Burrow's first game was efficient enough for Cincinnati to win without producing an elite fantasy line. He completed 25 of 35 passes for 254 yards, one touchdown and one interception against Tampa Bay, then added 20 rushing yards on five carries. The Bengals leaned on turnovers and field position rather than asking Burrow to carry the scoring output.

PFM sends Cincinnati to Houston in Week 2 with Burrow still attached to one of the league's strongest quarterback environments. The opener did not challenge his season-long value, but it did show how easily a real NFL win can become a modest fantasy result when the touchdown total stays low. Week 2 is about ceiling. If the passing touchdowns rise while the efficiency stays near the Week 1 level, Burrow's fantasy result can move quickly back toward the top tier.
