Quarterbacks

Joe Burrow $6,200

This season has been as tough as they come for Burrow, dealing with a seemingly debilitating calf injury, he has been one of the least productive players in all of fantasy. Getting healthier each week, stating he feels the best he has all season, going against an average defense in Arizona, this is your week Joe Burrow. Great opportunity to stack at $6,200 with an excellent chance to 4x and get you 25 points today.

Daniel Jones $5,800

Sticking with the redemption theme we have Daniel Jones. Coming off an 11 sack game where the Giants offense as a whole looked abysmal, there’s huge redemption opportunity here with a Dolphins defense that’s giving up almost 30 point a game. I expect there to be a lot of points in this game as the Giants will likely struggle to stop the explosive Tua led offense, Daniel Jones will have the ball in his hands a lot. At under $6000, Jones could post a 25 total today and get you that 4x value.

Matthew Stafford $5,600

Another game that I expect to have a lot of points, the Rams and the Eagles are the two highest paced teams in the league. There are going to be a lot of plays in this game, the Eagles are a very good run team, Stafford could throw the ball 50 times today. Cooper Kupp returns this week, insert Thanos meme here, giving Stafford a familiar weapon to go to in the red zone. Under $6,000 against an Eagles defense that’s giving up over 260 passing yards per game this year and over 22 points, 25 points seems very attainable.

Running Backs

David Montgomery $6,600

Coming off a huge game where he touched the ball 34 times, his price only went up $800 from last week. Jahmyr Gibbs is now doubtful for this game, as well as Amon Ra St. Brown, Montgomery could be in line for even more touches than last week. I don’t know if I can make a lineup and not include Montgomery today, while he might not get to 37 points again, 25 seems very possible. Carolina allows 136 yards per game on the ground, give me Montgomery today.

Joe Mixon $6,400

This could be the week Joe Mixon has that week. You know what week I’m talking about. Every year he has a game where after middling for a few weeks, scores two TDs and hits 100 yards. As mentioned before, the Arizona defense is not great, giving up 132 yards per game on the ground. I could see Mixon hitting pay dirt today as this offense gets back on track. I also could see more passing work for Mixon with Tee Higgins out today.

Breece Hall $5,400

Robert Saleh came out and said that the reigns are off for Hall, and he will no longer have a limited snap count. What a week to get such news, as the Jets take a trip out to Denver. A land where running backs run free, and touchdowns are handed out like candy on Halloween. I would expect a 20 touch day from Hall, and against this defense, should yield a very productive day at a very low price.

Bijan Robinson $7,700

Typically I don’t like to pay up for the top RB, because Christian McCaffery is so expensive. Bijan Robinson reminds me a lot of CMC in Carolina. Doesn’t have a very strong QB or passing catching options around him, yet seems to somehow find a way to make big plays happen. He needs to get you 30 points today to return that 4x, and he’s very capable against Houston today that is much better against the pass than the run.

Wide Receivers

Jaylen Waddle $7,500

Jaylen Waddle feels like the only player on Miami’s offense that hasn’t scored a touchdown this season. I believe they correct this stat today. The Giants defense gives up big plays and Waddle is one of the best big play guys in the league. Whether it’s a screen that goes for 50, or a reverse play where he rushes for 30 yards, Waddle will get in the end zone today. Another guy that’s got to get to 30 points for ROI, but he’s more than capable, and I believe will be a point to get him going.

Wan’Dale Robinson $3,000 Super value alert ?

Coming back from an ACL tear in week 11 last year, Robinson is really just getting his season going. This will be his third game of the year, and last week he looked like he was ready to break one. In a game where the Giants looked awful, Wan’Dale Robinson stood out. When could see double digit targets in a game we already said was going to be high scoring. Stack him with Danny Dimes today for a super cheap start for your lineups.

Zay Flowers $5,500

It seems on odd weeks Lamar Jackson throws the ball to Zay Flowers 10 times. The number 5 is odd right? Another player chasing his first touchdown of the season, today seems like a great day to get it. The Steelers defense is giving up over 400 yards per game this year, and there’s not a lot of options outside of Andrews and Jackson that scare you on this offense. I expect a huge target day for Flowers today.

