<p class="wp-block-paragraph">When discussing a goal for a team there is many different definitions. For a struggling franchise, finding young talent to improve their future is the goal. For a playoff team, the next step would be the Super Bowl. So let’s take a look at a couple of teams ready to leap into Super Bowl contention.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Houston Texans</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The obvious choice is the Texans, they made it to the Divisional Round with a rookie quarterback. <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/StroCJ00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-06-15_pfr">C.J. Stroud</a> is now heading into his second year. The acquisition of <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/D/DiggSt00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-06-15_pfr">Stefon Diggs</a> certainly boosts the offensive firepower. If Stroud continues on this track I certainly expect Super Bowl contention.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Cleveland Browns</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Browns have had an elite defense for a couple years now. The problem has been offensive production, with <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/W/WatsDe00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-06-15_pfr">Deshaun Watson</a> struggling a bit and the injury to <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/ChubNi00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-06-15_pfr">Nick Chubb</a> it wasn’t very good last year. This year Watson can deliver and make this team a Super Bowl caliber one. Kevin Stefanski will find a way to bring some sort of production out of Watson.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Chicago Bears</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">By no means is Chicago a sure-fire Super Bowl contender. I do think they have the pieces to be a serious playoff contender and even in a weak NFC conference anything can happen. Caleb Williams has all the tools needed to perform in <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/A/AlleKe00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-06-15_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Keenan Allen</a>, <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/search/search.fcgi?pid=MoorD.00,MoorDJ99&amp;search=D.J.+Moore&amp;utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-06-15_pfr">D.J. Moore</a>, <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/SwifDA00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-06-15_pfr">D&#8217;Andre Swift</a> and two stud tackles. Regarding the defensive the Bears locked down cornerback <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/J/JohnJa13.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-06-15_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Jaylon Johnson</a> earlier this year.&nbsp;</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The concept of winners and losers of the NFL draft is always a controversial subject. Even the safest of prospects could bust, just because they might not work out. As for the 2024 NFL Draft, there were a few teams that came out looking really good, and a few teams that may of reached on a couple of picks. So with all things being considered let’s look at some winners and losers.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Winner &#8211; Chicago Bears </h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Well, this an obvious team to choose for the best draft. Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze headlined this incredible draft that could be remembered in Chicago for years. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A franchise QB and maybe a franchise WR in Rome Odunze, Chicago probably has the best reciever core in the league with DJ Moore <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/A/AlleKe00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-05-06_pfr">Keenan Allen</a> and Rome Odunze. Tory Taylor is also just a special punter and will be a dominant one for years to come.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Loser &#8211; Atlanta Falcons</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The falcons had a great opportunity this year to majorly upgrade their pass rush by getting the likes of Dallas Turner or Laitu Latu. Instead, they draft their successor of <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/CousKi00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-05-06_pfr">Kirk Cousins</a> in Micheal Penix Jr. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Penix is a great quarterback, but the value was too high and the situation truly doesn’t add up. Cousins is on a 4-year deal that pays him a lot of money. Penix has a chance to be great but everything needs to fall in place. Moving onto the later rounds, Ruke Orhorhoro with the 35th pick was a bit of a reach but, mainly fine.&nbsp;</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Winner &#8211; New Orleans Saints</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Saints crushed this draft. Tailese Fuaga with the 14th pick was perfect value and a great fit. The main steal of the draft were two picks, Kool-Aid Mckinstry with the 41st pick and Spencer Rattler with the 150th pick. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">These two guys have huge upside and can be not only productive starters, STARS. In terms of Rattler, his upside is through the roof, he throws a better ball than a lot of guys in the league currently. </p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Loser &#8211; Las Vegas Raiders</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Las Vegas didn’t get a quarterback, it’s that simple. I love the Brock Bowers pick, but in a league as competitive as the NFL, you need to at least have a guy that’s a lottery ticket. When I say lottery ticket I mean a 4th rounder or 5th rounder that could boom and become a franchise guy, take Spencer Rattler for example or for someone actually in the league <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/P/PresDa01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-05-06_pfr">Dak Prescott</a>.&nbsp;</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This year’s free agency was jam-packed full of signings and trades bringing huge changes to the league. Along with being one of the more active free agencies, it was a more top heavy class with maybe not as much depth as past years. So let’s take a look at some of the big gets from around the league.