Week 1PFM Fantasy Outlook
Pitts opened the season without a reception in Atlanta's loss at Pittsburgh. That is the type of usage result that matters more than any preseason projection because a tight end cannot sustain fantasy value without targets and catches, regardless of athletic profile.
PFM ranks Pitts TE16 for Week 2 against Carolina. The matchup is friendlier, but the real question is whether Atlanta restores him to a meaningful part of the passing game. Pitts does not need eight catches to become playable again. He does need to show that Week 1 was an outlier rather than the start of a low-volume role. Week 2 is a direct target-share test.
