Jayden Daniels had a Week 7 bye after throwing for 300 yards and two touchdowns at San Francisco. His completion rate in that loss showed Washington could still move the ball through the air, although four sacks and the team's inability to finish drives remained problems. Earlier against the Giants, Daniels had run for 103 yards and two scores, demonstrating that his non-throwing elbow injury had not removed his ability to create rushing production.

Daniels has 759 passing yards and five touchdowns without an interception in four starts, plus 213 rushing yards and two scores. That combination supports his fantasy ceiling, even with the games he missed. PFM's Week 8 ranking lists him QB7 but does not supply an opponent in the weekly entry; Washington is scheduled to face Philadelphia. The rest-of-season board lists him QB20. With Terry McLaurin sidelined, Daniels needs his remaining receivers to win quickly so he does not have to escape pressure on every important down.
