<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Welcome to the inaugural edition of the 2023 NFL Draft Focus. In this series, we will look at the incoming prospects hoping their names will be heard on draft night. Be sure to check often as we will produce content until the event’s start.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>BACKGROUND</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Isaiah Foskey is a defensive end prospect out of California. He played multiple positions in high school such as defensive end and tight end. Rivals listed him as a four-star prospect and had multiple offers out of high school. Isaiah chose to commit to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. As a senior, he played in the All-American Bowl in 2019.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Notre Dame landed a commitment from 2023 De La Salle TE Cooper Flanagan yesterday.<br><br>Did you know there’s a former De La Salle TE on the roster? <br><br>That would be current Irish starting Vyper Isaiah Foskey. <br><br>Foskey was a very good TE in high school but wisely chose to be a DE.</p>&mdash; Notre Dame Recruiting (@NDrecruiting01) <a href="https://twitter.com/NDrecruiting01/status/1433836619119927299?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">September 3, 2021</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>COLLEGE CAREER</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It was a slow start to Isaiah&#8217;s college career as he never started a game in his first two years at Notre Dame. As a freshman, he only played in four games and had five total tackles. In his second year, he had a big jump in production as he played in 12 games. Foskey had 20 total tackles and also had 4.5 sacks. He also forced 18 total pressures. His breakout year came as a junior when he started all 13 games for the Fighting Irish. In 564 snaps, he recorded 52 combined tackles, 11 sacks, and six forced fumbles.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Isaiah Foskey said WEIGHT ROOM ?<br><br>The Notre Dame edge had 22 sacks and 7 forced fumbles over the past two seasons. <a href="https://t.co/JrMCgLoURy">pic.twitter.com/JrMCgLoURy</a></p>&mdash; NFL Rookie Watch (@NFLRookieWatxh) <a href="https://twitter.com/NFLRookieWatxh/status/1620497606026870786?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">January 31, 2023</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>2022-2023 COLLEGE CAREER</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In his final year of college, Isaiah Foskey maintained the production he had in his junior season. He ended the year with 45 total tackles, 11 sacks, and a forced fumble. His best performance came against UNLV where he recorded five total tackles and three sacks. To end his career, he was invited to join the Senior Bowl.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Did a video on Notre Dame Edge Isaiah Foskey who broke Justin Tuck’s Notre Dame sack record.<br><br>Excited to see him at the Senior Bowl <a href="https://t.co/RtALSpPDtn">https://t.co/RtALSpPDtn</a> <a href="https://t.co/KdXUFX4AEu">pic.twitter.com/KdXUFX4AEu</a></p>&mdash; Bobby Skinner (@BobbySkinner_) <a href="https://twitter.com/BobbySkinner_/status/1603049539803422720?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">December 14, 2022</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>STRENGTHS:</strong> <strong>Explosiveness</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Isaiah Foskey looks like he was created in a lab. At 258 lbs, he was able to run a 4.58 40-yard dash. His hands are powerful and violent making it difficult for those trying to stop him. He&#8217;s very quick off the snap and uses his size and speed to beat offensive linemen.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Isaiah Foskey vs Bradley Chubb <br><br>90.6% match via MockDraftable <a href="https://t.co/StcviMIq6K">pic.twitter.com/StcviMIq6K</a></p>&mdash; Hogg (@HoggNFL) <a href="https://twitter.com/HoggNFL/status/1634678854814953472?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">March 11, 2023</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>WEAKNESSES:</strong> <strong>Flexibility</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">His flexibility is OK, it&#8217;s not anything special. There were instances wherein you could see Isaiah having a hard time bending. It makes him look stiff at times and he sometimes stops on plays and changes direction. He has high hips so this could attribute it.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>PLAYER COMPARISON:</strong> <strong><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/E/EpenAJ00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-03-17_pfr">A.J. Epenesa</a></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>TEAMS WHO COULD DRAFT HIM</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Earlier in the draft process, Isaiah Foskey was projected to go much higher. After evaluations, he is mocked as a late 1st round pick. This would be a good fit for him as he would go to a contender and he can learn from veterans. Watch out for the Chiefs and Eagles as a place he can slide in and have a productive career.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">5.

