Seattle held the Chiefs to 213 yards, limited Kenneth Walker III to 36 rushing yards and pressured Mahomes on nearly 39% of his dropbacks. One bad night does not erase Kansas City's larger profile, but the 20-3 loss showed that even this offense can stall when the front loses and the explosive answers disappear.

Kansas City's identity is built on forcing a defense to defend Patrick Mahomes and Kenneth Walker III at the same time. Seattle did the opposite by controlling the line, holding Walker to 36 yards and pressuring Mahomes without letting him escape into explosive plays.
