<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Welcome to the first Sunday of football, all is right with the world again. Sitting on the couch for 10 hours straight is never more exciting when there’s football involved. Of course now with football comes fantasy, and with all of your season long fantasy drafts completed, you might still have the itch to draft a team. Open up that FanDuel or DraftKings app and take a look at the board. Below you will find may favorite DFS plays for week 1.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Quarterbacks</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">QB <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/CarrDe02.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr">Derek Carr</a> $5300<br>Derek Carr plays against the Titans today whom were 29th in the league in fantasy points to opposing QBs last year. Allowing 274.8 YPG through the air, ranking dead last at 32nd this Titans team didn’t do a whole lot to improve their secondary. They are great up front as they were the number 1 defense against the run last year. Carr is my favorite stack play of the day. <br><br>QB <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/H/HerbJu00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr">Justin Herbert</a> $6900<br>This game has the highest over under of any game on the slate today. Two high powered offenses with a whole lot of talent, and two defenses while boasting many talented players, do give up a lot of points. Dolphins gave up 23.2 PPG while the Chargers gave up 22.7. Herbert could be in line for a QB1 performance as the Dolphins were 30th in the league last year in fantasy points per game allowed to QBs.<br><br><strong>Dart Throws at QB</strong> <br><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/R/RiddDe00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr">Desmond Ridder</a>/<a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MayfBa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr">Baker Mayfield</a> $4900<br>If you’re looking to play a lot of high priced studs, I can see either of these guys throwing for 2 TDs today. <br></p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Running Backs</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">RB JK Dobbins $6600<br>Finally healthy with a lot more weapons on the outside will mean that Dobbins will be in an excellent position to succeed. He should see less men in the box as there is more attention paid to the pass catchers in this offense. Dobbins also gets a juicy opportunity against the team that allowed the most rushing yards(170.2) and fantasy points(28.5) to RB per game last year in the Houston Texans. <br><br>RB <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MostRa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr">Raheem Mostert</a> $5400<br>The Chargers allowed 144.2 YPG on the ground last year as they were one of three teams to give up over 2000 yards last year. With <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/W/WilsJe01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr">Jeff Wilson</a> Jr going on IR the only competition he will really have in the backfield will be rookie Devin Achane. He could be in line for a 100 yard game with a TD. <br><br>RB <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/R/RobiBr01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr">Brian Robinson</a> Jr $5100<br>The Cardinals are going to be bad this year, and not in the good way. They ranked 29th in fantasy points against RBs as they gave up a lot of over 100 receptions to RBs last year. I expect a huge day in check downs on top of his work on the ground. <br><br><strong>Dart Throws at RB</strong><br>Devin Achane $4900<br><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/D/DillAJ00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr">AJ Dillon</a> $5200<br><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/E/EdwaGu00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr">Gus Edwards</a> $4500</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Wide Receivers</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">WR <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/O/OlavCh00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr">Chris Olave</a> $6500<br>If Derek Carr is going to dice up this defense, I want to stack him with Olave. As bad as the Titans were against the QB last year, they were the worst against the WR in fantasy, ranking 32nd. I expect multiple Saints receivers to be celebrating in the end zone today, Olave has the best chance at topping 100 yards as well. <br><br>WR <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/J/JeffJu00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr">Justin Jefferson</a> $8800<br>He was the number 1 player drafted in fantasy for a reason, he’s the highest salaried player for a reason. If you’re playing him, you’re going to need a lot of value plays to match him up. Not much else to say here, he’s amazing. <br><br>WR <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/A/AlleKe00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr">Keenan Allen</a> $7300<br>I’m expecting a huge bounce back season from Allen as he and Herbert continue to grow their connection. Great matchup to start as Allen should see somewhere near 12 targets today, and a few of those in the red zone. <br><br><strong>Dart Throws at WR</strong><br><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/L/LondDr00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr">Drake London</a> $5400<br><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/search/search.fcgi?pid=ThomMi05,ThomMi02&amp;amp;search=Michael+Thomas&amp;amp;utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr">Michael Thomas</a> $5100<br>Could see either of these guys in the end zone today. </p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Tight Ends</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">TE TJ Hockenson $5900<br>After trading for Hockenson last year, he quickly became one of Kirk Cousin’s favorite targets. The number two to JJ, in a very solid matchup, Buccaneers ranked 29th against TEs last year. I could see a double digit target number with a TD for Hock today. <br><br>TE <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/D/DulcGr00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Greg Dulcich</a> $4000<br><a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/P/PaytSe20.