Week 1PFM Fantasy Outlook
Maye's opener was uneven. He completed 23 of 33 passes for 178 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions at Seattle, but he also added 47 rushing yards on seven carries. The rushing production kept the fantasy floor from collapsing even while the passing game struggled.
PFM ranks Maye QB12 for Week 2 against Pittsburgh. The ranking reflects both the mobility and the expectation that the turnover count moves back toward normal. New England does not need Maye to become a high-volume passer every week if he keeps creating points with his legs, but three interceptions make it much harder for the offense to sustain scoring chances. Week 2 is a test of whether the rushing floor can pair with cleaner decision-making.