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Paris Johnson is an offensive tackle prospect from Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a top-20 prospect for the class of 2020 and was ranked the third-best offensive tackle in his class. His performance as a senior earned him the <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MunoAn00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-03-16_pfr">Anthony Munoz</a> Award. He would commit to the Ohio State Buckeyes.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Paris Johnson was a MENACE in high school ? <a href="https://t.co/8C9FkrFDRw">pic.twitter.com/8C9FkrFDRw</a></p>&mdash; NFL Rookie Watch (@NFLRookieWatxh) <a href="https://twitter.com/NFLRookieWatxh/status/1593081022228606976?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">November 17, 2022</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>COLLEGE CAREER</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">He played in limited games as a freshman. However, he was slotted to play as an offensive guard in the 2021 National Championship Game where Ohio State lost to Alabama. The coaches decided to move him to offensive guard in his second year. Even in his new position, he was still selected to the Second-team All-Big Ten.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Paris Johnson Jr. (No. 77) was the best offensive lineman in the 2020 recruiting class. I’m pretty sure this was his first meaningful snap of college football and look what Ohio State’s future starting left tackle did with it. <a href="https://t.co/MwaHC92tIO">pic.twitter.com/MwaHC92tIO</a></p>&mdash; Stephen Means (@Stephen_Means) <a href="https://twitter.com/Stephen_Means/status/1345433201129508864?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">January 2, 2021</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>2022-2023 COLLEGE CAREER</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Paris was moved back to his original position, offensive tackle for his junior season. Even with the position change, Johnson was still one of the best in his position for 2022. In 12 games, he only allowed two sacks and nine QB hurries while playing 757 snaps. He was named a consensus All-American and First-team All-Big Ten.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Ohio Born Players Always Show Up in the NFL So I will Say definitely <br><br>Ohio State had a Fantastic OL lead by former five star Paris Johnson Jr<br><br>He has hugeee upside <br> <a href="https://t.co/nDnNOeHJQk">pic.twitter.com/nDnNOeHJQk</a></p>&mdash; Recruiting Edits (@614EditzDSGN) <a href="https://twitter.com/614EditzDSGN/status/1632481744543707136?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">March 5, 2023</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>STRENGTHS:</strong> <strong>Fierce Competitor</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">One of the best traits of Paris Johnson is that he is a born leader. Coaches and teammates love his IQ for the game but also his passion. He doesn&#8217;t take plays off. He has a mean streak about him and he finishes plays strong. He will have a long and successful NFL career if his passion and determination are present.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Ohio State OL Paris Johnson views himself as a tackle, but is willing to play anywhere on the offensive line:<br><br>&quot;I want to be part of the best 5. </div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>WEAKNESSES:</strong> <strong>Limited Experience</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The switch to offensive guard definitely affected his growth so there&#8217;s only one year of experience for him playing as an offensive tackle. Even with the lack of experience, teams will still love what he showed at Ohio State. They are gonna used the early days of his career to teach him and get him stronger.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>PLAYER COMPARISON:</strong> <strong><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/CrosCh00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-03-16_pfr">Charles Cross</a></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>TEAMS WHO COULD DRAFT HIM</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Paris Johnson is rated highly and it shows in mock drafts. Mock drafts have him going in the top half in the 1st round. The Titans and the Patriots are two teams that would be perfect for Paris. Tennessee seems to be in a rebuild so Paris would be perfect for the new era of the Titans. <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/J/JoneMa05.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-03-16_pfr">Mac Jones</a> needs a better offensive line and drafting the Buckeye would give him better protection especially with them losing weapons such as <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MeyeJa01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-03-16_pfr">Jakobi Meyers</a> and <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/SmitJo01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-03-16_pfr">Jonnu Smith</a>. A sleeper team could be the Bears as he would protect his former QB in college, <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/F/FielJu00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-03-16_pfr">Justin Fields</a>.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Hello and welcome to the inaugural edition of the 2023 NFL Draft Focus. In this series, we will look at the incoming prospects hoping their names will be heard on draft night. Be sure to check often as we will produce content until the event’s start.