Smith-Njigba did more than break out in 2025. He caught 119 passes for an NFL-leading 1,793 yards with 10 touchdowns, averaging 15.1 yards per catch. That combination of reception volume and downfield production is why the jump to the very top of fantasy drafts is sustainable rather than based on projection alone.

PFM has Smith-Njigba at WR2 and No. 4 overall, with Seattle carrying an 86.54 Offense Rating and 84.48 QB Stability score. A receiver who can clear 100 catches while still generating explosive yardage does not need a major role change to justify an early first-round price. The question entering 2026 is whether he can repeat an elite season, not whether he belongs in the elite tier.
