Brown's Week 2 fantasy update is an availability update. New England placed him on injured reserve with an ankle injury, so he did not play against Pittsburgh and will miss additional time before he is eligible to return.

His only 2026 game produced three catches for 26 yards on four targets. That small sample should not be used to downgrade the talent, but it also cannot support a current weekly projection while he is unavailable. The Patriots will have to redistribute his outside targets until he returns. Brown's rest-of-season value now depends on how quickly the ankle responds during the injured-reserve window.