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>BACKGROUND</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Kelee Ringo is a cornerback prospect out of Arizona. He was a highly-touted recruit as he was named to the All-American Bowl as a senior. Rivals listed him as a five-star prospect and the second-best cornerback in his class. Nationally, he was ranked as the seventh overall prospect in the class of 2020. With powerhouse schools trying to recruit him, Kelee chose the University of Georgia.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>COLLEGE CAREER</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Kelee had a rough start to his freshman year as he would redshirt due to an injury. He suffered a torn labrum and was out indefinitely. He would return in 2021 and be an impact player for the Georgia Bulldogs as they won the National Championship. Ringo recorded a sack and two interceptions, including a pick-6 against Alabama in the National Championship Game.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>2022-2023 COLLEGE CAREER</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There was a lot of concern with the NFL drafting so many players on the defensive side of Georgia after their title run. Ringo and the Bulldogs proved that wrong with another spectacular season that ended them winning another National Championship by over 50 points. He ended the year with a forced fumble and two interceptions. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Tennessee Volunteers WR Cedric Tilman on the toughest DB he faced throughout his college football career : Kelee Ringo <br><br>These two had some great battles the past couple of seasons. <a href="https://t.co/gKI5eMBk6V">pic.twitter.com/gKI5eMBk6V</a></p>&mdash; CFBLIVE247 (@CFBLive247_) <a href="https://twitter.com/CFBLive247_/status/1631673903050371074?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">March 3, 2023</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>STRENGTHS:</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">His physical abilities are gifts. To be a corner at 6&#8217;2&#8243;, 215 lbs with world-class speed is unfair. He uses his athleticism to be explosive with his movements. He has good instincts and can recognize the route. His man coverage is when he&#8217;s at his best against bigger receivers and even tight ends.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>WEAKNESSES:</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">His change of direction is a concern as he can be late to the wide receiver. He sometimes overuses his physicality and this leads to errors and penalties. He would have to calm down a bit to avoid penalties in the NFL.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>PLAYER COMPARISON:</strong> <strong><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/CampTy01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-03-11_pfr">Tyson Campbell</a></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>TEAMS WHO COULD DRAFT HIM</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Now, Kelee&#8217;s name has been all over mock drafts pick-wise. The safest bet is that he goes in the late teens to the 20s. He has the physical tools and gifts that are rarely available in the free agency market. Getting him in the draft would be a big help to any team that takes him. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Peter Skoronski is an offensive tackle prospect from Illinois. As a high school senior, Rivals ranked him as a four-star prospect and the 21st ranked in his position. His performance got him multiple offers but he decided to enroll at Northwestern. He is also the grandson of <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/SkorBo00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-03-10_pfr">Bob Skoronski</a>, a Green Bay Packer great during their run in the 1960s. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Senior Night at Maine South. Congratulations to Peter Skoronski on being selected to the High School All-American Bowl by NBC Sports. <a href="https://t.co/HVFiCOccUU">pic.twitter.com/HVFiCOccUU</a></p>&mdash; Maine South Athletics (@MaineSouthAth) <a href="https://twitter.com/MaineSouthAth/status/1185349924831014912?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">October 19, 2019</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>COLLEGE CAREER</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Peter&#8217;s impact could be seen early on as a freshman. He started nine games in his first season at Northwestern. People were raving about his ability and had high hopes for him as he got older. In his second year, he started 12 games for the Wildcats. The OT prospect earned multiple awards such as Second-team All-Big Ten as a freshman and First-team All-Big Ten as a sophomore. Prior to his junior season, many scouts were raving about him as a prospect to watch for the 2023 NFL Draft.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Looking at 2023 Draft Prospects. Peter Skoronski (LT #77) can expect his name to be called early if he carries on his excellent form from &#39;20 &amp; &#39;21. Great footwork &amp; hand placement stand out even though he was a True Sophomore in 2021. High expectations.<a href="https://t.co/cXFmmioe5J">pic.twitter.com/cXFmmioe5J</a></p>&mdash; NFL Draft Punk (@NFLDraftPunkPod) <a href="https://twitter.com/NFLDraftPunkPod/status/1525481652205588482?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">May 14, 2022</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>2022-2023 COLLEGE CAREER</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As a junior, Skoronski played all 12 games and was one of the most impressive players in all of college football. With over 800+ snaps, he only allowed just two sacks. His performance garnered him multiple awards such as unanimous All-American and the Rimington-Pace Offensive Lineman of the Year. