Pickens erased any concern about changing teams by delivering the best season of his career in Dallas. He caught 93 passes for 1,429 yards and nine touchdowns, averaging 15.4 yards per reception while playing all 17 games. The volume and downfield production arrived together, which is why last year looks more like a true breakout than a touchdown-driven spike.
PFM ranks Pickens WR11 and No. 25 overall. Dallas then placed the franchise tag on him, and he signed the one-year tender worth $27.3 million, locking him into a second season with the Cowboys. That continuity is key after such a large step forward. Pickens no longer needs to be projected as a talented receiver waiting on a better environment. He already proved this offense can support elite yardage. The question for 2026 is whether the 93-catch workload holds while the touchdown total pushes into double digits.