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Marquise Brown to the Chiefs</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Even before the <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/R/RiceRa01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-04-09_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Rashee Rice</a> news, I thought this signing was a home run, the fit, the money, the productivity all were perfect. And now with Rice’s status in doubt, Brown is going to have to produce in that potential WR1 role. I have no doubt Andy Reid and <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MahoPa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-04-09_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Patrick Mahomes</a> will make him a thousand yard receiver once again.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Keenan Allen to the Bears</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This trade was extremely interesting, this was the start of signals from the Bears showing they might be moving on from <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/F/FielJu00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-04-09_pfr">Justin Fields</a>. Chicago gave the 110th pick in the draft for Allen. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The reason the trade can be so good is the upside, Allen at WR2 paired with DJ Moore is nearly unfair. Of course health and father time will be the main decider in this case, but for now this is a near perfect deal for the Bears.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Christian Wilkins to the Raiders</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Wilkins to the Raiders was one of the more surprising moves of the period. Las Vegas got the DT on a 4-year $110 million dollar deal getting a major pass rush and run stopping upgrade in the middle to lineup along side star edge <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/CrosMa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-04-09_pfr">Maxx Crosby</a>. It’s an aggressive move for a rebuilding roster but I love the potential building of the D-line for the Raiders.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Javon Hargrave Re-signs with 49ers</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">You have to give credit to the 49ers, after losing the Super Bowl to Patrick Mahomes once again, they go ahead lock down thier defensive tackle to pressure Mahomes through the middle. It will take a lot to stop Mahomes but a defense full of talent like <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BosaNi00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-04-09_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Nick Bosa</a>, <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/H/HargJa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-04-09_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Javon Hargrave</a> and <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/W/WarnFr00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-04-09_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Fred Warner</a> is going to be tough to slow down.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">L’Jarius Sneed to the Titans</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The star cornerback was a pivotal point in the Kansas City defense and due to salary cap issues he couldn’t stay, thankfully for the Titans he fell right into their lap for a 3rd and 7th (pick swap). Sneed fills the Titans biggest need and will immediately upgrade this defense.  </p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If I was asked to choose the best move on this list, I would have to give it to the <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BrowMa04.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-04-09_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Marquise Brown</a> signing. Mahomes will have a new weapon to maybe pair along Rashee Rice. The 11 million dollars comes in handy to save money in the future as well. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">With exactly 1 month until the NFL draft, there’s a lot of questions still left unanswered. The number 1 overall pick seems to be locked in, but as for the rest, it’s anyone’s guess as to who will go at the top of the board.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Caleb Williams to Chicago</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">After the block buster move to send <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/F/FielJu00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-03-25_pfr">Justin Fields</a> to Pittsburgh, it’s more clear than ever that Caleb Williams will be the guy in Chicago. In years past, this would be considered a bad situation to go to, but with one of the best WR duos in the league (<a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/A/AlleKe00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-03-25_pfr">Keenan Allen</a> and <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/search/search.fcgi?pid=MoorD.00,MoorDJ99&amp;search=D.J.+Moore&amp;utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-03-25_pfr">D.J. Moore</a>) the pressure is on for Williams to perform. Williams is the most NFL ready QB and the clear #1 prospect in this draft.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Drake Maye to Washington. </h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Drake Maye is one of my favorite prospects in the draft. His big arm and big production makes him a Josh-Allen esque talent. More teams everyday are taking a chances on big talent big risk guys after seeing how well it has worked out. <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/McLaTe00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-03-25_pfr">Terry McLaurin</a> and <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/D/DotsJa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-03-25_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Jahan Dotson</a> should produce very well for Maye.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The only downside to his game is the turnovers, 9 INT’s and 4 particularly in the last 3 games of 2023 is definitely concerning, but it would be criminal to pass on him at 2.&nbsp;</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Marvin Harrison Jr. to the Patriots.</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Marvin Harrison is probably the best non-QB prospect in this draft. The patriots having many holes to fill in this roster should just take the best player available. The route of going QB is interesting but the question remains if you want to throw a rookie QB into a bad situation so early on.&nbsp;</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Malik Nabers to the Cardinals</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Nabers would be an electric addition to the WR-needy Cardinals. <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MurrKy00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-03-25_pfr">Kyler Murray</a>’s production would skyrocket with Nabers and could seriously upgrade the Cardinals offensively, the option of trading down always remains of course, but going with Nabers seems like the smart choice.