QB Stability judges whether the entire room can hold together through availability, job security, age and the support behind him. That is why a great quarterback can rank below a steadier overall situation. Dak Prescott is one of Dallas' primary offensive strengths. The Dallas Cowboys still rank No. 18 in QB Stability. That does not make Dak Prescott the No. 18 quarterback. The ranking belongs to the entire room, not Dak Prescott alone. Seattle wants to win with defense, create explosives for Smith-Njigba and keep Darnold in controlled down-and-distance situations. That supports a No. 12 QB Stability ranking without calling Sam Darnold an elite individual passer. A stable room is not automatically an elite passing attack.
