on Sunday for 145 yards and 1 touchdown in the Texans win. He is building a nice chemistry with C.J. Stroud and this Houston offense is looking much better than expected. Dell has had 17 targets in his last 2 starts and is a significant piece in this Texans offense. He is not a one-week wonder, Dell is worth picking up if he is available in your league.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/J/JohnQu02.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-26_pfr">Quentin Johnston</a> &#8211; (39.6% Owned) </strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Johnston has been non-existent in the first three games but that&#8217;s about to change. The Chargers were dealt a blow as <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/search/search.fcgi?pid=WillMi07,WillMi23,WillMi04,WillMi22,WillMi03,WillMi00,WillMi02,WillMi21&amp;amp;search=Mike+Williams&amp;amp;utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-26_pfr">Mike Williams</a> is now out for the season with an ACL injury. It&#8217;s time for Johnston to step into this role as WR2 for Los Angeles. While the production hasn&#8217;t been there yet there will be plenty of opportunities going forward. If you&#8217;re in a deep league, Joshua Palmer is also worth a look. </p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading has-text-align-center">Tight Ends</h4>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MusgLu00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-26_pfr">Luke Musgrave</a> &#8211; (16.2% Owned)</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">While Musgrave has yet to score for Green Bay week 3 he showed some encouraging signs. Musgrave had 6 receptions on 8 targets for 49 yards. He has also played in over 85% of snaps on offense for the Packers the past two weeks. The tight end position is always the trickiest to master in fantasy but this usage is what we like to see. Musgrave is worth stashing on your bench as he continues to develop.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Earlier this morning, news broke that the Minnesota Vikings will be releasing <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/CookDa01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-06-08_pfr">Dalvin Cook</a>. This has been the expected outcome for some time now and we floated the idea back in <a href="https://profootballmania.com/2023/05/18/are-the-vikings-moving-on-from-dalvin-cook/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">May</a>. According to <a href="https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/1666808657659695105" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Adam Schefter</a>, the Vikings will try to trade Cook one more time before a release on Friday. It would be shocking if a team swooped in now and completed a trade but crazier things have happened. Before we look ahead at some landing spots for Dalvin Cook let&#8217;s first look at the fantasy impact.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This is obviously huge news for <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MattAl01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-06-08_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Alexander Mattison</a> as he will finally be the lead back in Minnesota. Mattison has a chance now to finish as a top-tier fantasy running back in 2023. Keep an eye out for our <a href="https://profootballmania.com/fantasy-football-rankings/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">fantasy football rankings</a> as when they are updated you will see a pretty big jump for Mattison. As for Cook, it all depends on where he lands. Let&#8217;s now look at 3 potential suitors for the star running back. </p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Miami Dolphins</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Rumors of Dalvin Cook to the Dolphins have been circulating for months now. The Dolphins have no clear-cut #1 running back and this spot makes the most sense. <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MostRa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-06-08_pfr">Raheem Mostert</a>, <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/W/WilsJe01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-06-08_pfr">Jeff Wilson</a> Jr. and rookie Devon Achane round out the crowded running back room for the Dolphins. Achane was a 3rd round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft so the Dolphins have some investment there. Still, when you have a chance to grab one of the top running backs in the game you take it.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Denver Broncos</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Denver Broncos are another team to keep an eye on as a Dalvin Cook landing spot. Denver has <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/W/WillJa10.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-06-08_pfr">Javonte Williams</a> coming back and they also signed ex-Bengal <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/P/PeriSa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-06-08_pfr">Samaje Perine</a> this offseason. There are some factors here to consider. The first is Williams suffered an ACL tear back in October and it might take some time before he is ready. The other is Perine is more of third down running back and has never handled a heavy load. If Head Coach <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/P/PaytSe20.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-06-08_pfr">Sean Payton</a> believes his team is a contender, expect him to make a move.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Dallas Cowboys</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Dallas is a bit of a wild card on this list but there are signs the Cowboys may be interested in Cook. Earlier this offseason the Cowboys decided to release <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/E/ElliEz00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-06-08_pfr">Ezekiel Elliott</a> and move ahead with <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/P/PollTo00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-06-08_pfr">Tony Pollard</a>. Although Pollard has shown a ton of potential the questions are there if he can handle a full-time role. Fantasy owners would not be happy with Cook entering the mix but the Cowboys offense would become a major threat next season. Never count out <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/search/search.fcgi?pid=JoneJe23,JoneJe22&amp;amp;search=Jerry+Jones&amp;amp;utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-06-08_pfr">Jerry Jones</a> to make a splashy move and bringing in Dalvin Cook would certainly be that. </p>
