Chase enters 2026 coming off 125 catches for 1,412 yards and eight touchdowns in 16 games. That reception total kept the weekly floor extremely high even though the touchdown count fell well below his 17-score 2024 season. Cincinnati also brings an 88.09 QB Stability score into the year, keeping the Burrow-Chase connection near the top of the league.

The current wrinkle is health. PFM's live injury context lists a left knee hyperextension and notes that Chase missed Wednesday's practice after the injury. PFM still ranks him WR1 and No. 2 overall, so the knee has not changed the preseason board yet. The ranking is built on elite target volume and proven production, but availability now matters more than another projection argument. A clean return to practice would remove the only meaningful concern attached to an otherwise first-round profile.
