PFM Fantasy Outlook
Matthew Stafford threw for 222 yards and two touchdowns without an interception against Arizona, yet the Rams still lost 18-16. He has been doing enough through the air to keep Los Angeles competitive, including 383 yards and three passing scores against Buffalo the previous week. The bigger problem now is what the offense looks like without Davante Adams. The veteran receiver suffered a significant hamstring injury against the Cardinals and is expected to miss six to 10 weeks.
Stafford has 1,794 passing yards, 11 touchdowns and six interceptions through six starts. Puka Nacua is back and can handle a large receiving role, but removing Adams takes away a trusted downfield and scoring option. The Rams will need more from their remaining receivers, especially near the end zone. PFM's QB11 rest-of-season position reflects the yardage and passing volume. His recent production is encouraging, but the changing receiving group makes the next several games more demanding.
