Loveland's final rookie line of 58 catches for 713 yards and six touchdowns only tells part of the story. He missed the 2025 offseason program while recovering from shoulder surgery and started slowly, then became one of Caleb Williams' most trusted targets. Chicago says Loveland averaged 4.9 catches and 65.8 yards over his final 12 games including the playoffs, with all six touchdowns coming during that stretch.
PFM ranks Loveland TE3 and No. 32 overall. The Bears now enter Year 2 with Loveland healthy for the full offseason, and Ben Johnson has praised both his consistency and his ability to learn multiple spots in the offense. That creates a different scenario from last summer. Loveland no longer has to catch up physically and mentally at the same time. If the late-season role carries into September, the route to joining the very top fantasy tight ends is already visible.