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Two games into Northwestern OL Peter Skoronski and I completely get the appeal. Here&#39;s a minute of highlights: <a href="https://t.co/EHocoFVxqI">pic.twitter.com/EHocoFVxqI</a></p>&mdash; Nick Falato (@nickfalato) <a href="https://twitter.com/nickfalato/status/1630268229095669761?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">February 27, 2023</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>STRENGTHS:</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">He is an offensive lineman that has it all. He has leadership abilities and can help control the offensive line. His athleticism at his size makes him difficult for defensive players to go against. His football IQ is very high. Add all these up and you have someone in your offensive line that will be on your team for years to come.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Peter Skoronski: Flawless<br>Darnell Wright: ?<br><br>Our guy <a href="https://twitter.com/joethomas73?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@joethomas73</a> checks in from the <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/NFL?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#NFL</a> Combine with offensive linemen that impressed him in today&#39;s workouts ? <a href="https://t.co/Mph2ZePhaa">pic.twitter.com/Mph2ZePhaa</a></p>&mdash; The 33rd Team (@The33rdTeamFB) <a href="https://twitter.com/The33rdTeamFB/status/1632498650327728129?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">March 5, 2023</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>WEAKNESSES:</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">One measurement that was obtained that got scouts&#8217; eyes open was his short arms. They were measured at 32.25 inches, which was one of the shortest measured in the combine. While he may not have the traditional length, it shouldn&#8217;t be that much of a problem. A small note to take note of is that he can improve on his run-blocking as it isn&#8217;t as impressive as his pass-blocking.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>PLAYER COMPARISON:</strong> <strong><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/P/PughJu00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-03-10_pfr">Justin Pugh</a></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>TEAMS WHO COULD DRAFT HIM</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Everyone needs a good offensive line so Peter Skoronski shouldn&#8217;t have trouble being drafted in the early half of the first round. Even if the arm length is a concern from the NFL Draft Combine, he&#8217;s still one of the top available linesmen. Tennessee did release <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/L/LewaTa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-03-10_pfr">Taylor Lewan</a> so Skoronski could be a fit as the 11th pick. A team trading down like the Bears could draft him to protect <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/F/FielJu00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-03-10_pfr">Justin Fields</a>.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Will Anderson Jr is an EDGE prospect out of Hampton, Georgia. He was dominant, especially as a senior where he racked up 22 sacks and 15 TFLs. Due to his performance, he was named to the All-American Bowl in 2020. Rivals listed him as a five-star prospect and the top weakside defensive end at his position. He committed to play for Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Will Anderson Jr. the fullback? <br>Henry To’oTo’o exits as a legend<br>Jahmyr Gibbs calls his shot<br><br>These stories and more, included here after the <a href="https://twitter.com/tuscaloosanews?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@tuscaloosanews</a> asked the coaches of Alabama football’s stars for the best tales from high school<a href="https://t.co/I0O0sOPQm2">https://t.co/I0O0sOPQm2</a></p>&mdash; Nick Kelly (@_NickKelly) <a href="https://twitter.com/_NickKelly/status/1552653035247058947?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">July 28, 2022</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>COLLEGE CAREER</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In Alabama, he was named as a starter but as an outside linebacker instead of his original position in high school. This didn&#8217;t affect him as he was a key member of the National Championship Team in 2021. His freshman campaign ended with seven sacks and 10.5 TFLs. His sophomore season was one of the most impressive for any player in college football. Will led the league with 17.5 sacks and 34.5 TFLs. He earned multiple awards such as the <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/N/NaguBr00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;amp;amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;amp;amp;utm_campaign=2023-03-05_pfr">Bronko Nagurski</a> Trophy and the SEC Defensive Player of the Year.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">

