PFM Fantasy Outlook
Chris Godwin Jr. is still getting the kind of short-area work that can build a reception floor, but Tampa Bay has not fed him enough volume for it to pay off. He caught six of seven targets in Week 4, yet those receptions produced only 31 yards. Through four games he has 16 catches for 142 yards and no touchdowns, plus 15 rushing yards on two carries.
PFM has Godwin WR47 for Week 5 at Dallas and WR36 for the rest of the season. The live profile explains the ceiling problem: a 3.8-yard average target depth and only a 6.3% air-yards share. That role can work when the receptions pile up, but 16 catches in four games is not enough to overcome such short targets. Godwin needs either more volume or more work beyond the line of scrimmage before the familiar reception-driven fantasy floor returns.