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Jayden Daniels to the Vikings (Trade)</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Here is the blockbuster trade of the evening, Minnesota trades up 6 places to grab their franchise guy at 5. Daniels had a career year at LSU winning the Heisman and skyrocketing his draft value. <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/J/JeffJu00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-03-25_pfr">Justin Jefferson</a>, <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/A/AddiJo00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-03-25_pfr">Jordan Addison</a> and Daniels have the potential to be the best offense in the league and would make this a crazy good pick.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In our first 2024 NFL mock draft, we stuck to the board and didn&#8217;t predict any trades. In this latest version, we have a couple of trades that will shift how the 1st round plays out. Before we break down the trades below keep in mind that there is still a lot that could change as the draft is over 1 month away. </p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Commanders Trade Up for Caleb Williams</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Early on in the offseason, it seemed like a lock the Chicago Bears would select Caleb Williams with the first pick. Fast forward to today and that is no longer a guarantee. As it stands quarterback <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/F/FielJu00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-03-15_pfr">Justin Fields</a> is still on the Bears roster and hasn&#8217;t been traded. Most assume that is because nobody wants him but what if the Bears intend to keep him instead?</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Yesterday, Chicago pulled off a surprising trade with the LA Chargers and received <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/A/AlleKe00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-03-15_pfr">Keenan Allen</a> for a 4th round pick. Allen is no longer in his prime but is still a top-level receiver in the league. Pairing him with DJ Moore gives the Bears something they have been lacking for years. Weapons. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Some would assume getting Allen is to help Caleb Williams but what if it&#8217;s for Fields instead? Fields has not had a great supporting cast since he was drafted. This move could put less pressure on Fields and allow him to stay in the pocket more as these two receivers will eventually get open. Keep in mind the Bears also signed running back De&#8217;Andre Swift in free agency. Swift is another weapon that Fields could utilize.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">So what would it take for the Commanders to move up? Well with the trade yesterday the Bears now only have 4 picks in the upcoming draft. I believe Washington who just acquired an additional 3rd round pick for <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/H/HoweSa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-03-15_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Sam Howell</a> could offer the below package.</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Commanders get 1st overall pick &#8212;&gt; Bears get 2nd overall pick, 36th pick, 67th pick and a 2025 1st round pick</strong></li>
</ul>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">That may seem like a lot to move up one spot but if Washington believes that Williams is their franchise QB of the future they have to pull the trigger.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Vikings Move Up and Draft Drake Maye</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Earlier today the Minnesota Vikings pulled off a trade to swap draft picks with the Houston Texans. This gives Minnesota the 23rd pick in the upcoming draft. The Vikings now have two first-round picks at their disposal and I believe they will use them to move up for Drake Maye. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As it stands the Vikings are too far back to wait on a quarterback and with the departure of <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/CousKi00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-03-15_pfr">Kirk Cousins</a> they need to address the position. I do realize the Vikings picked up <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/D/DarnSa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-03-15_pfr">Sam Darnold</a> this week but I don&#8217;t think he is there to be the starter. Maye makes a lot of sense for this Vikings team who still have star <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/J/JeffJu00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-03-15_pfr">Justin Jefferson</a> and recently brought in ex-Packer <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/search/search.fcgi?pid=JoneAa00,JoneAa20&amp;search=Aaron+Jones&amp;utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2024-03-15_pfr">Aaron Jones</a>.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It&#8217;s week 16 in the NFL and below you will find our newly released fantasy football rankings. This week will once again feature a non-traditional schedule with 2 games on Saturday and three days on Christmas Monday.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The best game of the week will be Monday night in San Francisco where the 49ers welcome the Baltimore Ravens. This could be a Super Bowl preview matchup so get your popcorn ready. Before you check out our fantasy football rankings, let&#8217;s highlight injuries to monitor this week.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/StroCJ00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;amp;utm_campaign=2023-12-20_pfr">C.J. Stroud</a> &#8211; </strong>It looks as though Stroud will miss a second straight game due to a concussion. <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/K/KeenCa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;amp;amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;amp;amp;utm_campaign=2023-12-20_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Case Keenum</a> filled in admirably last week in his absence but this offense is obviously not the same without Stroud. It remains to be seen if Stroud can return for week 17 as the Texans continue to fight for a playoff spot.