FRAUDS of Week 13

242

We are back with our Week 13 edition of FRAUDS Of The Week. This series highlights the players who failed their projections the most for the current week. We use Sleepers’ PPR Format for the point system and forecasts. Let’s look back at the players that swung their team to victory this week.

QB Fraud Of The Week: Deshaun Watson 6.34 FP

131 Passing Yards, 1 Interception, 7 Carries, 21 Rushing Yards (Projected: 20.56 FP)

Deshaun Watson had a debut to forget when the Browns’ played the Texans. The new QB1 completed 12 of 22 passes for just 131 yards and an interception. The rust was there after a a long absence from the game. With the fantasy playoffs approaching, it’s best to stay away from him at the moment until he shows that he is back.

RB Fraud Of The Week: Jeff Wilson 0.30 FP

1 Carry, 3 Rushing Yards (Projected: 12.18 FP)

Miami abandoned their running game early when they were down quickly to the San Francisco 49ers. This affected Jeff Wilson’s performance greatly. The RB ran for just three yards and missed two targets in the loss. He has been consistent this past few weeks, so look for him to bounce back against the Chargers in Week 14.

WR Fraud Of The Week: Michael Pittman Jr. 3.60 FP

2 Receptions, 16 Receiving Yards (Projected: 14.32 FP)

Michael Pittman Jr. was stopped in Dallas’ blowout win over the Colts 54-19. Trevon Diggs and the Cowboys’ defense did their job in stopping Pittman. The Colts’ WR caught just two balls for 16 yards. This was his worst performance of the year and he gets a chance to rest in Week 14 during their bye.

TE Fraud Of The Week: Travis Kelce 7.60 FP

4 Receptions, 56 Receiving Yards, 1 Fumble Lost (Projected: 19.79 FP)

Travis Kelce had an underwhelming performance against the Bengals in the loss to the Bengals. Kelce only caught four passes for 56 yards and lost a fumble also. Cincinnati has had its way with KC over the past few games. If ever they meet in the playoffs, it will surely be a fun matchup to watch.

DEF/ST Fraud Of The Week: Jacksonville Jaguars -2 FP

35+ Points Allowed, 2 Sacks (Projected: 6.44 FP)

The Detroit Lions stomped through the Jacksonville Jaguars 40-14 in their Week 13 matchup. Jared Goff was elite, throwing for 340 yards and two TDs, both to Amon-Ra St. Brown who had 11 catches for 114 yards. In the running game, D’Andre Swift and Jamaal Williams combined for 97 rushing yards and two TDs. Chad Muma led the way with one and a half sacks for the Jaguars.

Thanks for reading! You can look forward to this series until the end of the season. You can check out the last installment of FRAUDS Of Week 11.