Rams Receivers Cooper Kupp $8,600 Puka Nacua $7,700 Tutu Atwell $5,300

As mentioned earlier, the Eagles defense can be thrown on, and today I expect the Rams to throw, a lot. Priced as high as they are, it will be tough, although not impossible to pair Nacua and Kupp. I will likely try to build a lineup with all of the Rams in it, I also think the Eagles are on upset alert in this game. Kupp scores touchdowns, if you’re going to pick one, he would be my pick.

Rashee Rice $3,600

Another huge value alert, as we honestly are throwing a dart at one of these Chiefs receivers. Patrick Mahomes can make any receiver have a day in this offense and against the Swiss cheese Vikings secondary, there will be opportunities for these receivers. Rice is seeing more consistent targets and seems to be the most possession like receiver the Chiefs have. He would be the guy I would see getting in the end zone, but I could see a big play from Justin Watson, MVS, or Sky Moore.

Tight Ends

Sam LaPorta $5,000

With St. Brown and Gibbs out for this game, LaPorta is in a great spot to eclipse his season high 11 targets. That game he had 8 catches for 84 yards and a TD. A very similar stat line may be on tap today.

Dalton Schultz $3,400

Schultz hasn’t quite captured the magic he had in Dallas last season, but last week he got into the end zone for the first time and eclipsed 40 yards. Atlanta has a solid defense that can get after the QB, Schultz may have a big check down game as the rookie needs to get the ball out safely.

Taysom Hill $3,100

Last week, it appeared as if Derek Carr could not throw the ball very deep downfield. If Hill is used as a tight end, he may see a career high in catches. I’m banking on Hill getting more snaps rushing, and perhaps throwing a few passes today.

Defenses

Detroit Lions $3,800

Rookie QB on the road, check. Not a lot of weapons offensively that scare you, check. Averaging over 3 sacks a game, check. Great chance at a huge day.

Baltimore Ravens $4,200

Injured opposing QB in a division rival game where historically the defenses have shined lead me to believing the Ravens could grab a pick six today.

Houston Texans $3,500

Desmond Ridder is in competition as one of the worst looking QBs in the league. They are averaging a league worst 156 passing yards per game, outside of Bijan Robinson, not much scares you here. Another team with pick six potential today.

Quarterbacks

Joe Burrow $6,500

Burrow comes in with his best matchup of the season. The Titans having given up 300 yards through the air in 2 out 3 games this year, and Burrow is coming off a 49 attempt game. With the running game struggling against one of the best run defenses in the league, this will be the game the Cincinnati offense gets going.

Justin Herbert $7,800

The Chargers run game has been nearly nonexistent this season without Austin Ekeler, and Herbert has responded well. The number one scoring QB this season, throwing the ball over 40 times the past two games, the volume is there for him every week. There’s a chance the get the run game going against the Raiders today, but if they don’t, Herbert will be worth paying up for.

Bryce Young $5,200

Coming back from an ankle injury, Bryce Young is presented with his best matchup of his young career. Miles Sanders is coming in with a Q tag and will likely be limited giving Young plenty of opportunity to throw and run a little more. The Vikings come in giving up 27.3 points per game this year, if Young can capitalize he will be the top value play on the slate.

Justin Fields $6,600

One last chance, plain and simple. Everyone is going to be off Fields this week, and for good reason, but we just watched the Denver defense give up 350 yards on the ground. The Broncos are traditionally a man team and I feel like Fields is going to have a ton of lanes to run. I can see Fields getting in end zone at least once, opening up a Mooney big play TD.

Running Backs

Javonte Williams $5,500

The last thing the Broncos want on the field this week is their defense. I expect Williams to touch the ball for over 20 times for the first time this year. With that opportunity against a Bears defense that gave up 150 yards last week and over 4 yards per carry to the Chiefs, we could see a 100 yard game with a TD.

Kyren Williams $6,000

The unquestioned workhorse of this backfield, Williams should be in line for 20 plus touches against a Colts defense that is giving up over 114 yards on the ground this year. You are chasing the opportunity here, and if game script goes well for LA, Williams should have a 100 yards potential game with some red zone usage.