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/ChasJa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;amp;amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;amp;amp;utm_campaign=2023-12-20_pfr">Ja&#8217;Marr Chase</a> &#8211;</strong> Chase injured his shoulder last week vs. the Vikings and was officially diagnosed with an AC joint sprain. Unfortunately for Chase owners, it looks like Chase will be out this week and possibly more. Fellow receivers <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BoydTy00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;amp;amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;amp;amp;utm_campaign=2023-12-20_pfr">Tyler Boyd</a> and <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/H/HiggTe00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;amp;amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;amp;amp;utm_campaign=2023-12-20_pfr">Tee Higgins</a> will get a bump in our rankings due to this.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/A/AlleKe00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-12-20_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Keenan Allen</a> &#8211; </strong>Allen missed last week&#8217;s game with a heel injury and may also miss his week 16 matchup. He did not practice on Tuesday and it&#8217;s likely the Chargers will be cautions on his return. With <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/H/HerbJu00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-12-20_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Justin Herbert</a> now out for the season LA will not risk further injury to one of its superstars.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">NFL Week 2 Game Recap: Seattle Seahawks 37, Detroit Lions 31</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Seattle Seahawks won 37-31 in walk-off fashion on the road in Detroit as <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/SmitGe00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr">Geno Smith</a> found <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/L/LockTy00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr">Tyler Lockett</a>, who reached out for the pylon. Smith led Seattle to a turnover-free victory, going 32-for-41 with 328 yards and two touchdowns. Both passing touchdowns were to Lockett, who racked up eight catches for 59 yards. Seattle also found success on the ground, rushing for 82 yards and two touchdowns.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Seahawks receiver <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MetcDK00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr">D.K. Metcalf</a> left the game in the first quarter with a rib injury, and headed to to the locker room. He returned shortly after, finishing the game with six receptions for 75 yards, as Geno Smith spread the targets around all game. Turnovers proved to be the downfall for Detroit. The Lions fumbled the ball away twice in a row, one to end the first half and another to begin the second half. <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/G/GoffJa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr">Jared Goff</a> then threw a pick-six to Seattle cornerback <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BrowTr03.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr">Tre Brown</a>, who ran it back 40 yards to the house. Late in the fourth quarter, Goff led the Lions down the field for a game-tying field goal, forcing overtime with a score of 31-31. However it was not enough for the Lions, who fall to 1-1 after the loss. Meanwhile, Seattle also moves to 1-1 with the victory.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">NFL Week 2 Game Recap: Buffalo Bills 38, Las Vegas Raiders 10</h4>

Both the Bills and the Las Vegas Raiders move to 1-1 on the season.</p>

Running back <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/R/RobiBr01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr">Brian Robinson</a> Jr. also ran in for a pair of touchdowns himself.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">NFL Week 2 Game Recap: Dallas Cowboys 30, New York Jets 10</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Dallas Cowboys beat the New York Jets handedly by a score of 30-10 as the Cowboys defense dominated for the second week in a row. Dallas moves to 2-0 on the season as the Jets fall to 1-1.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/P/ParsMi00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr">Micah Parsons</a> and the Cowboys defense looked unstoppable in week two, intercepting Jets quarterback <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/W/WilsZa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr">Zach Wilson</a> three times. Parsons recorded two sacks and four hits on Wilson, as <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/K/KearJa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr">Jayron Kearse</a>, <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/H/HookMa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr">Malik Hooker</a>, and <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/D/DiggTr00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr">Trevon Diggs</a> each intercepted a pass.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Ceedee Lamb showed he didn’t need the help of <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/CookBr00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr">Brandin Cooks</a>, who missed the game due to a sprained knee. Lamb recorded 11 catches for 143 yards, with big plays setting up for multiple scores for Dallas. Kicker <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/A/AubrBr00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr">Brandon Aubrey</a> went five-for-five on field goals, as <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/P/PresDa01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr">Dak Prescott</a> found tight ends <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/F/FergJa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr">Jake Ferguson</a> and <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/SchoLu00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr">Luke Schoonmaker</a> for a touchdown each.&amp;nbsp;</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The lone touchdown for the Jets came from star receiver Garret Wilson, who caught a pass across the middle and took it 68 yards to the house, marking his longest touchdown of his career thus far. Other than that, there wasn’t much going for Zach Wilson and the Jets offense, who recorded 215 total yards. Parsons along with the rest of the ruthless Dallas front four pressured Wilson all game, showing why they are one of the best defenses in the NFL.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">NFL Week 2 Game Recap: Miami Dolphins 24, New England Patriots 17</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Miami Dolphins held off a late comeback by the New England Patriots, winning the game 24-17 as a lateral to <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/StraCo01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr">Cole Strange</a> came up short on fourth down.