Lawrence opened 2026 with one of his most efficient games in years. He completed 18 of 23 passes for 245 yards and four touchdowns against Cleveland without throwing an interception. Jacksonville did not need heavy passing volume because Lawrence consistently finished drives.

PFM ranks Lawrence QB10 for Week 2 at Denver. The matchup is tougher, and four touchdowns on 23 attempts will not be a normal conversion rate, but the opener showed a quarterback operating comfortably in the offense. Week 2 is less about chasing another four-score game and more about whether the efficiency holds when the Jaguars face a defense that can force longer drives and more difficult throws.