</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>2022-2023 COLLEGE CAREER</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">His junior season was a &#8220;down year&#8221; as he didn&#8217;t improve his statistics from his second year. He did however put fear into the opposition as he had 10 sacks. Even with this, he still garnered multiple accolades. He won the Lombardi Award, Lott Trophy, SEC Defensive Player of the Year and a unanimous All-American.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">The best defensive player in college football &#8230; again ?<br><br>Will Anderson Jr. repeats as the Nagurski Award winner ?<br><br>(?: <a href="https://twitter.com/AlabamaFTBL?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@AlabamaFTBL</a>) <a href="https://t.co/3uvCorU3Jm">pic.twitter.com/3uvCorU3Jm</a></p>&mdash; SEC Network (@SECNetwork) <a href="https://twitter.com/SECNetwork/status/1600153145895690241?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">December 6, 2022</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>STRENGTHS:</strong> <strong>Physical Skills</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If you can make an NFL player in the lab, Will Anderson Jr comes to mind. He has everything that makes him a multi-time Pro Bowl player when he turns pro. His first step is elite and gives opposing teams nightmares to plan and defend. His hands are incredible as he knows how to use them depending on the situation. Will has an intense motor that never goes down. Whoever drafts him will have a reliable defensive player for years to come.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Best player in college football and still decides to compete today (when he could of sat and done nothing). That’s the player you’ll get when you draft Will Anderson Jr.</p>&mdash; Nicole Lynn (@AgentNicoleLynn) <a href="https://twitter.com/AgentNicoleLynn/status/1631454289028587520?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">March 3, 2023</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>WEAKNESSES:</strong> <strong>Needs To Add More Pass-Rush Moves</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This isn&#8217;t a serious weakness as Anderson is one of the most skilled players in the draft. However, the difference in athleticism and skill is much more apparent in the NFL compared to college. Adding more moves will make him a much more difficult matchup for any offensive line.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>PLAYER COMPARISON:</strong> <strong><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/B/BarrSh00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-03-05_pfr">Shaquil Barrett</a></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>TEAMS WHO COULD DRAFT HIM</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Will Anderson Jr is a lock to be a top 5 pick when the NFL draft begins. He appears to be the second defensive player taken after Jalen Carter. Whoever picks Anderson will get one of the top talents in the draft. He could be a game-changer for the Cardinals at 3rd with <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/W/WattJ.00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;amp;utm_campaign=2023-03-05_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">J.J. Watt</a>&#8216;s retirement. If QBs do rule the first few picks, Seattle at 5th would be a nice place for him, especially after the amazing year their rookies had.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Anthony Richardson is a QB prospect out of Gainesville, Florida. He played for Eastside where he threw for 37 TDs and ran for 41 TDs. Rivals listed him as a four-star prospect and the sixth-best QB in his class. He committed to play for the University of Florida Gators.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Florida QB Anthony Richardson in High School?<br><br>There’s nothing this man can’t do<br><br> <a href="https://t.co/PXUtDpLLw2">pic.twitter.com/PXUtDpLLw2</a></p>&mdash; PFF College (@PFF_College) <a href="https://twitter.com/PFF_College/status/1438850744690651141?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">September 17, 2021</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>COLLEGE CAREER</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Anthony Richardson had a slow start to his career. He redshirted as a freshman and played in only a couple of games. As a redshirt freshman, he and Emory Jones battled it out for the starting QB spot. Emory, however, won it but Richardson played a few more games and started getting more reps.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>2022-2023 COLLEGE CAREER</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In his 3rd year, he and Emory battled it out again for the starting QB slot. Richardson had fully recovered from a knee procedure. Anthony won the spot and Emory decided to transfer out to Arizona State. As the starting QB for Florida, he was electrifying, showcasing his arm strength and running ability. He started his season with a big-time win over number 7 Utah where he ran for 106 yards and three TDs. His best game of the year came against number 11 Tennessee. He threw for 453 yards and two TDs and ran for 62 yards and two TDs.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Anthony Richardson vs Tennessee, watch him in the pocket avoid the pressure and still get the throw off. </div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>STRENGTHS:</strong> <strong>Elite Physical Specimen</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">What makes him special is his physical tools which cannot be taught. Standing 6&#8217;4&#8243; and 238 lbs, he&#8217;s one of the biggest people on the field. He has speed that will wow in the 40 yard dash and can throw a football 75 yards. It helps that the QB might be the fastest player on the field. A lot of <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/search/search.fcgi?pid=AlleJo02,AlleJo03,AlleJo00&amp;amp;search=Josh+Allen&amp;amp;utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-02-27_pfr">Josh Allen</a> can be seen in the pre-draft workout process.