&amp;nbsp;</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/T/TagoTu00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr">Tua Tagovailoa</a> took what the defense gave him for most of the night, finding <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/W/WaddJa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr">Jaylen Waddle</a> five times for 86 yards. The Dolphins had plenty of success on the ground as well, as <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MostRa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr">Raheem Mostert</a> took 18 carries for 121 yards and two touchdowns.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Rookie Cornerback <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/G/GonzCh00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr">Christian Gonzalez</a> kept <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/H/HillTy00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr">Tyreek Hill</a> in check for the most part, holding the star receiver to four receptions for 56 yards and a touchdown, with the touchdown coming on a play where Gonzalez was not covering Hill.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/J/JoneMa05.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Mac Jones</a> finished the game 31-for-42 with 231 yards, one touchdown and one interception. The interception came at the end of the third quarter after the Patriots drove down the field into the redzone. <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/H/HowaXa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Xavien Howard</a> picked off the pass intended for <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/P/ParkDe01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">DeVante Parker</a> on the sideline at the Miami three yard line, putting an end to New Englands’ drive and keeping the score at 17-3.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Patriots cut the lead down in the fourth quarter following a Mac Jones scramble for 18 yards, the longest run of the night for New England. Jones found <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/H/HenrHu00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr">Hunter Henry</a> on the run for a six yard touchdown pass, making the score 17-10.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On the next Miami possession, Tagovailoa threw it deep down the left side of the field to Tyreek Hill as the pass was intercepted by Christian Gonzalez. The rookie first round pick made a leaping catch over Hill, giving the Patriots the ball back.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Dolphins forced a three and out, getting the ball back on the New England 43 yard line. On the first play of the drive, Raheem Mostert took a handoff up the middle 43 yards untouched to the endzone, extending the lead to 24-10.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Mac Jones led the Patriots to a 9 play 75 yard drive ending with a <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/StevRh00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr">Rhamondre Stevenson</a> touchdown run to cut the lead down to 24-17.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Dolphins took the ball and drove it into Patriots territory, before the snap was fumbled on third and one. Tua recovered the fumble, but the mistake forced Miami to kick a 55 yard field goal. With concern for <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/SchoBr00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr">Brenden Schooler</a>, who blocked the previous field goal, <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/SandJa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr">Jason Sanders</a> missed the field goal, giving the Patriots an opportunity to tie or win the game.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">After finding <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BourKe00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr">Kendrick Bourne</a> for a pair of completions, Mac Jones was sacked by <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/ChubBr00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr">Bradley Chubb</a> for a loss of 8 yards. New England was faced with a fourth and four, where Mac Jones completed a pass to <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/G/GesiMi00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-18_pfr">Mike Gesicki</a> short of the first down line. Gesicki threw a lateral to offensive lineman Cole Strange, who was stopped short of the marker, ending the comeback for the Patriots.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The win brings the Dolphins to 2-0 on the season, as the Patriots fall to 0-2.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Week 2 of the NFL brings us a load of redemption stories from poor week 1 performances. With a lot of great matchups, and great opportunities for a ton of players on the slate, let’s take a look at the players at each position that stand out for me. As always good luck and go make that money. </p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Quarterbacks</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/H/HerbJu00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Justin Herbert</a> &#8211; $7000 <br><br>My number one quarterback on the main slate is going to be Justin Herbert. The Titans possess one of the best defenses in the league against the run, and <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/E/EkelAu00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Austin Ekeler</a> is out this week, therefore we are going to watch Herbert cook. The Titans do not have a great secondary as we just watched Derek Car go for over 300 yards last week. I fully expect Herbert to get over 300 yards with at least 2 TDs. <br><br><a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MahoPa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Patrick Mahomes</a> &#8211; $8300<br><br>In what could end up as the biggest shootout of the week, projected total 51 points, Mahomes is looking to rebound from a week 1 loss that saw him somewhat underperform. There won’t be many games that Mahomes throws the ball 40 times and him not get you 30 fantasy points. Last week <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/R/RichAn03.