Joshua Kelley $5,300

Just like with Justin Fields, this is the last chance for Joshua Kelley. If Ekeler misses this game, Kelley will go up against the Raiders defense that will likely be on the field for most of this game. With Garoppolo out for this game, the Chargers have a chance to run away with this game putting Kelley in great position to handle 20 carries today. If he hits a big run for a TD, he could sneakily have some top 3 potential.

Christian McCaffrey $9,200 Elijah Mitchell $4,600

McCaffrey is the most expensive running back for a reason. Hands down the most consistent running back that has scored a touchdown in every game of his 49ers career. There’s not much to say, he’s amazing, but could he be out of the game by the second half due to being up big? I could see Elijah Mitchell coming in and having a huge day in relief. If you are looking to pay up at other positions. Mitchell could end up in the end zone twice today in garbage time and result in a great return on his price.

Wide Receivers

Ja’Marr Chase $7,800 Tee Higgins $6,800

Just like with Joe Burrow earlier, I’m all in on the Bengals passing game this week. The Titans are one of the best run defenses in the league, but contrarily, they can’t stop anyone in the air. I imagine Chase and Higgins each having double digit targets today and will not let you down. The Titans have given up a 100 yard receiver in every game this year and they will likely give up two today.

Elijah Moore $4,700

Last week Moore had 9 catches last week and 3 carries, while he was wildly ineffective last week, this week he will turn those touches into a big play. Moore is a great value play as you will not find a lot of WR with as many touches at that price. Chase the volume here.

Adam Thielen $4,500

Revenge game on tap for Adam Thielen. While he didn’t have a bad departure from Minnesota, you have to imagine it would feel good to have a great game against his former team. Another great value play coming off 14 targets last week, I would imagine he’s closer to 10 targets today, but he’s the number one red zone option for this offense with a red zone TD in two straight games.

A.J. Brown $7,700

Two weeks ago Brown was seen frustrated on the sideline for his lack of involvement. Last week Brown dropped a TD and was fed 14 targets. I don’t think we get a repeat of 14 targets, but a highly efficient 10 could be on tap. I imagine Jalen Hurts wants to get Brown that first TD of the season today at home.

Nico Collins $5,100

Tank Dell will be a very popular pick after the huge breakout game last week. This week, Stroud will need to lean on his top possession receiver as the Steelers front is crashing the gates. Collins should see double digit targets today and any time they are in the red zone, they are looking his way.

Marvin Mims Jr. $3,900

One of the better value plays on the board, Mims has received more and more opportunities every week. A big TD catch waiting to happen, he will have his chances in a potential redemption game for the Broncos today. Five targets last week, rushing attempts in the last two weeks, and the return man, Mims will have the ball in his hands enough to warrant this price for me.

Tight Ends

Gerald Everett $3,600

One of the potential players that could see an increase in targets with Mike Williams going down last week, Everett could see some of that red zone work that went to Parham Jr. One trip to the end zone gives you a solid return on Everett’s price.

Logan Thomas $3,100

Linebackers are the biggest weakness for the Eagles defense. They don’t cover very well and typically can be had across the middle of the field. If Sam Howell can have any time to throw, Thomas should see close to double digit targets as he’s already established himself as a favorite target for Howell.

Pat Freiermuth $3,400

There’s a chance this game is a low scoring defensive affair, and if that’s the case, we could finally see Pat Freiermuth finally get some volume as they try to get the ball out of Kenny Pickett’s hands quickly.

Defenses

Philadelphia Eagles $4,100

The Eagles defense has looked better each week, and this week they get a young QB on the road that just scored 3 points last week. This could look like the Cowboys defense in week 1.

Baltimore Ravens $3,200

With Deshaun Watson banged up there’s a chance he doesn’t make it through the whole game, meaning the Ravens could be facing the Dorian Thompson-Robinson at some point in this game. Big turnover potential today for this defense, even if Watson plays the whole game.

Pittsburgh Steelers $3,900

T.J. Watt against a rookie QB and a poor offensive line. That’s all you need. 13 sacks in 3 games, this defense will travel well.