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">ANTHONY RICHARDSON WITH AN UNREAL RUN ?? <br><br>The speed &amp; bouncing off defenders for the 81 yard TD ?<a href="https://t.co/31wcsnsQ0r">pic.twitter.com/31wcsnsQ0r</a></p>&mdash; RanDynasty (@ran_dynasty) <a href="https://twitter.com/ran_dynasty/status/1581460763130359808?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">October 16, 2022</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>WEAKNESSES:</strong> <strong>Limited Experience</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Anthony Richardson only started one season at Florida. His performance showed areas where he can improve. First, the decision-making needs to improve. There were instances when he held the ball for too long or doesn&#8217;t figure out the information pre-snap. Even though he is electrifying, his form when throwing the ball can be inconsistent. He will need time to develop.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">When asked what he values in a quarterback, Shane Steichen said:<br><br>&#8211; Accuracy<br>&#8211; Decision making<br>&#8211; Ability to create<br>&#8211; Obsession with winning<br><br>To me, that screams Bryce Young and CJ Stroud.</p>&mdash; Andrew Moore (@AndrewMooreNFL) <a href="https://twitter.com/AndrewMooreNFL/status/1625551649094737920?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">February 14, 2023</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>PLAYER COMPARISON:</strong> <strong><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/search/search.fcgi?pid=NewtCa00,NewtCa20&amp;amp;search=Cam+Newton&amp;amp;utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-02-27_pfr">Cam Newton</a></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>TEAMS WHO COULD DRAFT HIM</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Anthony Richardson is the draft&#8217;s most exciting player. After being mostly the fourth QB taken, a mock draft by CBS had him picked first by the Indianapolis Colts. This changed even in the gambling sites as his odds have drastically improved. A lot will depend on the pro day and draft combine where he can showcase his skills. Among the QBs, he has the biggest potential on the run. But, he still needs time to develop to be a more pro-QB in the NFL.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Will Levis is a quarterback prospect out of Middleton Connecticut. As a senior, he threw for 2,793 yards and 27 TDs. According to Rivals, he was listed as a three-star recruit and the 30th best at his position. He signed to play for the Penn State Nittany Lions out of high school. He became known for his unique eating habits such as drinking coffee with mayonnaise and bananas while unpeeled.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Wow. Mayo in coffee, and bananas with the peel on them. Will Levis, y’all.. <a href="https://t.co/UxsSqHhCbT">pic.twitter.com/UxsSqHhCbT</a></p>&mdash; John Dunn (@JxhnDunn) <a href="https://twitter.com/JxhnDunn/status/1549909152415289346?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">July 21, 2022</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>COLLEGE CAREER</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Levis attended Penn State for three years. He redshirted as a freshman and spent two years behind Penn State QB Sean Clifford. After playing sparingly at Penn State, he decided to transfer after Year 3 to Kentucky. At Penn State, he rushed for six TDs and 473 yards. In his first year at Kentucky, he led them to a 10-3 record with 2,826 passing yards and 24 TDs. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Will Levis&#39; Citrus Bowl cleats from <a href="https://twitter.com/truebluecustoms?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@truebluecustoms</a> have the names of the 77 people who lost their lives in the Western Kentucky tornadoes. He&#39;ll auction the shoes off for tornado relief after the game. <a href="https://t.co/AS7sMW4EJ5">https://t.co/AS7sMW4EJ5</a> <a href="https://t.co/rmWuGT2KgB">pic.twitter.com/rmWuGT2KgB</a></p>&mdash; Nick Roush (@RoushKSR) <a href="https://twitter.com/RoushKSR/status/1477303056085798914?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">January 1, 2022</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>2022-2023 COLLEGE CAREER</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A lot of expectations were on Will Levis as he was slotted in mock drafts even before the season started. Many scouts and analysts pegged him as one of the QBs to watch for the upcoming season. He led Kentucky to a 4-0 record start and was ranked by that time. His best performance in that span was against Youngstown where he threw for 377 yards. Against the big schools, 1 Georgia and 3 Tennessee, Will struggled to score just 12 points combined and threw one TD in those big games.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>STRENGTHS:</strong> <strong>Physical Specimen</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Will Levis is the most physically-imposing QB prospect in this class. When scouts see him, he could be the top QB in this year&#8217;s draft. He&#8217;s 6&#8217;3&#8243; and 232 lbs, perfect for an NFL QB. He has the strongest arm in this draft class. His arm strength makes him the confidence to throw the ball downfield for a catch. On the run, he is mobile and powerful. Whoever drafts him, can mold him into <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/search/search.fcgi?pid=AlleJo02,AlleJo03,AlleJo00&amp;amp;search=Josh+Allen&amp;amp;utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-02-24_pfr">Josh Allen</a> in a way.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">