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Sean Payton</a> loves his TE in the red zone, but Dulcich is a solid route runner with above average athleticism. He should have a great year in this system and I would look for him to have a solid return on a low price point today. <br><br>TE <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/T/ThomLo00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Logan Thomas</a> $3200<br>These are the kind of values you need to play other than the higher priced studs. The cliche is a young QB needs a good TE to get the ball out quickly, and I believe the cliche will ring true today. I expect a 8 target day for Logan Thomas and wouldn’t be surprised to see him score. <br><br><strong>Dart Throw at TE</strong><br><a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/H/HillTa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-09-10_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Taysom Hill</a> $3700<br>He could throw a pass, run the ball, and catch the ball. Taysom Hill is the Ultimate Dart Throw. </p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Defense/ST</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">D/ST Washington $2800<br>The Commanders are a better defense than they get credit for. They can pressure the QB and create turnovers. Big upside play. <br><br>D/ST Baltimore $4000<br>Highest defense on the slate, if you have the money left over, don’t be afraid to spend it on the Ravens.<br><br>D/ST Eagles $3700<br>Sacks, sacks, sacks, and of course sacks. <br><br><strong>Optimal lineup </strong><br>QB Derek Carr<br>RB Brian Robinson Jr<br>RB JK Dobbins<br>WR Chris Olave <br>WR Michael Thomas <br>WR Keenan Allen <br>Flex Raheem Mostert<br>TE TJ Hockenson<br>D/ST Washington Commanders <br><br>Good Luck everyone, I’ll see you out there. Let’s make that money. <br><br></p>

<h1 class="wp-block-heading">Best TE sleepers right now</h1>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">By: Jake Rajala</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There are a plethora of under-the-radar tight ends that are worth discussing heading into Week 3. With that said, I&#8217;m going to dive right into five TE sleepers to target. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><em>David Njoku</em></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The man of the hour, David Njoku, ousted nine grabs (on 10 targets) for 89 yards and a touchdown last night. Meanwhile, Donovan Peoples-Jones and David Bell combined for three catches against the Steelers. The scary part is that Njoku doesn&#8217;t even have Deshaun Watson at the helm. The Browns TE is owned in 33% of ESPN leagues &amp; 51% of Yahoo leagues.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Highest recieving grade on TNF: <br><br>David Njoku &#8211; 94.2 ? <a href="https://t.co/bUlFXHzpiu">pic.twitter.com/bUlFXHzpiu</a></p>&mdash; PFF Fantasy Football (@PFF_Fantasy) <a href="https://twitter.com/PFF_Fantasy/status/1573357103451873281?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">September 23, 2022</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><em>Tyler Higbee</em></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There may still be room for the illustrious Rams TE Tyler Higbee on your roster (owned in 50% of ESPN leagues). Higbee garnered nine targets (after a whopping 11 targets in Week 1 against a deadly Bills defense) and ousted several receptions in Week 2. Ultimately, he&#8217;s second in TE targets at this point. <a href="https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/rankings/te.php">Fantasy Pros</a> has slotted him as the seventh-best TE moving forward. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Tyler Higbee is 2nd in TE targets&#8230;<br><br>And he has the #1 matchup Week 3.<br><br>Arizona ranks 32nd in coverage&#8230;<br><br>Allowing 71% of TE targets to be caught.</p>&mdash; SAL VETRI (@SalVetriDFS) <a href="https://twitter.com/SalVetriDFS/status/1573343935988105217?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">September 23, 2022</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><em>Logan Thomas</em></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Logan Thomas, also known as Taysom Hill before Taysom Hill, dazzled with a touchdown grab last week. He also had had 11 targets in the past two contests. Thomas registered 110 targets, 72 receptions, 670 yds, and six TDs in 2020. With Carson Wentz, he could certainly be in line to have a season at least as similar as his 2020 campaign. He is owned in 33% of Yahoo leagues &amp; 39% of ESPN leagues, so there&#8217;s more than an &#8220;only hope&#8221; to get him off the bench. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">&quot;This is the best offense I&#39;ve ever been a part of.&quot;<br>-Logan Thomas <a href="https://t.co/r47htPAXH8">pic.twitter.com/r47htPAXH8</a></p>&mdash; NBC Sports Commanders (@NBCSCommanders) <a href="https://twitter.com/NBCSCommanders/status/1571604565895561218?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">September 18, 2022</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><em>Irv Smith Jr.