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Anthony Richardson</a> had over 250 total yards and 2 TDs against this defense. Great stack opportunities with a lot of cheap chiefs pass catchers. <br><br><a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MayfBa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Baker Mayfield</a> &#8211; $5100<br><br>Yes, that Baker Mayfield. I mentioned him last week that he had a great chance at throwing 2 TDs, and we are going right back to it. Great weapons on the outside, and a running game that isn’t getting off the ground, Baker is in another great position against the Bears. We just saw Jordan Love throw for 245 and 3 TDs, so it’s not unreal to see Baker eclipse 20 points this week. If you want to play the studs at RB and WR, this is your QB. </p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Running Backs</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/H/HenrDe00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Derrick Henry</a> &#8211; $7400<br><br>Every year we find a game that Derrick Henry is incredibly underpriced. This is that game. The King goes against a defense in the Chargers that historically struggles to stop the run, 31st in yards allowed last year. <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/T/TannRy00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Ryan Tannehill</a> does not look great, so you have to imagine the game script is going to involve a lot of Derrick Henry. I expect the King to return top 3 RB numbers today. <br><br><a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BarkSa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Saquon Barkley</a> &#8211; $8000<br><br>Essentially removed from the game script last week before halftime, there are huge bounce back opportunity in a game where the Giants should control the game. The Arizona Cardinals showed last week that they can rush the QB, and <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/J/JoneDa05.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Daniel Jones</a> did not look very good against a pass rush. I expect Barkley to touch the ball 25+ times in this game, and we chase opportunity in fantasy more than anything. Barkley will have the best opportunity than any RB on the slate today top the leaderboard today. <br><br><a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/D/DillAJ00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">AJ Dillon</a> &#8211; $5900<br><br><a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/search/search.fcgi?pid=JoneAa00,JoneAa20&amp;search=Aaron+Jones&amp;utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Aaron Jones</a> is not expected to play giving Dillon an excellent chance today to really showcase himself as a bell cow back. Jones had 127 total yards last week as the RB is a vital tool in the success of this offense. Dillon should see most of the work in the passing game as well as 20+ rushing attempts, putting him in a great position for 18+ fantasy points today. <br><br><a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MossZa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Zack Moss</a> &#8211; $4700<br><br>Moss is coming back from a fractured forearm in the preseason and will get the start for the Colts today against the Texans. Last week <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/J/JackDe02.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Deon Jackson</a> looked incapable averaging 1.1 yards per carry. Zach Moss will have all the chances to own this backfield in the interim of <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/T/TaylJo02.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Jonathan Taylor</a>’s hiatus, and it starts today against a Texans defense that allowed over 100 and 3 TDs against the Ravens last week. If Moss gets in the end zone, he will return a great score on his $4700 price. </p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Wide Receivers</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/A/AlleKe00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Keenan Allen</a> &#8211; $7100<br><br>If you are playing Justin Herbert, you are stacking him with Keenan Allen today. With <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/E/EkelAu00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Austin Ekeler</a> out, Allen could see 15 targets against a Swiss cheese Titans secondary. Last week he had 6 catches for 76 yards on 9 targets, and we realistically could double all those numbers with a score today. Throw in a touchdown and Allen could return 25 points today. <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/search/search.fcgi?pid=WillMi07,WillMi23,WillMi04,WillMi22,WillMi03,WillMi00,WillMi02,WillMi21&amp;search=Mike+Williams&amp;utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Mike Williams</a> ($5700) is another great stack play as the three of them could put you in a great spot in tournaments. <br><br><a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/R/RidlCa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Calvin Ridley</a> &#8211; $7200<br><br>Last week Ridley brought in 8 of 11 targets for 101 yards as it looked like <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/L/LawrTr00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Trevor Lawrence</a> was enjoying having Ridley on the field. The clear number one option in a game where the Jaguars will be looking to keep up with Mahomes and company, Ridley could be in line for another huge game. <br><br><a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/G/GodwCh00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Chris Godwin</a> &#8211; $6200<br><br>Chris Godwin operates out of the slot for the Buccaneers and the Bears starting slot corner will be out for this game. That sounds like a recipe for disaster for the Bears. 5 catches 51 yards on 6 targets last week and we could be looking at double those numbers with a TD. I love a Mayfield Evans Godwin stack today. <br><br><a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/D/DaviGa01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Gabriel Davis</a> &#8211; $5800<br><br>Last week <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/D/DiggSt00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Stefon Diggs</a> went off against a much better Jets defense, so why would you play Gabe Davis? Many are expecting a bounce back performance from <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/search/search.fcgi?pid=AlleJo02,AlleJo03,AlleJo00&amp;search=Josh+Allen&amp;utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Josh Allen</a>, and the Raiders defense can be had. They will be game planning to stop Diggs and Davis should have a lot of territory to work on Sunday. Some of the best Josh Allen performances are when Gabe Davis booms, we could be looking at one of those coming here. </p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Tight Ends</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/W/WallDa01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr">Darren Waller</a> &#8211; $5500<br><br>Waller is third highest priced TE on the slate today, but still priced well below Kelce $7600. I mentioned earlier that Jones did not look great against the pass rush last week, therefore the Giants should be looking to get the ball out of his hands quickly. The Giants should be able to get into the red zone, unlike last week giving Waller great opportunity to score. The Giants love throwing to the TE in the red zone, and they haven’t had a weapon like Waller at TE in a long