</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>WEAKNESSES:</strong> <strong>Inconsistency</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">During the season, there were times when Will Levis looked like a possible Heisman candidate. There were times when he struggled greatly and made Kentucky look questionable. Not everything is to be blamed on him such as his inconsistent offensive line, which forced him to have moments of being unsure. But protecting the ball will be key for him. If he can put a little less on his throws for accuracy and protect the ball on the run, he can be a real threat to be the best QB in this class. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Will Levis vs Georgia Analysis <a href="https://t.co/8qYImLrSNW">https://t.co/8qYImLrSNW</a> via <a href="https://twitter.com/YouTube?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@YouTube</a><a href="https://twitter.com/Colts?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@Colts</a> please don’t trade him please</p>&mdash; GLOGodBITO (@GLOGod30) <a href="https://twitter.com/GLOGod30/status/1627549556857511937?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">February 20, 2023</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>PLAYER COMPARISON:</strong> <strong><a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/W/WinsJa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-02-24_pfr">Jameis Winston</a></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>TEAMS WHO COULD DRAFT HIM</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There&#8217;s a lot of love for Will Levis as he is a top-10 pick in all mock drafts. His size and physical traits make him a popular choice as one mock draft even had him going first overall. With all the QBs available or possibly available even before the draft, it will be very interesting to see who will draft Will Levis. The usual culprits are the Colts at 4th overall and the Raiders at 7th overall.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Quentin Johnston is a wide receiver from the state of Texas. As a high school prospect, he was the 80th overall prospect according to Rivals and was a four-star recruit. Originally, he was committed to playing for the Texas Longhorns but decided to change his commitment to the TCU Horned Frogs. Fun fact: He played baseball and track &amp;amp; field also in high school.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>COLLEGE CAREER</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The TCU wide receiver had early success as a true freshman. He had 487 yards on 22 catches and two TDs. Averaging 22.13 yards per catch, he is the current record-holder for average yards per catch by a freshman in the Big 12. His stock improved the year after as he caught 33 passes for 612 yards and six TDs. This performance earned him a First-Team All-Big 12 in 2021.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>2022-2023 COLLEGE CAREER</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A lot of expectations were on Johnson as multiple outlets had him as a possible 1st round pick even before the season started. Quentin was able to live up to those expectations with an amazing junior season. He was the best weapon on offense as he caught 60 passes for 1069 yards and six TDs. The receptions and yards are all career highs. His best game came against the #19 Kansas Jayhawks where he caught 14 passes for 206 yards and a TD.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">TCU kept on winning and winning and they made their way to the #3 ranked team when the College Football Playoff started. Against the #2 ranked Michigan Wolverines, Quentin had a big game with six receptions for 163 yards and a TD. In the National Championship Game against the #1 ranked Georgia Bulldogs, the defense stopped TCU as Johnson had just a catch for three yards.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>STRENGTHS: Size</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There are not many WRs available that have the physical qualities of Quentin Johnston. He is listed at 6&#8217;4&#8243; and 215 lbs and isn&#8217;t just a big target. He can accelerate and create separation against defensive backs. His movements are fluid, making him even more difficult to defend. Even if his stats don&#8217;t shout 1st rounder, his potential and gifts can overcome it.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>WEAKNESSES: Durability</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In his college career, Quentin has had to miss some games due to injury. This has been ongoing and is a concern, especially in the 1st round. As the injuries pile up, the body isn&#8217;t the same so hopefully, proper training and guidance in the NFL can help him overcome his durability concerns.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>PLAYER COMPARISON: <a href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/search/search.fcgi?pid=GreeA.00,GreeAJ00&amp;search=A.J.+Green&amp;utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-02-10_pfr" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">A.J. Green</a></strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>TEAMS WHO COULD DRAFT HIM</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Quentin Johnston&#8217;s stock and position in NFL mock drafts are all over the place. Experts have him as high as 14th to the New England Patriots. Another has him slotted 22nd to the Baltimore Ravens. There will always be a need for a big-body WR in the NFL. I can foresee him as high as 11th to the Tennessee Titans who lost <a rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.pro-football-reference.com/search/search.fcgi?pid=override,BrowAJ00&amp;amp;search=A.J.