McConkey's second season was a reminder that development is rarely linear. After 82 catches for 1,149 yards and seven touchdowns as a rookie, he finished 2025 with 66 receptions for 789 yards and six scores. The touchdown production held up, but the yardage dropped by 360 despite playing 16 games again.

PFM ranks McConkey WR19 and No. 40 overall. That price does not require a return to his rookie peak, but it does assume the Chargers can restore some of the volume and explosive production that made him an immediate fantasy hit. He still led Los Angeles in receiving yards last season, so the quieter numbers did not remove him from the center of the passing game. A third-year rebound is easier to buy when the role survived the down season.