time. <br><br><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/L/LaPoSa01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr">Sam LaPorta</a> &#8211; $3900<br><br>Last week LaPorta saw 5 targets against the Chiefs and looked like a very capable playmaker hauling in all 5. The Seahawks did not look like a solid defense last week and I believe the Lions will put up some points. <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/G/GoffJa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr">Jared Goff</a> loves to go to the TE historically in the red zone and I could see LaPorta scoring today which would give a great return at a low price. <br><br><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/T/ThomLo00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr">Logan Thomas</a> &#8211; $3100<br><br>This one is pretty simple, young QBs love them some TEs. Thomas saw 8 targets last week, and if that continues, you can’t ignore that target share at that price. </p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Defense/Special Teams </h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Dallas Cowboys &#8211; $4000<br><br>Do we expect a repeat performance of last weeks Earth shattering 37 point game? Of course not, but could we actually see it? We all know what <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/W/WilsZa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr">Zach Wilson</a> is and we could see another game with a lot of sacks and turnover potential. I don’t expect this defense to disappoint at this price. <br><br>New York Jets &#8211; $2700<br><br>While the Dallas defense made the Giants defense unplayable last week, I can’t imagine a repeat performance happening. The Jets defense just made Josh Allen look like <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/P/PresDa01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr">Dak Prescott</a>, what do you think they are going to make Dak look like? The potential is <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/P/PeteNa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr">Nathan Peterman</a>. We honestly could see the Jets do to the Cowboys, what the Cowboys did to the Giants last week. <br><br>Atlanta Falcons &#8211; $2900<br><br>Call it a hunch, I think <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/L/LoveJo03.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-17_pfr">Jordan Love</a> comes back to Earth a bit and turns the ball over against the Falcons. Atlanta can run the ball and control the clock putting Love in position to have to make plays and potentially make mistakes. I think Atlanta is a sneaky play to be a top defense this week. <br></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Welcome to the first Sunday of football, all is right with the world again. Sitting on the couch for 10 hours straight is never more exciting when there’s football involved. Of course now with football comes fantasy, and with all of your season long fantasy drafts completed, you might still have the itch to draft a team. Open up that FanDuel or DraftKings app and take a look at the board. Below you will find may favorite DFS plays for week 1.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Quarterbacks</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">QB <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/CarrDe02.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr">Derek Carr</a> $5300<br>Derek Carr plays against the Titans today whom were 29th in the league in fantasy points to opposing QBs last year. Allowing 274.8 YPG through the air, ranking dead last at 32nd this Titans team didn’t do a whole lot to improve their secondary. They are great up front as they were the number 1 defense against the run last year. Carr is my favorite stack play of the day. <br><br>QB <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/H/HerbJu00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr">Justin Herbert</a> $6900<br>This game has the highest over under of any game on the slate today. Two high powered offenses with a whole lot of talent, and two defenses while boasting many talented players, do give up a lot of points. Dolphins gave up 23.2 PPG while the Chargers gave up 22.7. Herbert could be in line for a QB1 performance as the Dolphins were 30th in the league last year in fantasy points per game allowed to QBs.<br><br><strong>Dart Throws at QB</strong> <br><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/R/RiddDe00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr">Desmond Ridder</a>/<a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MayfBa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr">Baker Mayfield</a> $4900<br>If you’re looking to play a lot of high priced studs, I can see either of these guys throwing for 2 TDs today. <br></p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Running Backs</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">RB JK Dobbins $6600<br>Finally healthy with a lot more weapons on the outside will mean that Dobbins will be in an excellent position to succeed. He should see less men in the box as there is more attention paid to the pass catchers in this offense. Dobbins also gets a juicy opportunity against the team that allowed the most rushing yards(170.2) and fantasy points(28.5) to RB per game last year in the Houston Texans. <br><br>RB <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MostRa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr">Raheem Mostert</a> $5400<br>The Chargers allowed 144.2 YPG on the ground last year as they were one of three teams to give up over 2000 yards last year. With <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/W/WilsJe01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr">Jeff Wilson</a> Jr going on IR the only competition he will really have in the backfield will be rookie Devin Achane. He could be in line for a 100 yard game with a TD. <br><br>RB <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/R/RobiBr01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr">Brian Robinson</a> Jr $5100<br>The Cardinals are going to be bad this year, and not in the good way. They ranked 29th in fantasy points against RBs as they gave up a lot of over 100 receptions to RBs last year. I expect a huge day in check downs on top of his work on the ground. <br><br><strong>Dart Throws at RB</strong><br>Devin Achane $4900<br><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/D/DillAJ00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr">AJ Dillon</a> $5200<br><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/E/EdwaGu00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr">Gus Edwards</a> $4500</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Wide Receivers</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">WR <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/O/OlavCh00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr">Chris