Jacksonville Jaguars at New York Jets (EVEN)
Zach Wilson will be starting again for the New York Jets. At one point the Jets were 6-3 after just beating the Buffalo Bills and things looked promising. But they’ve lost four of the last five and are spiraling in the other direction. Zach is not the answer for the Jets and as long as he’s starting quarterback, the Jets won’t win.
Jacksonville 23 Jets 17
Atlanta Falcons at Baltimore Ravens (-7.5)
The Falcons are scraping by hopeing to make the playoffs while the Ravens are in danger of not having their starting quarterback Lamar Jackson start again. At home the Ravens are tough and they really need this game to gain some momentum heading into the playoffs.
Baltimore 20 Falcons 13
Detroit Lions (-2.5) at Carolina Panthers
The red hot Lions are roaring right now and will be looking to keep it up against the Panthers. The Panthers are still shooting for the division as both teams have a lot to play for. I’ll take the Panthers in a close one.
Panthers 21 Lions 20
Buffalo Bills (-9) at Chicago Bears
Looks like the weather will be an issue again for the Buffalo Bills who travel to sunny Chicago. The Bears have Justin Fields but Buffalo is just more talented on both sides of the ball. Also, they are fighting for that #1 seed.
Bills 28 Bears 17
New Orleans Saints at Cleveland Browns (-2.5)
I’ll take the Browns in this one. Both teams aren’t very good and this game should be a close one. Take the Browns by 3.
Browns 21 Saints 18
Seattle Seahawks at Kansas City Chiefs (-9.5)
It’s due or die for the Seahawks who are on the outside looking in for the NFC playoffs. Coming off a tough loss to SF last week, they are looking to bounce back against the Chiefs. The Chiefs have too much offensive fire power which will provide to be too much against Seattle
Chiefs 31 Seattle 23
New York Giants at Minnesota Vikings (-3.5)
You like that!!!! Yeah I like that historic comeback the Vikings had against the Colts. All things had to go their way to enable them to squeak out that victory. Both these teams have a lot to play for and the Giants are riding high after a solid NFC east win against the Commanders. In this game the Giants will lose in a close one due to the Vikings have more talent on the offensive side of the ball.
Vikings 27 Giants 20
Cincinnati Bengals (-3.5) at New England Patriots
The Patriots have a bitter taste in their mouth after a mind-boggling lost on the last play of the game. I would not want to be in practice this week if I was a Patriot. Bengals will have their hands full in this game, but Jamar Chase, Joe Mixon and Burrow will come through when it counts.
Bengals 24 Patriots 20
Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans (-4.5)
The Texans have competed in the last few games and don’t appear to be giving up just yet. The Titans haven’t played well and are looking to bounce back this week. Look for a more focused disciplined team this week against the Texans
Titans 23 Texans 13
Washington Commanders at San Francisco 49ers (-7)
On the surface you would say 49ers all the way. They have a better coach, better D, more weapons on offense and they’re playing at home. But……let’s pump the brakes. This is the NFL, where whatever you think will happen the opposite will. For example, the Texans almost beat the Cowboys a few weeks ago and that came down to the last couple of minutes. The Commanders have to figure out a way to run the ball efficiently and get the ball out of Taylor Heinicke’s hands quick. On defense, they need to be in Purdy’s face all game long and disrupt the rookie quarterback. Oh and attempt to stop McCaffrey coming out of the backfield both with runs and passes. The Commanders D gave up only 13 points, but if you watched that game they struggled on 3rd down and didn’t get as much pressure on Daniel Smith as they would want to. If there going to have any chance, their defense has to play well and they can’t turn the ball over. Take the Commanders in this Christmas Eve battle.

Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys (-5)
Big game on Christmas Eve with two NFC East juggernauts playing each other. In this game, you’ll see why Jalen Hurts is so important to the Eagles success. The Cowboys will be suffocating to the Eagles D and Minshew won’t have time to throw to AJ Brown and the other receivers. The Eagles could have success running the ball but I believe the Cowboys have a plan for that.
Cowboys 27 Eagles 17
Las Vegas Raiders at Pittsburgh Steelers (-3)
Raiders win this one as Davante Adams and Carr connect for 2 TD passes and Josh Jacobs runs for 100 yards.
Raiders 24 Steelers 20
Green Bay Packers at Miami Dolphins (-4)
Miami is back in the warm weather and look for their offense to go off this week led by Waddle and Hill. The Packers are coming off a great win by their playoff hopes will be crushed as the Dolphins will be too quick and efficient for them.
Dolphins 31 Packers 17
Denver Broncos (-2.5) at Los Angeles Rams
Two teams who have underachieved immensely this year. Baker Mayfield has had his moments but the Denver D will be too much for him in this game. This should be a low scoring ugly game to watch
Broncos 13 Rams 10
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-6.5) at Arizona Cardinals
Tampa Bay is fighting to stay atop their division and is looking to gain some momentum as they play the Cardinals. Trace McSorley looks to start this game and TB’s D will be in his face all game. Take the Bucs by 3 in this one
Bucs 23 Cardinals 20
Los Angeles Chargers (-4) at Indianapolis Colts
The Colts are licking their wounds after an epic collapse last week against the Vikings. Their season is over and Nick Foles will be leading the team this week. He may provide a spark but the Chargers are fighting for a playoff spot.
Chargers 27 Colts 21
