PFM Fantasy Outlook

Alec Pierce opened the season with a familiar downfield role, catching four passes for 61 yards against Baltimore before the heel problem took over. He followed with one catch for 11 yards in Week 2 and then landed on injured reserve with a left heel injury. His official season line is five receptions for 72 yards across two games.

That makes Pierce an availability hold rather than a weekly fantasy decision. PFM's current injury tracker lists him on IR, and Indianapolis has had to move forward without one of its starting outside receivers. The early production was not large enough to create standalone value while he is sidelined, but the first game showed the field-stretching role was still present. The next useful fantasy update is not a matchup. It is when Pierce is cleared to practice and whether the Colts immediately restore his normal perimeter snaps.
