PFM Fantasy Outlook
Jaylen Waddle's role in Denver still carries upside, but the production has been uneven. He exploded for eight catches and 138 yards in Week 2, then managed only 10 yards in Week 3 before scoring on five catches for 35 yards in Week 4. Through four games he has 16 receptions for 185 yards and one touchdown.
PFM has Waddle WR16 for Week 5 at the Chargers and WR23 for the rest of the season. His 37.8% air-yards share shows that Denver is using him in a valuable part of the field, yet 7.1 yards per target reflects how inconsistent those opportunities have been. Waddle does not need a larger conceptual role. He needs more of the existing downfield chances to connect. If that happens, the WR23 ROS ranking leaves room for him to climb quickly.
