Chris Olave did not get his usual workload against Minnesota. Six targets produced four catches and 46 yards, his smallest receiving total since the opener. The bigger view is much stronger: 39 receptions for 537 yards through five games, with consecutive 100-yard performances in Weeks 3 and 4. New Orleans has been willing to throw to him downfield and repeatedly go back to him even when defenses know where the ball is headed.

PFM has Olave WR7 for the Week 6 trip to the Giants and WR7 for the rest of the season. The one touchdown is the obvious gap in his production, but it should not overshadow how much of the Saints passing game runs through him. A receiver commanding this kind of volume can remain productive without scoring every Sunday. His ceiling rises if New Orleans turns more of those drives into red-zone opportunities. The Week 5 slowdown is worth watching, not a reason to abandon the season-long role.
