Kraft's opener showed why his fantasy value does not depend on heavy reception volume. He caught three passes for 65 yards at Minnesota, averaging 21.7 yards per reception and producing two gains of at least 20 yards. That kind of efficiency can separate him from a crowded middle tier at tight end.
PFM ranks Kraft TE4 for Week 2 at the Jets. The three-catch total leaves room for more volume, but the opener already showed that Green Bay is willing to use him downfield rather than only as a short-area option. If the targets rise even slightly, Kraft can support a high-end tight end finish without needing a touchdown.
