PFM Fantasy Outlook

Waddle's first regular-season game with Denver could hardly have been quieter. He caught one pass for two yards in the 31-10 loss at Kansas City, giving fantasy managers no useful production from a player expected to add speed and separation to the Broncos' passing game. One game is not enough to define the new role, but it does create an immediate volume concern.

PFM ranks Waddle WR20 for Week 2 against Jacksonville. That ranking assumes the opener was not representative of how Denver plans to use him. The path to a rebound is straightforward: more targets, more intermediate and downfield chances, and an offense that stays on schedule long enough to create them. Waddle has a long track record of explosive production, but Week 2 needs to show that his new team will actually feed it.
