Week 1PFM Fantasy Outlook
Brooks made his limited Week 1 work count. He carried four times for 14 yards against Chicago and caught one pass for 48 yards, finishing with 62 scrimmage yards on only five touches. The explosive reception showed the talent is still there, but the workload was far too small to support dependable fantasy value.
PFM ranks Brooks RB37 for Week 2 at Atlanta. That puts him in a wait-and-see range until Carolina gives him more work. The encouraging part is that he produced something meaningful on limited opportunities. The next step is straightforward: more carries, more receiving chances and a clearer place in the backfield rotation. Week 2 is about role growth, not chasing the Week 1 efficiency.
