Emeka Egbuka's Week 5 receiving total was only 38 yards, but the way Tampa Bay used him was more encouraging than the box score. He drew nine targets and caught six passes against Dallas after seeing just four targets against Green Bay. The touchdown helped his fantasy finish. More important for future weeks, the Buccaneers showed they still want to get him involved when the passing game has to move the chains.

PFM ranks Egbuka WR29 against Pittsburgh in Week 6 and WR21 for the rest of the season. His 22.6% target share is substantial, but 192 receiving yards on 21 catches shows how little room there has been after the catch. That is what needs to improve. Another nine-target afternoon would give him a useful base in half-PPR leagues, but a larger breakout requires Tampa Bay to turn those catches into more meaningful yardage rather than asking a touchdown to rescue every start.