</em></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Minnesota Vikings TE Irv Smith Jr. is only owned in 35% of ESPN leagues, but he&#8217;s starting to climb the ladder. He impressively hauled in a touchdown and three catches on eight targets last week. Don&#8217;t sleep on him due to his complete in-action in Week 1. The Vikings TE will feast when opponents focus on the potential OPOY Justin Jefferson. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><em>Juwan Johnson</em></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The New Orleans Saints TE Juwan Johnson (who is a bit of a deep sleeper) edged out Adam Trautman for the keys to the starting TE spot. Last week, he grabbed four catches for 40 yards. ESPN has projected Johnson to reel in 706 yards &amp; 102 targets this season. At this point, Johnson has garnered a 69.2 grade by PFF for his work. It may be wise to target the TE in a week against a dreadful pass defense. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Year 3?? for Juwan Johnson ?<a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Saints?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Saints</a> | <a href="https://twitter.com/juwanplease?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@juwanplease</a> <a href="https://t.co/z39MMqZ7wJ">pic.twitter.com/z39MMqZ7wJ</a></p>&mdash; New Orleans Saints (@Saints) <a href="https://twitter.com/Saints/status/1550145021587988483?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">July 21, 2022</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

<h1 class="wp-block-heading">Latest Waiver Wire targets</h1>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">By: Jake Rajala</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Fantasy Football landscape is more intense than the blazin hot sauce at Buffalo Wild Wings after two weeks of football. Today, it&#8217;s vital to cover none other than the Week 3 Waiver Wire. Hence, I&#8217;m going to untwine several names to scoop up off the wire. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><em>Garrett Wilson</em></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Garrett Wilson is looking to be another special former Ohio State wideout, after hauling in a whopping 102 yards and 2 touchdowns against the dog pound last Sunday (which exceeded his first stat-line in Week 1: four catches for 52 yards). Many NFL faces have pointed out that Wilson already gives off &#8220;Justin Jefferson vibes&#8221;. It should be noted that Wilson doesn&#8217;t even have Zach Wilson at QB yet &#8212; who is on track to return in Week 4, per <a href="https://www.nfl.com/news/jets-qb-zach-wilson-week-4-return-joe-flacco-mike-white-catastrophe">NFL.com</a>. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">GARRETT WILSON ARE YOU KIDDING ME ?? <a href="https://t.co/zEaUFQbiyD">pic.twitter.com/zEaUFQbiyD</a></p>&mdash; Barstool Ohio State (@BarstoolOSU) <a href="https://twitter.com/BarstoolOSU/status/1571592104379285504?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">September 18, 2022</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><em>Raheem Mostert</em></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The flash-like RB Raheem Mostert, who is owned in 51.7% of ESPN leagues, is ascending to be the top dog at RB amid a high-powered offense. Mostert out-snapped Chase Edmonds yesterday &amp; ousted 79 total yards. It seems that Mostert&#8217;s chemistry with Mike McDaniel is beginning to pay off. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><em>Michael Gallup</em></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Dallas Cowboys elusive wideout Michael Gallup is finally back after he tore his ACL last season. Gallup inked a five-year deal worth $62.5 million dollars this off-season and he&#8217;s expected to be a big part of the puzzle moving forward. He&#8217;s only owned in 44% of ESPN leagues, but I expect that number to rise in the next 1-2 weeks. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><em>Evan Engram</em></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Jacksonville Jaguars TE Evan Engram is in a superior situation than last season, to say the least. He is proving to be reliable with Trevor Lawrence &#8211; as he ousted eight targets and several catches in Week 2. Michael Salfino of <a href="https://theathletic.com/3611731/2022/09/20/market-share-report-evan-engram-is-a-top-te-add-cam-akers-still-looks-broken-and-more/">The Athletic</a> is firm that Engram is a top TE add heading into Week 3. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><em>Jared Goff</em></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Detroit Lions veteran sharpshooter, Jared Goff, is coming off a monster game with four touchdown passes. He finished with a 121.7 passer rating for the day. It may be wise to grab the Lions QB that is nominated for FedEx Air Player of The Week &amp; that is only rostered in 23% of Yahoo leagues.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><em>Logan Thomas</em></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Logan Thomas, also known as Taysom Hill before Taysom Hill, nicely recorded a touchdown in Week 2. He&#8217;s also proven to be able to stretch the field &#8211; as he caught a 27-yard pass in Week 2 and a 20-yd catch in Week 1. I love the Commanders big weapon next to Scary Terry and Jahan Dotson. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong><em>Marcus Mariota</em></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Falcons dual-threat QB has been a stingy foe against the mighty New Orleans Saints defense in Week 1 &amp; the ultra-dangerous LA Rams defense in Week 2. As of late, Mariota registered a couple of passing touchdowns against the Aaron Donald-led defense. He should continue to blossom with the young WR-TE duo in Kyle Pitts and Drake London. </p>
