Odunze's opener was a small-volume, big-play line. He caught two passes for 52 yards against Carolina, including a 47-yard gain, while Chicago's offense exploded for 59 points. The long reception showed the vertical role is still there, but two catches were easy to miss inside such a productive team performance.
PFM ranks Odunze WR26 for Week 2 against Minnesota. The matchup offers upside, but the target count needs to rise before the weekly floor becomes comfortable. Odunze does not need double-digit receptions to create value because his downfield role can turn a few chances into a strong fantasy day. Still, Week 2 is a useful test of whether Chicago can support both Odunze and Luther Burden with enough volume in the same passing game.
