PFM Fantasy Outlook
Ladd McConkey's season has gone from uneven targets to an outright availability problem. The Chargers played Denver without him after he appeared on the injury report with a foot issue. Before that absence, McConkey had 12 catches for 183 yards and a touchdown across four appearances. He went without a catch against Seattle in Week 4, a difficult result for someone expected to help Justin Herbert move the ball consistently.
PFM ranks McConkey WR67 for Week 6 at Kansas City while maintaining WR20 rest-of-season value. That difference makes sense only if the foot problem is temporary and the Chargers can repair a passing game that has struggled to protect Herbert. A return to the field would not automatically restore his former target volume. Managers need to see normal practices and a clear game designation before considering him for Week 6. The long-range upside remains, but present health and usage must lead the decision.
