Top 5 NFL Teams after Week 11

162

After 11 weeks in the NFL we have a pretty good idea who are the teams to beat. These teams play at a high level each week. When I look at the top teams, I look at the Quarterback and how he is playing. All of these teams have top QB’s mixed in with a top coach.

#5 Baltimore Ravens – Baltimore Ravens remain a very good team, especially with Lamar quarterbacking the offense. The problem for Baltimore is they most likely will have to travel to Pittsburgh or Kansas City in January. We know their secret to success, run Derrick Henry and run Derek Henry. When they steer away from that is when they run into issues. Another problem is their overall defense. They get exploited when a good passing team attacks their weak pass defense. With all of that said, there still #5 and still a legitimate contender in the NFL.

#4 Buffalo Bills – This was a tough one as the Bills look locked in to make a Super Bowl run. They have little weaknesses and are led by the fearless Josh Allen. They are #4 right now but could easily be higher.

#3 Pittsburgh Steelers – The Steelers just beat a top team in the Baltimore Ravens. There defense is top notch and Russell Wilson is clicking on all cylinders. Overall, they have a great team but an issue could be the lack of receivers. Any team coming to Pittsburgh in January will be tough which is why I like them at #3 for now.

#2 Detroit Lions – No Hutchinson, No problem! They lost arguable y one of the best dlineman in the league in Aidan Hutchinson. In his absence, they are still destroying teams led by Jared Goff. With that defense, running game and receivers, they will most likely be the best team coming out of the NFC.

#1 Kansas City Chiefs – Yes, they just lost to the Bills but that may of been a good thing. What really matters is the playoffs where Kansas City excels and the Bills don’t. Losing provides the Chiefs with motivation to beat Buffalo the next time they see each other. With Mahomes, Kelce, Hunt, and that defense they have to be #1, until someone kicks them off the mountain of the NFL.
