2023-24 Fantasy Football Week 9 Rankings

90

It’s time for our fantasy football rankings for week 9. There was a decent amount of activity at the trade deadline but no major offensive players were dealt. With that said there are four teams on BYE this week (Denver, Detroit, San Fran and Jax) so be sure to adjust your rosters accordingly. Below are some of the key injuries we are monitoring this week.

Kenny Pickett Pickett suffered a rib injury in Sunday’s loss to the Jaguars and his status for Thursday night is in jeopardy. Early indications are that Pickett will be a game-time decision but don’t be surprised if he sits. If he doesn’t go backup quarterback Mitch Trubisky will get the start.

Matthew Stafford Stafford sustained a thumb injury in the loss to the Cowboys but as of now it looks to be just a sprain in his right thumb. This situation is worth monitoring as this is on his throwing hand and may affect his status this week.

Curtis Samuel Samuel left the game early vs. the Eagles with a toe injury. He was already dealing with a foot injury so the Commanders may rest him this week so he can heal up.
