PFM Fantasy Outlook
Rice's 2025 season was productive when he was available. He caught 53 passes for 571 yards and five touchdowns in eight games, a pace that would have put him comfortably over 100 receptions across a full season. Kansas City also used him near the line of scrimmage, where his yards-after-catch ability remains a major part of the profile.
PFM ranks Rice WR18 and No. 38 overall. The Chiefs were ramping him up from a knee issue during training camp, so availability deserves more attention than another projection based on Patrick Mahomes. Rice has already shown he can command volume in this offense, and five touchdowns in eight games last year reinforced the scoring upside. The question is whether his body gives him enough uninterrupted weeks to turn that per-game production into a full-season WR2 finish.