Quarterbacks

Justin Herbert – $7000

My number one quarterback on the main slate is going to be Justin Herbert. The Titans possess one of the best defenses in the league against the run, and Austin Ekeler is out this week, therefore we are going to watch Herbert cook. The Titans do not have a great secondary as we just watched Derek Car go for over 300 yards last week. I fully expect Herbert to get over 300 yards with at least 2 TDs.

Patrick Mahomes – $8300

In what could end up as the biggest shootout of the week, projected total 51 points, Mahomes is looking to rebound from a week 1 loss that saw him somewhat underperform. There won’t be many games that Mahomes throws the ball 40 times and him not get you 30 fantasy points. Last week Anthony Richardson had over 250 total yards and 2 TDs against this defense. Great stack opportunities with a lot of cheap chiefs pass catchers.

Baker Mayfield – $5100

Yes, that Baker Mayfield. I mentioned him last week that he had a great chance at throwing 2 TDs, and we are going right back to it. Great weapons on the outside, and a running game that isn’t getting off the ground, Baker is in another great position against the Bears. We just saw Jordan Love throw for 245 and 3 TDs, so it’s not unreal to see Baker eclipse 20 points this week. If you want to play the studs at RB and WR, this is your QB.

Running Backs

Derrick Henry – $7400

Every year we find a game that Derrick Henry is incredibly underpriced. This is that game. The King goes against a defense in the Chargers that historically struggles to stop the run, 31st in yards allowed last year. Ryan Tannehill does not look great, so you have to imagine the game script is going to involve a lot of Derrick Henry. I expect the King to return top 3 RB numbers today.

Saquon Barkley – $8000

Essentially removed from the game script last week before halftime, there are huge bounce back opportunity in a game where the Giants should control the game. The Arizona Cardinals showed last week that they can rush the QB, and Daniel Jones did not look very good against a pass rush. I expect Barkley to touch the ball 25+ times in this game, and we chase opportunity in fantasy more than anything. Barkley will have the best opportunity than any RB on the slate today top the leaderboard today.

AJ Dillon – $5900

Aaron Jones is not expected to play giving Dillon an excellent chance today to really showcase himself as a bell cow back. Jones had 127 total yards last week as the RB is a vital tool in the success of this offense. Dillon should see most of the work in the passing game as well as 20+ rushing attempts, putting him in a great position for 18+ fantasy points today.

Zack Moss – $4700

Moss is coming back from a fractured forearm in the preseason and will get the start for the Colts today against the Texans. Last week Deon Jackson looked incapable averaging 1.1 yards per carry. Zach Moss will have all the chances to own this backfield in the interim of Jonathan Taylor’s hiatus, and it starts today against a Texans defense that allowed over 100 and 3 TDs against the Ravens last week. If Moss gets in the end zone, he will return a great score on his $4700 price.

Wide Receivers

Keenan Allen – $7100

If you are playing Justin Herbert, you are stacking him with Keenan Allen today. With Austin Ekeler out, Allen could see 15 targets against a Swiss cheese Titans secondary. Last week he had 6 catches for 76 yards on 9 targets, and we realistically could double all those numbers with a score today. Throw in a touchdown and Allen could return 25 points today. Mike Williams ($5700) is another great stack play as the three of them could put you in a great spot in tournaments.

Calvin Ridley – $7200

Last week Ridley brought in 8 of 11 targets for 101 yards as it looked like Trevor Lawrence was enjoying having Ridley on the field. The clear number one option in a game where the Jaguars will be looking to keep up with Mahomes and company, Ridley could be in line for another huge game.

Chris Godwin – $6200

Chris Godwin operates out of the slot for the Buccaneers and the Bears starting slot corner will be out for this game. That sounds like a recipe for disaster for the Bears. 5 catches 51 yards on 6 targets last week and we could be looking at double those numbers with a TD. I love a Mayfield Evans Godwin stack today.

