PFM Fantasy Outlook
Josh Allen is finding a different way to overwhelm fantasy opponents. Buffalo has not needed a 400-yard passing day from him, because his legs keep finishing possessions. He has eight rushing touchdowns through five games, along with 239 rushing yards. The passing line is solid at 1,249 yards and seven scores, even with four interceptions. Against the Rams, he attempted only 19 passes but ran 10 times and helped Buffalo win in overtime.
PFM ranks Allen QB1 for Week 6 at Las Vegas and QB1 for the rest of the season. Those numbers are supported by the red-zone work as much as his throwing ability. Eight rushing scores in five games are unlikely to keep arriving at the same pace, but Buffalo clearly trusts him to run when the field gets short. His rushing yardage also keeps ordinary passing days from becoming damaging fantasy results. There is no better combination of weekly opportunities at the position right now.