+Brown&amp;amp;utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=profootballmania.com&amp;utm_campaign=2023-02-10_pfr">A.J. Brown</a> in last year&#8217;s preseason. In order to improve his stock, an impressive pro day and draft combine could see him slotted in the early half of the 1st round.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Hello and welcome to the inaugural edition of the 2023 NFL Draft Focus. In this series, we will take a look at the incoming prospects who are hoping for their names to be heard on draft night. Be sure to check often as we will produce content until the event&#8217;s start.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>BACKGROUND</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">C.J. Stroud is a quarterback prospect from California. He attended Rancho Cucamonga High School, where he became known as one of the top QBs of his class. As a senior, he was named the Sun/Bulletin Offensive Player of the Year when he threw 3,878 passing yards and 47 TDs. In the famous Elite 11 camp, he was named MVP in 2019. Rivals listed him as a 4-star prospect and ranked #51 in the nation and #3 QB in the country. He committed to play for Ohio State.</p>

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Here is CJ Stroud throwing nothing but dimes on his way to winning Elite 11 MVP<br><br>Excited to see what this QB Battle this offseason brings us <br><br> <a href="https://t.co/Bsfq8TIM4c">pic.twitter.com/Bsfq8TIM4c</a></p>&mdash; The Victory Bell (@VictoryBellOSU) <a href="https://twitter.com/VictoryBellOSU/status/1351229053169258497?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">January 18, 2021</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>COLLEGE CAREER</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As a freshman in 2020, C.J. Stroud sat on the bench and redshirted for Justin Fields. The year after, he won the starting QB job, impressing HC Ryan Day in the process. He threw for 4,424 yards and 44 TDs to just 4 INTs. He won multiple awards including the Big Ten&#8217;s Graham-George Offensive Player of the Year and was a Heisman Finalist. The Ohio State QB was getting a lot of praise and many were eager to see how he would perform the next year. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">CJ Stroud is the most accurate deep passer in College Football (55%)<a href="https://t.co/0OGbo8kHM3">pic.twitter.com/0OGbo8kHM3</a></p>&mdash; PFF College (@PFF_College) <a href="https://twitter.com/PFF_College/status/1473292179875393538?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">December 21, 2021</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>2022-2023 COLLEGE CAREER</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There was a lot of preseason hype with C.J. Stroud and Ohio State as he was one of the early favorites to be the Heisman Trophy Winner and Ohio State as a team capable of making it to the College Football Playoffs. They lived up to the hype as they were about to face Michigan in a battle for the Big Ten. Michigan was dominant as they handed Ohio State their first loss and potentially out of the College Football Playoffs. Stroud threw for 349 yards and two TDs while throwing two interceptions. Lady luck was on their side however as USC lost as the #4 seed and it bumped Ohio State as the last team in the playoffs. For the second year in a row, C.J. Stroud was also named a Heisman finalist.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">My weekly CJ STROUD FOR HEISMAN tweet… <a href="https://t.co/AiVKKT4BRe">pic.twitter.com/AiVKKT4BRe</a></p>&mdash; Mr. Ohio (@MrOH1O) <a href="https://twitter.com/MrOH1O/status/1590164800285609984?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">November 9, 2022</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">C.J. Stroud tore up the vaulted Georgia defense. He made all the throws and showed his mobility to extend the plays and drives. People were hyped as the chances of a potential upset were brewing as Ohio State was up 38-24 at the end of the 3rd. Sadly, Georgia made a big comeback and had some calls go their way as Ohio State was down to a field goal attempt to win the game. The kicker missed the FG and Georgia won and advanced 42-41. In another timeline, we could be seeing Ohio State win the National Championship over TCU.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Idk if a single game has ever influenced my opinion of a player like this performance from CJ Stroud <a href="https://t.co/i98AzADy4z">pic.twitter.com/i98AzADy4z</a></p>&mdash; James Foster (@NoFlagsFilm) <a href="https://twitter.com/NoFlagsFilm/status/1611463409505017881?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">January 6, 2023</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
</div></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>PLAYER COMPARISON: Justin Herbert</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>TEAMS WHO COULD DRAFT HIM</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Now, C.J. Stroud&#8217;s draft range varies in the top 10 as he ranges from 2nd to even the 4th QB taken. <strong>Houston at 2, Colts at 4, Lions at 6, Raiders at 7, and Panthers at 9</strong> are all in desperate need of a QB. It is possible that a team trades up for the first pick in order to get the services of a QB. For Stroud&#8217;s stock to improve, look for the pro days and draft combine as a way to impress the scouts and the competition. I think he deserves to be in consideration for the #1 pick in the NFL Draft.</p>
