PFM Fantasy Outlook
Jameson Williams has finally turned his downfield work into touchdowns, but the week-to-week receiving totals still swing sharply. He caught six passes for 102 yards at Carolina in Week 4, then needed only two catches to post a useful result against Arizona because one went for a score. Williams has 18 receptions for 276 yards and two touchdowns across five games. He remains a big-play part of Detroit's offense rather than its volume leader.
The Lions are on their Week 6 bye, so Williams does not have a weekly start this weekend. PFM ranks him WR27 for the rest of the season. His 15.4% target share is modest, but he has been the intended receiver on a much larger portion of Detroit's downfield throws. That combination creates exciting upside with an uncertain floor. The encouraging development is that the offense is connecting on more of those chances. A move toward six or seven regular targets would make him more reliable than counting on a touchdown every time he catches only two passes.