Gabriel Davis – $5800

Last week Stefon Diggs went off against a much better Jets defense, so why would you play Gabe Davis? Many are expecting a bounce back performance from Josh Allen, and the Raiders defense can be had. They will be game planning to stop Diggs and Davis should have a lot of territory to work on Sunday. Some of the best Josh Allen performances are when Gabe Davis booms, we could be looking at one of those coming here.

Tight Ends

Darren Waller – $5500

Waller is third highest priced TE on the slate today, but still priced well below Kelce $7600. I mentioned earlier that Jones did not look great against the pass rush last week, therefore the Giants should be looking to get the ball out of his hands quickly. The Giants should be able to get into the red zone, unlike last week giving Waller great opportunity to score. The Giants love throwing to the TE in the red zone, and they haven’t had a weapon like Waller at TE in a long time.

Sam LaPorta – $3900

Last week LaPorta saw 5 targets against the Chiefs and looked like a very capable playmaker hauling in all 5. The Seahawks did not look like a solid defense last week and I believe the Lions will put up some points. Jared Goff loves to go to the TE historically in the red zone and I could see LaPorta scoring today which would give a great return at a low price.

Logan Thomas – $3100

This one is pretty simple, young QBs love them some TEs. Thomas saw 8 targets last week, and if that continues, you can’t ignore that target share at that price.

Defense/Special Teams

Dallas Cowboys – $4000

Do we expect a repeat performance of last weeks Earth shattering 37 point game? Of course not, but could we actually see it? We all know what Zach Wilson is and we could see another game with a lot of sacks and turnover potential. I don’t expect this defense to disappoint at this price.

New York Jets – $2700

While the Dallas defense made the Giants defense unplayable last week, I can’t imagine a repeat performance happening. The Jets defense just made Josh Allen look like Dak Prescott, what do you think they are going to make Dak look like? The potential is Nathan Peterman. We honestly could see the Jets do to the Cowboys, what the Cowboys did to the Giants last week.

Atlanta Falcons – $2900

Call it a hunch, I think Jordan Love comes back to Earth a bit and turns the ball over against the Falcons. Atlanta can run the ball and control the clock putting Love in position to have to make plays and potentially make mistakes. I think Atlanta is a sneaky play to be a top defense this week.

The Vikings defense certainly isn’t one that worries you, and the Eagles defense is dealing with injuries on all levels. With a lot of high priced talent on the field, finding the value plays, mixed with the studs, in this game is what will help you cash out. Good luck to everyone out there, let’s go make that money.

Captain Plays

Jalen Hurts QB $17,100 ($11,400)

Last week against both the weather and a game Patriots defense, Hurts struggled to find the big play that made him such an amazing fantasy option last year. Neither of these factors will be in play as the weather should be great for the game, and the Vikings are not a great defense. The reason you would play Hurts at captain is if you believe he will score on the ground, which I believe might happen more than once.

Kirk Cousins QB $13,800 ($9,200)

As mentioned earlier, the Eagles defense is banged up and will be missing two key pieces of their secondary. We saw Mac Jones throw for 316 yards and 3 TDs against this defense last week, and Cousins has far more explosive weapons at his disposal. If you think Cousins spreads the ball around and tosses TDs to all different guys, he will be your play.

D’Andre Swift RB $6000 ($4,000)

Hard to trust a guy that saw only three opportunities to touch the ball last week, but with Kenneth Gainwell out, there’s a chance we see the D’Andre Swift that we all invested in behind this offense line. I believe he gets the first crack, and if Swift can get something going, he could be in line for a huge day that results in an incredible return on his price. I do believe there’s chance he is highly owned today, but his price allows you to get a lot of other guys in your lineup.

Justin Jefferson WR $18,600 ($12,400)

The highest price player on the slate, coming off a 9 catch 150 yard performance, in a game where the offense as a whole struggles, does not scare you away from playing JJ. It would take a legendary day to return on that price, but JJ could be in line for a huge day with multiple TDs.

Eagles D/ST $6,600 ($4,400)

Three words, Prime Time Cousins. Last year against this defense, albeit a different rendition, Cousins threw 3 INTs, was sacked twice and fumbled once. The Eagles don’t offer a lot in terms of Special Teams, but the pressure they can generate could lead to a sacks and turnovers. The last two Primetime games featured defenses that won their respective games, we could be in line for a third.

