PFM Fantasy Outlook
Bo Nix and Denver found a way to beat Seattle in overtime, but the offense gave fantasy managers almost nothing to build on. Nix finished the 17-14 win with only 107 passing yards and no passing touchdowns. The Broncos totaled just 168 yards of offense, making the victory more a product of defense and perseverance than a sign the passing game had turned the corner.
Nix has thrown for 1,049 yards and six touchdowns with three interceptions through six games. Sean Payton has said he is not considering a quarterback change, which removes one immediate concern, but starting every game does not guarantee useful fantasy production. Denver's lack of chunk plays and struggling rushing attack leave Nix in too many short, difficult possessions. PFM's QB10 rest-of-season ranking is more optimistic than his recent numbers. He needs better protection, more aggressive connections with his receivers and significantly more scoring chances to justify it.
