2024 NFL Picks Week 3

218

Will some teams get redemption this week? Will the Ravens go to 0-3? How will teams navigate key injuries? These are all key questions we’re answering as we enter into Week 3.

Patriots at Jets

I believe the Patriots luck runs out this week as they battle the NY Jets. After winning last week the Jets look to get two in a row. Look for the Pats to give Aaron Rodgers a hard time, but he will still have two touchdown passes as the Jets win 23-14.

Giants at Browns

How bad are the Giants? How bad are the Browns? Well on a positive note the Giants looked OK last week but they were playing the weak Commanders D. In this game, that stiff Browns D will hold the Giants to 10 points and cause 3 turnovers. Taking the Browns in this one, 28-10.

Packers at Titans

There’s a possibility Jordan Love comes back this week. If healthy, they should win this game but look for the Titans D to be pretty stringy. I like the Packers in a close one, 24-21.

Bears at Colts

Caleb Williams has struggled so far along a weak offensive line. The Colts are well coached with a good defense. That defense should cause the Bears a few turnovers. I like the Colts 17-13.

Texans at Vikings

How good are the Vikings behind Sam Darnold? They look good and confident but the Texans D also looks good and is confident. Look for C.J. Stroud to have a big game, throwing for over 250 yards and 3 touchdowns. Texans 30 Vikings 26

Eagles at Saints

Are the Saints for real? They’ve scored on every possession this year. Derek Carr looks like he’s on a mission and looks extremely confident. They battle the Eagles who are coming off a tough loss against the Falcons. I like the Eagles in this one 34-28.

Chargers at Steelers

The Steelers D has been very formidable this year led by TJ Watt. The Steelers are a lot like Jim Harbaugh‘s old team the Michigan Wolverines. They run the ball, play good D and are well coached. Jim knows this and will have an answers against that D. The Chargers win a close one and stay undefeated. Chargers 21 Steelers 17.

Broncos at Bucs

The Bucs look to remain hot against the Bo Nix led Broncos. Baker Mayfield seems to be playing with plenty of confidence. I think in this game their offense will be too much led by Chris Godwin, the #1 receiver in Fantasy so far. Bucs 30 Broncos 13

Panthers at Raiders

Things are not good in Panther land. They just benched their starting QB looking for a spark. That spark won’t ignite this week as they play the Raiders in Vegas. Raiders 28 Panthers 12.

Dolphins at Seahawks

The Tua-less Dolphins stroll into town against the Seahawks. In this game, Seattle will be too tough for the Dolphins and will be pumped up with the home crowd. I like the Seahawks 21-19.

Ravens at Cowboys

Could the Ravens go 0-3? Could the Cowboys lose two in a row at home and go to 1-2. Either one of these scenarios wouldn’t of seemed likely before the season started. Both defenses have the potential to do well, but in this game I believe the Cowboys offense will be a little too much for Baltimore. Cowboys 27 Ravens 21

49ers at Rams

No Deebo, No McCaffrey may seem like a big problem. But enter Jordan Mason who is running with a purpose. Look for the 49ers to win in a close NFC West matchup. 49ers 27 Rams 24.

Lions at Cardinals

Kyler Murray looks pretty good so far this season. With him and Marvin Harrison Jr they look to be a formidable duo. The Lions will put pressure on Murray, but Murray will be able to escape that rush. Look for Murray to have a lot of impromptu plays, where receivers and RB’s will have to come back to the ball and make plays. I like the Cardinals 21-20.

Chiefs at Falcons

“You like that” Kirk Cousins liked that as he led the Falcons to be a big win in Philly. This week the opponent gets a little more tricky. Isiah Pacheco is out for this game but look for the Chiefs to have a different game plan utilizing their receivers more. This could be lining them up in the backfield. Also, look for Travis Kelce to have a big game with 1 TD. Chiefs 34 Falcons 24.

Jaguars at Bills

Josh Allen will be too much for the Jags in this game. Their running game looks on-point so far, and the D is playing at a high level. In Buffalo, there hard to beat. Bills 27 Jags 20.

Commanders at Bengals

Jayden Daniels has been a pleasant surprise thus far. The ability for him to extend the play makes it hard on opposing defenses. He does have to learn how to slide unless he wants to become like RG3.

In this game, the Commanders will have a hard time against Burrow and company. To me, this comes down to turnovers and who capitalizes on those turnovers. The Commanders must get to Burrow and harass him and they also need to play man against the good Bengals offense. I’ll take the Bengals in this one 24-20.
