The Chargers lost another defensive back while Derwin James and Donte Jackson were already unavailable. That left the secondary with fewer options to cover Patrick Mahomes and Kansas City's receivers.

PFM Impact on Los Angeles Chargers
Justin Herbert lost a reliable short-area receiver against Kansas City while the Chargers were already without both regular starting tackles. With fewer quick throws available, an offense struggling to protect Herbert had an even harder time sustaining drives.
Offense RatingRoster Strength
The Chargers have one fewer edge defender available against Kansas City. Khalil Mack and Tuli Tuipulotu must carry more of the pressure snaps.