Quarterbacks

QB Derek Carr $5300
Derek Carr plays against the Titans today whom were 29th in the league in fantasy points to opposing QBs last year. Allowing 274.8 YPG through the air, ranking dead last at 32nd this Titans team didn’t do a whole lot to improve their secondary. They are great up front as they were the number 1 defense against the run last year. Carr is my favorite stack play of the day.

QB Justin Herbert $6900
This game has the highest over under of any game on the slate today. Two high powered offenses with a whole lot of talent, and two defenses while boasting many talented players, do give up a lot of points. Dolphins gave up 23.2 PPG while the Chargers gave up 22.7. Herbert could be in line for a QB1 performance as the Dolphins were 30th in the league last year in fantasy points per game allowed to QBs.

Dart Throws at QB
Desmond Ridder/Baker Mayfield $4900
If you’re looking to play a lot of high priced studs, I can see either of these guys throwing for 2 TDs today.

Running Backs

RB JK Dobbins $6600
Finally healthy with a lot more weapons on the outside will mean that Dobbins will be in an excellent position to succeed. He should see less men in the box as there is more attention paid to the pass catchers in this offense. Dobbins also gets a juicy opportunity against the team that allowed the most rushing yards(170.2) and fantasy points(28.5) to RB per game last year in the Houston Texans.

RB Raheem Mostert $5400
The Chargers allowed 144.2 YPG on the ground last year as they were one of three teams to give up over 2000 yards last year. With Jeff Wilson Jr going on IR the only competition he will really have in the backfield will be rookie Devin Achane. He could be in line for a 100 yard game with a TD.

RB Brian Robinson Jr $5100
The Cardinals are going to be bad this year, and not in the good way. They ranked 29th in fantasy points against RBs as they gave up a lot of over 100 receptions to RBs last year. I expect a huge day in check downs on top of his work on the ground.

Gus Edwards $4500

Wide Receivers

WR Chris Olave $6500
If Derek Carr is going to dice up this defense, I want to stack him with Olave. As bad as the Titans were against the QB last year, they were the worst against the WR in fantasy, ranking 32nd. I expect multiple Saints receivers to be celebrating in the end zone today, Olave has the best chance at topping 100 yards as well.

WR Justin Jefferson $8800
He was the number 1 player drafted in fantasy for a reason, he’s the highest salaried player for a reason. If you’re playing him, you’re going to need a lot of value plays to match him up. Not much else to say here, he’s amazing.

WR Keenan Allen $7300
I’m expecting a huge bounce back season from Allen as he and Herbert continue to grow their connection. Great matchup to start as Allen should see somewhere near 12 targets today, and a few of those in the red zone.

Dart Throws at WR
Drake London $5400
Michael Thomas $5100
Could see either of these guys in the end zone today.

Tight Ends

TE TJ Hockenson $5900
After trading for Hockenson last year, he quickly became one of Kirk Cousin’s favorite targets. The number two to JJ, in a very solid matchup, Buccaneers ranked 29th against TEs last year. I could see a double digit target number with a TD for Hock today.

TE Greg Dulcich $4000
Sean Payton loves his TE in the red zone, but Dulcich is a solid route runner with above average athleticism. He should have a great year in this system and I would look for him to have a solid return on a low price point today.

TE Logan Thomas $3200
These are the kind of values you need to play other than the higher priced studs. The cliche is a young QB needs a good TE to get the ball out quickly, and I believe the cliche will ring true today. I expect a 8 target day for Logan Thomas and wouldn’t be surprised to see him score.

Dart Throw at TE
Taysom Hill $3700
He could throw a pass, run the ball, and catch the ball. Taysom Hill is the Ultimate Dart Throw.

Defense/ST

D/ST Washington $2800
The Commanders are a better defense than they get credit for. They can pressure the QB and create turnovers. Big upside play.

D/ST Baltimore $4000
Highest defense on the slate, if you have the money left over, don’t be afraid to spend it on the Ravens.

D/ST Eagles $3700
Sacks, sacks, sacks, and of course sacks.