Olave</a> $6500<br>If Derek Carr is going to dice up this defense, I want to stack him with Olave. As bad as the Titans were against the QB last year, they were the worst against the WR in fantasy, ranking 32nd. I expect multiple Saints receivers to be celebrating in the end zone today, Olave has the best chance at topping 100 yards as well. <br><br>WR <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/J/JeffJu00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr">Justin Jefferson</a> $8800<br>He was the number 1 player drafted in fantasy for a reason, he’s the highest salaried player for a reason. If you’re playing him, you’re going to need a lot of value plays to match him up. Not much else to say here, he’s amazing. <br><br>WR <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/A/AlleKe00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr">Keenan Allen</a> $7300<br>I’m expecting a huge bounce back season from Allen as he and Herbert continue to grow their connection. Great matchup to start as Allen should see somewhere near 12 targets today, and a few of those in the red zone. <br><br><strong>Dart Throws at WR</strong><br><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/L/LondDr00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr">Drake London</a> $5400<br><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/search/search.fcgi?pid=ThomMi05,ThomMi02&amp;amp;search=Michael+Thomas&amp;amp;utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr">Michael Thomas</a> $5100<br>Could see either of these guys in the end zone today. </p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Tight Ends</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">TE TJ Hockenson $5900<br>After trading for Hockenson last year, he quickly became one of Kirk Cousin’s favorite targets. The number two to JJ, in a very solid matchup, Buccaneers ranked 29th against TEs last year. I could see a double digit target number with a TD for Hock today. <br><br>TE <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/D/DulcGr00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Greg Dulcich</a> $4000<br><a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/P/PaytSe20.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Sean Payton</a> loves his TE in the red zone, but Dulcich is a solid route runner with above average athleticism. He should have a great year in this system and I would look for him to have a solid return on a low price point today. <br><br>TE <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/T/ThomLo00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Logan Thomas</a> $3200<br>These are the kind of values you need to play other than the higher priced studs. The cliche is a young QB needs a good TE to get the ball out quickly, and I believe the cliche will ring true today. I expect a 8 target day for Logan Thomas and wouldn’t be surprised to see him score. <br><br><strong>Dart Throw at TE</strong><br><a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/H/HillTa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Taysom Hill</a> $3700<br>He could throw a pass, run the ball, and catch the ball. Taysom Hill is the Ultimate Dart Throw. </p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Defense/ST</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">D/ST Washington $2800<br>The Commanders are a better defense than they get credit for. They can pressure the QB and create turnovers. Big upside play. <br><br>D/ST Baltimore $4000<br>Highest defense on the slate, if you have the money left over, don’t be afraid to spend it on the Ravens.<br><br>D/ST Eagles $3700<br>Sacks, sacks, sacks, and of course sacks. <br><br><strong>Optimal lineup </strong><br>QB Derek Carr<br>RB Brian Robinson Jr<br>RB JK Dobbins<br>WR Chris Olave <br>WR Michael Thomas <br>WR Keenan Allen <br>Flex Raheem Mostert<br>TE TJ Hockenson<br>D/ST Washington Commanders <br><br>Good Luck everyone, I’ll see you out there. Let’s make that money. <br><br></p>

<h1 class="wp-block-heading">Will Keenan Allen be cast into Canton?</h1>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">By: Jake Rajala</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Los Angeles Chargers were flat-out stunned when former Cal WR, Keenan Allen, was available for them to draft in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Allen absolutely proved to be a steal for the Chargers in his first season by recording 1,046 yards and a whopping eight touchdowns. Clearly, Allen had some Antonio Gates spirit in him by defying expectations and ascending to be a star for the Chargers. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In 2017, the crisp route-runner, Allen, made his first Pro Bowl by obtaining 102 catches, 1,393 yards, and six TDs. Furthermore, he won CPOY in the same season (after playing in one game in 2016). Allen also made the PB in 2018, 2019, 2020, and even 2021. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Keenan Allen was ranked #77 on the NFL top 100 ?? <a href="https://t.co/wXyDYlZyth">pic.twitter.com/wXyDYlZyth</a></p>&mdash; Receiver Life (@ReceiverLife_) <a href="https://twitter.com/ReceiverLife_/status/1289704903581945857?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">August 1, 2020</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">With that said, it&#8217;s clear that the Chargers WR1 has been an elite wideout over the past several seasons and one of the best Chargers WRs of all time. So, there&#8217;s a grand, enticing question surrounding the illustrious WR: Is Keenan Allen a future Hall of Famer?</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If Allen retired today, I don&#8217;t believe he would deserve to be cast into Canton. However, he has been a beacon of consistent dominance since 2017. If he can garner two-three more Pro Bowls, he should have enough production and top-end seasons to receive a gold jacket. Allen was a bit of a late bloomer, so he didn&#8217;t start clocking Pro Bowl seasons until his fifth NFL season. Nonetheless, he is on the right path with the mega-arm QB Justin Herbert to register a few more prolific seasons. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Keenan Allen&#39;s route running is a clinic ?? <a href="https://t.co/0UiLFJFUsU">pic.twitter.com/0UiLFJFUsU</a></p>&mdash; Footballism (@FootbaIIism) <a href="https://twitter.com/FootbaIIism/status/1522734209772752896?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">May 7, 2022</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Similar to Michael Thomas and other elite WRs, his biggest flaw has been injury habits, but Chargers fans know all too well that he has the work ethic to bounce back after dealing with injuries. In 2022, Allen is currently MIA with a hamstring injury. He should be able to return within a few contests &amp; reach for the stars in the frigid AFC West division.</p>
